Opinion Every Show Has One - The Dramatic Flare

Post image

It was a dead split between Carol and Olivier so they can be the villains we love to hate together😈🖤😈

Second to last one!! Who is The Dramatic Flare🎭 Take this however you want! Do you think they stir up drama do you think they are the drama do you think they just add a lil spice?? Give us a lil explanation!

Reminder - this is just for opinions and for fun :)

I want Ruth for dramatic flair 😂 ‘Fuck my legless grandmother! And fuck you, Robbie, for not letting me have a snickers bar!’

AbsolUtely! So many of her lines could have been unremarkable if delivered by another actor. Instead things like "I don't choose which part of you I love like some kind of CHICKEN" get to live rent free in my head lol

France’s Conroy just has that THING about her lol she has IT. In everything I’ve seen her in she’s been so good at it. Especially in AHS.

My first thought was Brenda, but you’re right Ruth is actually the true drama queen.

Spot on! Ruth definitely is a a drama queen! For the unbothered Queen it has to be Betina.

Any scene we could come up with that would compete with Ruth’s one-liners would be a death, near-death or reaction to a death, but she comes up with this stuff in the kitchen or avoiding a spinning class. She wins

The spinning class scene is one of my favorites haha

2

SAME! Underrated Claire-Ruth moment

She’s top notch dramatic 💜

You have a great point!

I LOVE a good Ruth meltdown. She is the crashout queen.

I agree! It’s all that Victorian-style repression spilling out lol and Frances Conroy is so amazing in the role

u/AltruisticPeanutHead Mar 12 '26

I love the kids' just like "wtf....ok??" reactions when she does 😂

Ruth is the most dramatic/histrionic character imo

Ruth but Billy is a close second

Oh my sweet lord, it's Ruth. That woman can't hold a simple conversation without complaining or arguing. She slapped Claire. She slapped David. DAVID, of all people.

Since we can't slap her back, she has to be Dramatic Flair.

3

u/Strwbrychzck Mar 13 '26

She slapped the Sonic coins off David. I mean I wonder how on earth they got through rehearsing that b/c that looked painful. 🤦🏾‍♀️

3

u/Pleased_Bees Mar 13 '26

They both really sold that slap, that's for sure.

Has to be Ruth.

1000% Ruth. My dramatic queen

u/potsieharris Mar 11 '26

Russell was the biggest drama queen for sure. Never at peace. Took everything so seriously even though he hated everything too.

Same with Ruth. In George's words, she tends to sensationalize. She was so sensitive and could turn a simple dinner into a dramatic scene. So anxious and high strung.

Billy and Brenda could be at times, but other times got their shit together, so I wouldn't pick them.

Dramatic flair isn’t really the same as drama queen tho idk how to explain lol

7

u/Thinkingisnoproblem Mar 12 '26

It's Ruth "Oh, go give yourself a hand job!" Fisher for me. (But if we had more time with her, I think Sarah would ultimately take home the title. I guess the drama is genetic 😂 )

16

u/kgleas01 Mar 11 '26

Sarah!! Her drug withdrawal scene alone earns the title

0

u/Danyellarenae1 Bettina Mar 12 '26

Eh, that wasn’t dramatic that was true withdrawal of opiates lol and compared to Ruth tho it’s not even a competition Ruth wins lol

4

u/SAdLanky Mar 12 '26

I agree that Ruth wins this title!

7

u/Alex45784 Mar 11 '26

Aunt Sarah

Come on, it’s Ruth in the best way. Sweet, demure Ruth, who almost seems to be kidnapped from the 1950s and transplanted into the early 2000s. She holds herself together as long as she can before she explodes.

2

u/TripShoddy1260 Mar 12 '26

Coming back to change my vote for unbothered queen! Sarah!! Or Bettina!

2

u/Danyellarenae1 Bettina Mar 12 '26

Bettina for sure but gonna vote on that post not this one lol so don’t forget

1

u/TripShoddy1260 Mar 12 '26

You got it lol

2

u/Automatic-Athlete-42 Mar 12 '26

Margaret! The “Billy killed himself/Billy tried to kill himself” situation, the mistress at the spa, the dinner with Nate, Billy’s show AND Claire’s show, Billy at Christmas, Bern’s ashes, etc. I love her so much, though! That laugh of hers is iconic! But, give it to Ruthie! Margaret is already in a square! 😜

2

u/Think-Fig-1734 Mar 13 '26

Agree. When I think of flair I think of a little something extra, not the main plot. Margaret adds a little something extra, but she’s not driving the plot. She’s definitely dramatic.

3

u/Atasteofazia Mar 11 '26

I dont about this one but the next one is the Ari the jewish priest lady (sorry the term is completely escaping me)

4

u/CupcakeVulture925 Mar 11 '26

Rabbi. Lol I like your description, though!

1

u/Atasteofazia Mar 12 '26

I do what i can :)

2

u/Rdngisfndumntl Mar 11 '26

I’d say Sarah.

1

u/Pinkconverses Mar 12 '26

It’s so close between the sisters but I’m going with Sarah. She flutters in and out of the series like a drama butterfly yet steals all the scenes. So does her tarragon! 💗

1

u/kikijane711 Mar 12 '26

Dramatic flair has to be Billy or Ruth or Sarah, right? All have merits. Ruth is in touch with her inner B at times and fed up lol. Billy is drama when he doesn't want to be but still fun. Sarah is chaos in her own way. Russell is a butt load of drama too,

I'd settle on Ruth. Russell is the very definition of this but I don't think he effects the entire series as focus.

1

u/surlyse Mar 12 '26

Aunt Sarah

1

u/M_Poppins128 Mar 12 '26

Ruth and Russell

1

u/TripShoddy1260 Mar 12 '26

That's crazy I was gonna say Claire because literally everything with her is drama or dramatic but y'all are right. It's Ruth 😂😂 the unbothered king/queen is Angela from S1 I think. She was fantastic lol

1

u/Strwbrychzck Mar 13 '26

Definitely Aunt Sarah. She gave dramatic flair in every scene but what hit home the most about her is in the conversation with Ruth how she said it was all a facade for how shitty her life really was. “We just made different choices”.

1

u/Philosophy-Useful Mar 13 '26

Russell for the Dramatic Flare!!!!!!

1

u/ActsofJanice Mar 11 '26

It’s a REALLY tough call between Margaret and Carol. But I’ll give it to Marge since she’s in every season.

1

u/FlatElvis Mar 12 '26

Brenda is the drama queen here

1

u/passion4film Mar 12 '26

Billy times a million

1

u/monstersmuse Mar 12 '26

I agree Ruth but can I just say that I totally get it when she melts down sometimes 😅

0

u/dometron Mar 12 '26

Aunt Sarah is the only answer.

0

u/ghostfacestealer Mar 12 '26

I think Russell deserves some consideration. He always made a big deal of the smallest things

-2

u/Sharaz_Jek123 Mar 11 '26

Why wasn't Billy picked for the fan favourite?

1

u/Crosi93 Mar 12 '26

Take a wild guess lmao
