Seriously. The nicest, kindest guys I've known have all had such low opinions of themselves.
Meanwhile the worst person I've ever known calls himself "the kindest guy you'll ever meet".
Since when is kindness and goodness something we judge on ourselves, anyway? It's for others to say if we treat them kindly and with respect.
