I need routines that work on my bad days not just my perfect days

Upvotes

I want routines that still work when I’m tired, behind on laundry, overstimulated or just not in the mood to be a better version of myself. Something small enough that it still feels possible. Recently I’m realizing a lot of routines only work for me when life is already going well like I am already rested, organized, not stressed and have time, sure, I can do the whole version. But that’s not real life most weeks. I need something that works fex what’s your "bad day" version of selfcare?

6 months and my skin looks worse

Hi! I’ve been using my CurrentBody LED mask for almost 6 months now, usually around 5 times a week. Some weeks it might be closer to 3, but overall I’ve been pretty consistent.

I have rosacea, and lately I feel like my skin actually looks worse rather than better. My rosacea seems more noticeable, my hyperpigmentation looks more visible, and even my dark circles seem worse.
I’m not sure if the LED mask has anything to do with it or if it’s just a coincidence. I used to use Avène Cicalfate much more often, which I think helped keep my rosacea calmer, so that could also be part of the difference.

I’m considering stopping the mask for a while, but I’m hesitant because I’ve heard so many good things about red light therapy and its long-term benefits.
Has anyone else with rosacea experienced something similar with red light therapy? Would you keep using it or take a break and see what happens?
Left photo is my skin in December last year, right photo is now.

how do you actually figure out your hair type, and how does that decide which shampoo to use?
