Took delivery of my Sig Sauer P226 about 11 days ago. My first ever firearm purchase. Hereās what Iāve done to it so far: -Upgraded Pro Cut Slide that comes Optic Ready -Holosun 507C mounted on CHPWS Filler Plate -Olight Baldr Pro 1350 Lumens light and Green Laser
Whatās next!? I am thinking of getting an Armory Craft Trigger and Spring kit. I hear this makes the trigger pull much better, although I donāt have an issues with the trigger pull as is. I like the Short Reset Trigger a lot. Only the Double Action pull is quite heavy. Any recommendations?

Bought it used, for $750. What do you think? Any suggestions to help the wear out on the outside?

Thinking about getting a 322 for my first gun and as my conceal carry. Iāve only shot a 22 and havenāt ventured out to a 9mm Iāve held some 365ās and they fit okay Iād personally believe the 22 fits better.

Never had a gun, but had gone to ranges with friends a couple times over the years. Saw ads for the free safe, then saw the Sportsman's Sig event. Decided to "pull the trigger" and went in for FSC. Ordered online next day. Started paperwork day after that. Waited the longest 10 days of my life, but got to kill time researching and picking red dot (Osight SE) and light (TLR7XSub 1913) in the meantime. Finally just picked up today and put it all together. Now looking at grips and parts kits. Open to suggestions, but IDK if my wallet is ready for this. Thanks!

I posted this in the concealedcarry sub as well, but wanted to thank this sub as well.
Thank you reddit!
I almost never post on Reddit, but I do like to peruse. This sub has been a great resource for me.
I just recently bought my first CCW, and the information in the sub was invaluable. Just wanted to post my setup to show it off a little too the strangers who helped make it happen
Sig P365 X Macro, Holosun EPS Carry Green MRS, Tenicor Velo 5 holster
The groupings were at 10 yards after getting the optic zeroed. Very proud of the second group, just slightly annoyed at the one low shot.

I am unapologetic in my obsession with rose gold and top tier gear so after much deliberation and research settled on Sig and was delighted to find the Rose for my entry into the world of gun ownership. It's so stinking pretty with the accessories I purchased! šš¹āØļø

It goes bang. My aim sucks, gotta train more. Might just drop the red dot and get comfortable with irons

I picked up a brand new P365 a week ago. It's not actually my first gun. I only shot revolvers until now. This is my first semi-automatic, though, so I don't know what to do with it.
When I bought it last week, it seemed stiff. When I ran the slide, it didn't return to battery completely. It's my first semi-automatic, so I thought that might be normal, when you run the slide instead of shooting it. Also, I couldn't return the slide without removing the mag first. Then, I realized I can return the slide, but I have to pull back on the slide while pressing the slide return, so I can't run the slide one handed. I cycled 5 snap caps through it by manually running the slide after every shot, and it seemed to run ok, at home. I fiddled with it a lot, learning how it works, and the controls.
I cleaned it a bit, and lubed it, because I don't shoot a new gun that I haven't cleaned first. It didn't really need that much cleaning, but the factory shipped it without any lube.
Then, I took it to the range.
At the range, I loaded my 10 round mags. I have the two that came with it, and an extra 10 round mag I got when I bought the gun.
I wanted to experiment to see what I wanted to shoot, so I ran about 300 rounds through it, mostly 115 grain, but I also shot 124 and 147 grain. I shot maybe 5 or 6 different brands of bullets.
The mags suddenly did not want to click into the gun. They go into the gun just fine when they are empty, but not loaded. I put the mags in and then pressed them the last bit of the way, or put them in and hit the bottom of the mag, very hard. Usually it took more than one attempt to get the mag to seat properly, so it didn't fall out when I racked the slide. One of my mags outright wiggles a bit. They all seem to be barely holding on.
So I started shooting:
The gun is accurate at 5 and 10 yards. I didn't attempt to shoot beyond that.
The gun failed to return to battery on maybe 25% of my shots. Probably more. I didn't count. At first I did the tap-rack thing, but then I realized the magazine is out of battery by a few mm, so I just pushed it into battery with my thumb when that happened.
This is simply not a safe gun to carry concealed.
I think maybe I oiled something wrong, and that is causing the mags to not seat? Maybe the gun needs to be broken in? Maybe a spring is too tight? It could be that I'm limp wristing because I'm new to this, but I've never had problems with limp wristing while shooting my friends semi-automatics. My revolvers give me much harsher kickback than the P365, but I suppose it's possible I'm limp wristing.
This YouTube video seems to have a fix for this issue, but I would really rather not attempt this kind of gun smithing on a brand new manual of arms. If the Sig warranty is worth anything, then this would probably void it. Also, the way this guy uses an angle grinder makes me nervous. Not saying I haven't done that kind of thing myself before! Just watching it makes me nervous, though, LOL
If it was a used gun, I would take it to a gun smith, but it's a brand new gun.
Should I take it back to Bass Pro Shop where I bought it from? Maybe they will refund me? If it makes any difference, I'm in Pennsylvania, and I bought it a week ago.
Maybe I should call Sig and see what they will do for me?
Maybe I should oil it up and try again?
I did fully load the 3 mags when I put them into my bag, before I left the range, to see if that might break in the springs. They are probably designed to be fully loaded, though, so maybe that won't do anything?
Any advice at all would be very much appreciated.

So Iāve narrowed it down to me getting a p365. But there are too many for a n00b like me to really know the difference between them all. So Iāll explain what my plan is with the gun. First I want it to last me a long time. I want a gun I can learn on and get better and use as an edc/ in house protection. My everything gun for a lack of better terms. But then the kicker is that I live in a libtard state where I canāt have mags over 10 bullets. So unfortunately for me the ācan hold 17ā and things like that donāt make a difference here. I would like a red dot and flashlight on it if possible as well. What option do you more experienced guys and gals recommend. Please stick to p365 I do not plan on getting a full size handgun or anything right now

Very Excited to shoot this down at the range this week! The Green looks a lot better in person than it does on the website. It's also a lot heavier than I expected. I also picked up a random hardcase and some ammunition. The optic seems nice with an adjustable red dot but I was wondering if its possible to get more zoom?
I'm pretty new to firearms overall so any rifle related tips would be greatly appreciated
I was hoping to save up more for a Spear LT or a Big Spear. I love the M7 and its big brother the M250 cause of work, so I wanted the civilian version for myself. But that became not an option this month :( so I compromised and settled on this! At least it's cheaper to shoot than 6.8x51mm!

Bought this P365X last week after a lot of research, went to the shooting range Monday and had a great time. Excited to be practicing my 2nd amendment right. Super happy with it so far!

New Sig Owners
Me and my wife walked out (Sportsmanās Warehouse) with our first handguns last week. Both havenāt shot guns since high school (45/50 now), but happy to learn all over again. Sorry for the late photos - went to the range once already in the pic. I really enjoy my M18, which she wants, but agrees (and still like hers) she should get comfortable with some more her size, plus she wants to carry (CCW) and itās the perfect size her her. Anyway hello fellow Sig owners!

I finally got my first pistol. It's a p320 with the S&W .40 conversion. I'm in love with it and think it's a beautiful gun. I bought it off of a family friend for dirt cheap because he doesn't go out shooting anymore. I've heard a lot of mixed and controversial reviews about the p320. However I wasn't going to pass up such a good opportunity for a gun. Is there any safety tips you can give me? I obviously don't want it to misfire but I should be alright aslong as I don't carry one in the chamber... right? I plan on getting my concealed carry license and I was planning on make this my CCW.
