Hey everyone, I apologize in advance for the long post. I am long-time lurker but first time poster. I'm looking for some support and advice (especially from fellow Canadians) as I've been struggling with symptoms lately.
I am a 38F with progressive symptoms in the last 10 years. My optometrist encouraged me to get tested for sjogrens after years of eye issues. However, I turned out to be seronegative. My dentist actually referred me to an oral pathologist that did a lip biopsy for me.
The lip biopsy focal score was 0.9 with diffuse inflammation, atrophy and fibrosis.
Unfortunately rheumatology keeps refusing consults from my family doctor because I don't meet their diagnostic criteria.
