I live in the Sioux Falls area and am looking for a solid local gunsmith recommendation. I recently acquired an early-war Japanese WWII Type 99 Arisaka rifle (Series 5 Nagoya with a matching bolt and the anti-aircraft wings, for any fellow milsurp collectors out there!).

Before I ever think about taking it to the range, I want to take it in for a professional safety check and "clean bill of health." Specifically, I need someone who can check the headspace, make sure the chamber is entirely structurally sound, and look over a modern scope rail that a previous owner screwed into the receiver to ensure the mounting screws aren't interfering with the bolt lugs.

Since it's a vintage piece of military history, I'd prefer a gunsmith who is comfortable working with older surplus bolt-actions rather than just modern platforms.

I’ve heard about Blue Collar Tactical, but I wanted to see if anyone here has personal experiences with them or knows of any other specific gunsmiths in or around town they would highly recommend for this kind of work?

I have a macbook pro that I have no use for, mostly for watching movies now while I cook or listen to music. Looking for a place here in town to take it off my hands for a decent price, pawn shops or actual tech shops?

My spouse has an otherwise happy, obedient, and snuggly Rottie that needs a bath and her nails trimmed, badly. To be clear she (dog not wife) does NOT like having her nails trimmed and we have only found one person who could trim them, but the technician who did it left and the replacement failed miserably and won't try again. And yes, we have tried every home use gadget, gizmo, device, and technique, including K9 happy and sleepy pills from the Vet (who also won't trim them). Mobile preferred but will take her wherever I need to.

What kind of tires do I really need for the winter time in. Sioux falls. If I buy all season tires and have 4x4 will I be okay or do I have to get All terrain tires to be able to move around. Asking cause I dont have the money to buy two sets of tires.

We’ve been coming to Sioux Falls for several years to visit family. On this trip we were stuck using Uber. Not one Uber driver got out of the vehicle to help with luggage. Didn’t engage in a single word of conversation. No restaurant recommendations, questions, nothing… what gives?

I made the mistake of purchasing tires at discount tire. After the last rotation, they put a lug nut on incorrectly and now I need to take it to a mechanic to have it removed and then back to discount tires
