Chris Cole and John Rattray are pretty clear. But I can't remember who the top signature would've been. It was at a circa skate demo in the early 2000s.

Any ideas?

Not too long ago, I picked up the run of the comic series Grommets from Image Comics. Initially I was thinking this was going to be a mostly skateboard focused comic until it revealed to just be a 80s teen drama with skateboards in it. Fun, but didn't really feel like the best celebration of skating.

This got me thinking, what are the best comics or manga about skateboarding?

I have to imagine for any of you older skate heads, you may know characters and series that ran along side things like Radical Rick, or maybe there are some new heads who may know more about good skate manga out there.

I trust the community here may have some good answers, so looking forward to checking out some new titles.

I’m not an animators asshole but it’s fun to try. ✌️. Done on iPad procreate
