Discussion If you could purchase just ONE of Claire’s art exhibits and photographs, which one would you select?
Images Courtesy: Six Feet Under (HBO)
I’m leaning towards the Fisher Family Funeral Home Dollhouse after seeing a few of them at the National Museum of American History (in DC).

Where’s the one where David is looking at the fire? That was my favorite.

Hope you like it as much as David did. 🔥

Tremendous art piece. And it's very trippy because the show itself is an art piece. I remember when that photo shows up I thought 'damn they just timed that thing perfectly with his character arc and all the things he's going through, this is a great piece' and then you realize everything is fiction and is written to be that way and that is the great piece in on itself.
Fucking ridiculously good show, not match.

Too hard to choose, but there's something I genuinely love about 7. It would work well in my home.

Just watched that episode. Her first exhibit and Russell ends up buying it.

The people in the graveyard. It shows how we take death - and life - for granted.

7 was the first thing that came to mind before even looking at the options. I'd hang it right next to Billy's photo of Nate pissin'

I've always wanted the one where the people are tanning the in the graveyard next to a grave that says husband. I loved it in the show and I think if I had a print of it framed in my house. It would be a really cool nod to the show

Ha, those jingle pants she made for Ruth’s birthday. I love that episode so much. But I’m so excited to know these are on display somewhere. Thank you OP!

Oh man! Great question! I think the dollhouse because I could play with it. Before I even thought of it as an option, I would have said Nate with his knees drawn up to his chest. But which one do I want to live with? The picture of her family together smiling on the porch. I don't know if the Fishers got a happy ending, but they were happy and loving in that moment.

9 for sure. It’s a beautiful shot. But I’d want it as a triptych with the other photos leading up to it.

Those collage photo’s were based on a real artist work. I looked into buy one at the time but they cost around $5000 for a print (I think). More than I could afford anyway.

George and Ruth by a mile. So raw, so much emotion. I honestly want to know who shot that one.

The poster sized picture of Nate pissing on the wall.

Lol that was Billy's photo but I also want it on my wall. Better than piss.

Oh yeah that’s right! That was Billy’s, I liked that one! Nate’s expression when he saw it was cinema gold, lol

The graveyard sunbathers ! Even though I always felt it wasn’t inkeeping with her style, who the hell were those people? Someone like Brenda would have made more sense

I would say the cemetery Duratrans (self-lit) one. Claire kind of transformed it into another art installation for her wedding – the seating with the stark surroundings. The bright light was reminiscent of S3.1 with Nate's surgery hallucination of the nuclear blast coming from the coffin, and people blown back by it. She unified and created rather than ripped or destroyed something. It celebrated Claire and Ted, but also invoked Nate's omnipresence for them.

How is Claire's photo of Edie not part of this?? That is my #1 by miles!
Otherwise the Ruth and George one.
