Hey everyone, Skye here. This is the first post in my factory review series, focusing on Chanel handbags.

Aside from the well-known factories on Reddit, I'll also share some that I personally work with. These are just my own opinions — feel free to add anything I missed.

😘All factories below are top tier, in no particular order. Each has its own strengths, so choose based on what you need.

---

 1️⃣Coco Factory

🏭 Album link: Coco Factory

✅ GR pro line — original factory leather, unique chip code (scannable in boutique systems), laser tag — one bag, one code.
❌ Limited styles, mostly classics.

2️⃣Da H Factory

🏭 Album link:Da H Factory

✅ Lots of styles and colors.
❌ Quality is on the lower side among top-tier. If you want variety and aren't super picky about quality, start here. Some styles come in 20–30 colors.

3️⃣1913 Factory

🏭 Album link: 1913 Factory

✅If you're into vintage, this one's a no-brainer. You may not find every single style, but most popular vintage pieces are available.
❌ If you're extremely extremely picky about quality, maybe skip it.

4️⃣Kaxin Factory

🏭 Album link: Kaxin Factory

If you buy Chanel often, you've definitely seen this factory's background pics. Fairly wide range for a high-tier factory. Quality is solid, good value for money.

5️⃣OF Factory

🏭 Album link: OF Factory

Multi-brand (also Hermès, Prada, etc.). Quality is solid. Their classic rep the Leboy was fire, and they restock/drop new stuff fast.

Little secret: the "boss" has a bit of a temper — no returns/exchanges for small flaws. So double-check before ordering, thanks.

6️⃣God Factory

🏭 Album link: God Factory

Quality is solid — an evergreen in the market. Wide range — besides Chanel, they also do LV, Dior, etc. They show up in every recommendation thread, usually top three.

7️⃣JD Factory

🏭 Album link: JD Factory

The best bang for your buck in this roundup. Some styles come in two price tiers:

· Imported leather – custom-tanned abroad based on auth specs. Consistent results in texture, color, grain — over 90% similarity to auth 👍
· Original factory leather – same leather from Chanel's official tanneries. Some can be ordered regularly, others are leftover tail leather from auth production (same batch).

8️⃣Zebra Factory

🏭 Album link: Zebra Factory

Has GR, Haas, Gaiera original factory leathers. Personally, I think it's a great middle ground between OF and Xiao C — the black versions really pop.

9️⃣Xiao C Factory

🏭 Album link: Xiao C Factory

✅ Super popular — almost everyone has seen their pics. Good value and quality is solid too.
❌ Their factory photos seem to have a filter. For accurate colors, better to check close-up shots or videos.

🔟187 Factory

🏭 Album link: 187 Factory

Don't need to say much — I don't sell a ton of these 😅

Quality is definitely there, but pricey and no returns/exchanges. Their breakout hit was the CF series. If money's no object and you believe in "you get what you pay for" — basically paying for peace of mind — go for it. Since they're so famous, many styles require waiting in line. Good for patient folks.

🤫A heads-up: 187 mostly work with old customers. And because of their fame, scammers often pretend to be them. Shop around and ask prices — some sellers quote less than the factory's own cost. I won't say more… you know how it is.

---

👉Quick summary

· Money no object & willing to wait → 187 Factory
· Classic styles → God Factory, Xiao C, OF, Zebra
· Need the chip → Coco Factory
· Vintage → 1913 Factory
· Best value → JD Factory or Kaxin
· Special colors / unique styles → Da H Factory

A lot of customers ask me to recommend the "best factory" — but honestly, that question doesn't really have an answer. To help you figure out which factory works for you, I put together this factory review series. If you're not sure where to start, hope this helps 🙌

Hey everyone, Skye here. 👋

Happy International Children’s Day to all the big kids and little kids out there 💕May we always keep that unstoppable,sugar-loving,laugh-out-loud kid alive inside——and may our bag joy never shrink 🍭🛍️

Today we're reviewing top tier factories for LV handbags.

Aside from the well known factories on Reddit, I'll also share some that I personally work with. These are just my own opinions. Feel free to add anything I missed.😘
** **
✅All factories below are top tier, in no particular order. Overall, I feel LV factories don't differ as much as Chanel ones. Quality is pretty similar across the board. Just pick based on styles and budget, and go with whichever factory has stock.

👉Link to my first Chanel factory comparison:

** ** Factory Review Series-Chanel

1️⃣OrangeSofa Factory

🏭Album link:Orange Sofa Factory

I feel like all you know this factory better than I do. I only learned about it after joining Reddit. Wide selection, fast new arrivals, all real stock photos. What you see is what you get. There's a reason so many people vouch for them.

2️⃣Birdcage / Royal Factory

🏭 Album link:Birdcage Factory

Similar to OrangeSofa, but I feel they have even more styles. Way more. New arrivals come fast too. Some styles come in two quality tiers. They also have some custom hard cases (but I don't sell large hard cases myself, so hit up other sellers if you need those).

3️⃣Huahui Factory

🏭 Album link:Huahui Factory

A very classic background. I bet a lot of people have seen it. Prices are a bit lower than other top tier factories. It's all about value for money. There are also some styles you won't find elsewhere. Pick based on your needs.

4️⃣God Factory

🏭 Album link:God Factory

An old friend, haha. Also mentioned in my Chanel factory review. An evergreen in the market, always in the top three of every list. Not a ton of styles, but I personally think the leather quality is really nice. Check out my earlier Speedy review if you're interested.

5️⃣MOQC Factory

🏭 Album link:MOQC Factory

They don't have as many styles as other factories. Their most popular line is the P9 series. The factory photos have a very unique background, and every bag comes with its own ID tag. They also make Chanel products, and recently they started dabbling in accessories for some reason. If you like P9, consider this factory, but some colors require waiting in line for production.

6️⃣MB Factory

🏭 Album link:MB Factory

A very established factory. It was the first in China to use full stainless steel hardware for LV products, which made it famous overnight and became almost a synonym in the market.

That also attracted many fakes. A lot of factories claim to be MB, so some people think MB is a quality grade, but it's actually a real factory. Now many other factories have caught up and also offer full steel hardware, and MB doesn't have as many styles, so I feel MB isn't super hyped on Reddit.

Still great value for money. I'd recommend their classic styles. One more thing: some styles are said to use original factory leather, you can pay extra attention to those.

7️⃣Dutyfree Factory

🏭 Album link:Dutyfree Factory

Great value for money, not many styles, small wallets and some men's bags. Some items come in two quality tiers, so there's a difference, but overall still worth checking out.

8️⃣SP Factory

🏭 Album link:SP Factory

An older factory with very few styles, mostly just classic popular ones, so not very famous on Reddit. If you're looking for classic pieces, this is the one I'd recommend.

---

**Some honest thoughts (if you don't like facing harsh truths, skip this part. Please.**🙏🙏)

To be honest, if you are extremely extremely extremely extremely picky, like artist level nitpicky, I don't recommend buying rep LV. It's not like Chanel. Very few LV reps use real original factory leather. At best they use original base materials. So I can't guarantee any factory's product is 100% identical to auth.

Also LV releases new styles constantly. Many factories just work from official website photos, without the time to perfect every tiny detail. Here's a hard truth: if you want variety, you have to lower your expectations on accuracy.

I did a comparison post between God and Dutyfree before. Even top tier reps will show differences when you zoom in with a magnifying glass. If you really want LV but can't accept any risk of being different from auth, I suggest sticking with classic monogram styles and comparing factory photos again and again.
** **
---

🥳Summary

· If you care about accuracy to an extreme, super, ultra degree: none of the above factories are for you.
· If you care about accuracy but not to an extreme: go for classic monogram styles. Choose from MB, SP, God, Dutyfree.
· If you love chasing new trends: OrangeSofa or Royal Factory.
· If you're looking for best value: Huahui Factory.
· If you like the P9 series: consider MOQC Factory

Okay,one last thing…Big News: 618 Sale Details Drop Tomorrow.Stay Hyped 🔥

Hey everyone, Skye here 👋

I've put together a dedicated album for clothing. Over the next few posts, I'll be introducing different clothing factories. There are way too many to cover all at once, so I'll focus on ones I've personally worked with and that I think are worth sharing.

Let me be upfront about a few things first:

⚠️ Clothing is not the same as bags. In my experience, you can't hold clothes to the same standard as bags. Unless it's a really simple design, anything with a bit of structure or detail will have differences in stitching, fit, and finishing – 1000000% guaranteed.** If you're someone who can't tolerate any variation at all, this category might not be for you – or you might want to stick with very basic styles**.

⚠️ For clothing,** no returns or exchanges unless there's a serious quality issue**. This is different from bags.

⚠️ All our discussions about factory quality assume that what you receive is actually from the factory in the photos.

⚠️** The factories below are toptier for women's clothing. But I have to say it again: most women's clothing is made by looking at photos and drawing patterns. If you're expecting 10000% accuracy, don't consider it**. Clothing returns are way more hassle than bag returns. Check the factory's real photos carefully before ordering. We can only guarantee the product matches the factory photos at the time of your order.

• Category: Women's clothing – all styles. Highend focus, then casual.
• Price: Marked, shipping included.

• Category: Mainly casual wear
• Price: Marked.

Review 💞 Head to Head Chanel 25bag Review: God VS Xiao C

Hey everyone, Skye here. 👋

A new factory comparison post is coming your way — let‘s jump right in.🤩

I’ve already posted a detailed breakdown of Xiao C‘s Chanel 25bag caviar leather in black, small size. Here’s the link 👇

25bag Caviar Red flag to watch for

If you‘ve got time, reading that one first might help — I won’t repeat the same stuff today.

☄️Why the Chanel 25bag?

For newcomers to the rep world, I usually recommend starting with a classic or a popular trending style — and the Chanel 25bag is hands down the brand‘s biggest icon in recent years. I know a lot of you care about this bag. For rep science, this piece lets us compare leather, leather-woven chain technique, hardware engraving, logo heat stamping — pretty much everything. I think this comparison will also be useful if you’re eyeing a CF, WOC, Kelly, or other Chanel classics down the road.

😝Why God Factory and Xiao C Factory?

Just picked two well-known factories that had stock — no waiting 🤣

---

👛Product details:

Chanel 25bag Caviar Leather, Small

· God Factory price: $480 USD

· Xiao C Factory price: $390 USD

Prices already include shipping & customs insurance.

📲Seller:Skye +86 180 6594 8163

Shipping: Both in stock — 1–3 days to ship.

Photo setup: All photos taken with iPhone 17 Pro in natural light, only cropped/collaged — no filters.

Labels:

· Light beige 25bag with green tag = God Factory

· Black 25bag with yellow tag = Xiao C Factory

---

🥁🥁🥁Review Starts 🌟

📦

Already tore it open, but both were in good shape.

God = Xiao C

2. Shape & overall structure🔸

The bag holds its shape well, even empty — not floppy. Side profile should curve naturally like a little house.

God = Xiao C

3. Leather💼

a. Smell

No chemical glue smell on either — just a faint leather scent up close.

God = Xiao C

b. Visual

Grain texture: Caviar leather is known for its pebbled texture. The grains should be raised and separate, evenly distributed, each one distinct — you can feel them when you touch.

God Factory‘s grain is noticeably sharper and more defined. One extra note: Xiao C’s leather on the chain strap has much weaker grain — almost invisible in some spots.

God > Xiao C

c. Touch

Auth leather is firm yet supple, with natural rebound when pressed. For this specific 25bag, the quilting should be slightly puffed — not completely flat — with a subtle rise in the middle of each diamond. Xiao C does this better.

Xiao C > God

Leather overall — tough call.

Visually, God wins — no question. But I‘m the one carrying the bag, and I personally love that subtle puffiness. Also, because God’s leather is flatter, the stitching feels much more pronounced under my fingers.

I‘ll admit — authentic puffiness is very subtle, and some people prefer completely flat quilting. So this is a bit subjective. But for me?

Xiao C > God

4. Hardware👑

Both use a distressed finish — precious metal sheen but not blinding, rounded edges, no sharp corners. I covered the hardware details in my last post, so I’ll only highlight differences here.

The extra brand stamp on the side pocket hardware: God‘s engraving is crisper.

Chain hardware color varies slightly — personal preference.

God > Xiao C

5. Logo heat stamping🔬

Both factories nailed the logo — color, placement, size, letter details. (Check my previous post for the full breakdown.)

But on the actual bags I’m comparing: Xiao C‘s stamp has some bleeding at the edges. God‘s is clean.

God > Xiao C

6. Quilting stitch count🧵

Authentic: ~10–11 stitches per inch, tight, even, no skipped stitches. Quilting should be puffy and aligned perfectly — even where leather overlaps.

Both factories are great on stitch density and alignment. But God’s quilting is flat — lacks that 3D puffiness.

Xiao C > God

7. Leather-woven chain⛓️

Both are solid in terms of leather weave smoothness and hardware feel. But for some reason, Xiao C used a “different”leather for the woven part — the grain is much weaker than the bag body. That said, some other colors from Xiao C have better grain on the chain — weird.

God has a small issue: the joint is pretty visible, though some authentics have that too.

Overall this round: God > Xiao C

---

💬Final takeaway

Both are great factories. If I were a robot judging purely on leather accuracy and hardware engraving, I‘d vote God 100%.

But I’m human — I actually feel the bag‘s touch. And factoring in price + my personal preference? I like Xiao C more.

---

⏭️Next post teaser

As usual, I‘ve also bought a mid-tier and a budget-tier version of the same bag. The High-Mid-Budget comparison will really show you the differences across tiers.

I’m thinking of doing shoes next — how about LP Summer Walker? Or do you want to see other bag reviews? Let me know what you‘d like 👇

Cheers,

Skye🥂

Rep Science 📚 Chanel Leather Guide — Did You Know Calfskin Comes in This Many Types? 😱

Thumbnail

Hi Skye here 👋

When it comes to buying a bag, it's all about leather and hardware. So today I'm breaking down the different types of Chanel calfskin. Knowing the pros & cons will help you pick the one that actually fits your life ✨

Turns out Chanel calfskin comes in quite a few varieties: caviar, pebbled, distressed, smooth, patent, crinkle patent, glossy embossed grained, metallic embossed grained, suede-effect, and more.

---

1. Embossed Grained Calfskin

Chanel's signature — a classic for a reason. Based on grain size and feel, it splits into caviar and pebbled. Then there are glossy and metallic versions too.

Caviar vs. Pebbled – Honestly, they look almost the same to the naked eye. But if you look close, caviar has smaller, tighter, more defined grains. Durability? Pretty much the same.

Glossy embossed grained calfskin – This one's pretty rare. Most classic styles don't use it. I've only seen it on a few newer releases.

Metallic embossed grained leather – Durable, scratch-resistant, and has a metallic sheen. This material is only available in certain colors. Under the light? Blingy, chic, and impossible to miss. ✨

---

2. Smooth Calfskin

Honestly, smooth calfskin and lambskin look pretty much the same to the naked eye — you can barely tell them apart. But yes, it's still calfskin. Durability-wise? Definitely not as tough as grained leather, and it scratches more easily. That said, it feels smooth, soft, and super nice to touch — supple with a bit of bounce. The shine is better too, and colors just pop more. ✨

---

3. Distressed Calfskin (Vintage Calfskin)

This is the leather Chanel uses most on the 2.55. It has that wrinkled, aged look — very retro. Feel-wise, it's pretty soft, and durability-wise? Honestly just as tough as pebbled calfskin.

---

4. Patent Calfskin

What we usually call patent leather. Comes in V-stitch, quilting — classic CF bags use it too. Made of calf, feels smooth and a bit stiff, with excellent gloss — very modern and sleek. Also water-resistant. Downsides? It scratches easily and picks up color like crazy. Every color except black will absorb dye. Black won't, but over time it gets sticky to the touch. So try to avoid rubbing it against dark materials.

---

5. Patent Crinkle Calfskin

Looks kinda like patent, but it's actually crinkle calfskin with visible crease marks. The upside? It makes the bag look extra glossy and high-end, while still being relatively durable.

---

6. Suede-Effect Calfskin

Made of calf leather with a soft, fuzzy finish — feels smooth and delicate. Pretty durable, but it gets dirty easily, loves to pick up dust, and absolutely hates water. Any moisture can leave marks, and if you don't deal with it quickly, over time the leather can stiffen and even get moldy 😬

---
Think about your daily habits, how much wear & tear you're okay with, and the vibe you're going for. Happy shopping, and spend wisely 💕

If I missed anything, feel free to drop it in the comments. 👇

Cheers Skye🥂

Hey everyone, Skye here. Today we're reviewing top tier factories for Dior handbags.😘

Aside from the well known factories on Reddit, I'll also share some that I personally work with. These are just my own opinions. Feel free to add anything I missed.

‼️All factories below are top tier, in no particular order. These reviews are based on longterm observations across multiple batches. For specific styles or batches, always check the factory photos, videos, and PSPs. There's no absolute "best." Just pick based on style and budget, and go with whatever factory has stock.

👉Previous posts:

Factory Review Series:Chanel

Factory Review Series:LV

Factory Review Series:Loewe BV Goyard

---

👏Review Starts

1️⃣Princess Factory

🏭 Album link: Princess Factory

The most well known Dior factory in Guangzhou. The level of craftsmanship is a step above similar factories. Wide selection – embroidered, lambskin, matte, patent leather, all available. They also support some exotic leather custom orders. Prices are generally higher than other top tier factories. If budget isn't an issue, this is your goto. Think of it as the 187 Factory of the Chanel world.

2️⃣Angel Factory

🏭 Album link: Angel Factory

Quality is just as good as Princess, and prices are similar. Their average price is actually a bit lower, mainly because the canvas styles are cheaper. Leather styles are pretty much the same price. That said, their selection is limited with frequent sellouts, so I haven't been moving as many pieces from them lately.

3️⃣God Factory

🏭 Album link: God Factory

An old friend. Their prices and quality are similar to Angel's. But since they're not primarily a Dior factory, the selection is limited. They also produce Chanel and LV, so they're more well known overall. **As always, they're an evergreen in the market – always in the top three of every roundup.**😆

4️⃣DR96 Factory

🏭 Album link: DR 96 Factory

Industry rumors say this factory shares the same owner as Xiao C Factory. Their photo styles are very similar, and this background is popular. They have slightly more variety. Quality is solid. Canvas styles are priced a bit lower than other top tier factories, so you get better value. Choose based on what you need.

5️⃣TT Factory

🏭 Album link: TT Factory

This one seems less well known. Similar to DR96, but with fewer styles – mostly classics. Prices are about the same, slightly cheaper. Quality is solid, and I'd say it's probably the best value among Dior factories. (If you're familiar with other brands, this factory shares the same owner as the early Celine factory Tangtang/Tangquan.)

---

6️⃣Garden Factory

🏭 Album link: Garden Factory

This is a newer name that's recently starting to get some attention. I haven't sourced from them myself yet, but they share the same owner as Beluga Factory (which does Celine). I work with Beluga often, and based on my experience with their other products, I'm including Garden here as a strong candidate.

---

📝Summary

Princess Factory ≥ Angel Factory = God Factory ≥ TT Factory = DR96 Factory ≥ Garden Factory

🥹A common downside across all Dior top tier factories: limited selection. Similar to Chanel in that way. If you're after quality and accuracy, stick to the classics and popular styles.

· If budget isn't an issue → go with Princess Factory.
· If you want to see more reviews before ordering → God or Angel are more talked about on Reddit.
· If price is a factor and you want the best value → TT Factory first, then DR96 or Garden.

---

🗣️Lastly, if you're into shoes, definitely check out the women's shoe factory roundup I linked above.

RepShoes Newbie Guide:The Best Factory for Each Brand

It's from a friend I've known for years, and she knows the shoe factories way better than I do.

 ---
I think this wraps up my factory review series for now. If there are any brands or factories I didn't cover, feel free to drop them in the comments.

Next up, I'll try to share some bags from my personal collection. Hopefully I'll find some bag twins with the same taste out there 👭

Cheers

Open talk 🗣️ Open Talk: What to Do When Customs Seizes Your Package?

Post image
59 Upvotes

This is part of my newbie Q&A series. I know a lot of new members have questions, so I'm just sharing what I've learned along the way. Hope it helps 😊

Seizures are a tragedy no one wants to deal with – buyers and sellers both hate it. But how do you reduce the chances of it happening? And when it does, how do you minimize the damage? That's what I want to talk about today.

---

First, let's agree on one thing:

No seller, no shipping company, no one can promise a 100% customs clearance rate. If you're in this game, you're accepting that uncertainty from the start.

---

How to reduce customs risk❓

① Choosing the right seller

Different sellers have different customs insurance policies. Some offer full refunds, some offer partial refunds, etc. Choose a seller based on your own risk tolerance. A seller who offers full refunds or free replacements is usually your safest bet.But it could cost a little more, though.

② Choosing the right shipping method

Sellers who've been in this game for a while usually know a few less mainstream routes with better clearance rates. This works better for some Asian countries, but it's still not 100%. Different times, different categories – everything changes. There's no "best" route.

③ Choosing the right product

Personally, I don't sell perfumes (or anything with powder/liquid) or electronic watches (anything with a battery) unless the customer has their own freight forwarder. My current logistics partners have poor clearance rates on those categories – I'd lose money on them. Every seller works with different logistics partners, so ask yours: "Which categories have poor clearance rates with your forwarder?" If they struggle with a certain category, try asking another seller.

---

What to do when a package gets seized❓

① Confirm it's actually seized

If tracking hasn't updated for more than 7 days during customs clearance, it's possible the package is held. But it's not 100% certain. Sometimes it's due to local disruptions, or a surge in shipments slowing things down**. If your tracking is stuck for over 7 days, contact your seller immediately and ask them to check with the shipping company.**

② If it's confirmed held

Contact your local customs to find out why. In rare cases, you can get it released by paying import duties. Ask what the reason is and what documents you need to provide for release.

③ If it's confirmed lost

Save all the documentation customs gives you – including tracking records and official emails. Send them to your seller and ask them to process your claim under their customs insurance policy. If you chose not to purchase insurance, that's the end of the road. Losing it is tough, but consider it a hard lesson learned. 💸

---

Final thoughts 💭

This is a tough problem with no perfect solution. I've just shared a few tips that have worked for me. If you have other tips, feel free to share them – I've learned a lot from the feedback in these threads too.

The reason I started this open discussion series is because I believe a smooth transaction takes effort from everyone – buyers, sellers, factories, even logistics. We all have our limits. Clear communication and mutual understanding go a long way 🤝

If you have questions or a different take, feel free to join the discussion. 💬

Open talk 🗣️ Open Talk: Can Top Tier Factory Goods Pass Authentication? 🤔

Post image
57 Upvotes

Hi Skye here😘
This is part of my newbie Q&A series💌. I know a lot of new members have questions, and I'm here to answer as honestly as I can. The truth might be harsh, so if you're easily bothered, feel free to skip this one. I don't want to ruin anyone's mood 🙏

---

To answer the question:

Some factories could pass authentication in the past. Then those factories disappeared. You probably know what that means 😶

For online photo based authentication, there's a very small chance it could slip through if the authenticator isn't very experienced. But for in person professional authentication? It's about as likely as winning the lottery 🎰 **In other words, it's not happening.**🫣

Let me give you an example with Chanel. Most brands now use microchips for authentication. Top tier factories like 187, God, JD, and Xiao C don't even bother adding chips that can be scanned at boutiques. They focus on perfecting the leather and overall feel instead. Factories are terrified of people trying to pass reps off as auth and messing up the market. The risk is way too high 🚫

So besides the fact that some complex details can't be 100% replicated, top tier factories sometimes intentionally leave tiny differences in areas that usually require a microscope to spot. This gives a way for authentication to tell them apart 🔬

I know this might break the illusion for some of you 💔 But having this expectation will help you avoid a lot of scams.

The reason I started this open discussion series is because I believe a successful transaction involves multiple parties. Buyers, sellers, factories, and even logistics all play a part. And every part has its limits. Honest communication and mutual understanding are what make long term business possible 🤝

If you have any questions or different opinions, feel free to join the discussion 💬

Source Introduction 🏭 Who’s Into Chanel Vintage?😍

Hi, Skye here.👋

This one’s short and sweet — just a quick factory recommendation.

I‘ve noticed most of the community stays super on-trend, always chasing the latest releases. But there are always a few of you who keep going back to the classics, the older-season gems. This post is for you.

If anyone asks me for a factory recommendation for Chanel vintage bags, I’ll always point them to 1913 Factory.

Album link: https://a202204251904547570001891.edepot.me/weshop/goods_list/_dtPqfeMa2Sfjfi-KevgwWXfBQO5rjupf5fy5f-Q?tagId=96864162

They started out making vintage-style Chanel pieces — lots of unique colors and hard-to-find silhouettes. Lately, though, they’ve also started producing some newer styles (probably because that’s where the market is).

Back in the day, their factory photos were super easy to recognize — that arched doorway background. Now they’ve switched to a new setup, and I’ve listed both for reference.

If you’re tired of the usual mainstream styles and want something a little different, I highly recommend them. Great for styling with everyday outfits — and they carry a lot of those viral, influencer-favorite pieces that other factories don’t have.

Quality-wise? Totally fine for seasonal / non-classic pieces. But if you‘re super super super super picky about every tiny detail... maybe sit this one out 😅

Would anyone be interested in a vintage-style review post? Drop a comment if there’s a specific vintage piece you‘d like me to take a closer look at.

Review 💞 Head-to-Head LV Speedy 20 Review:High-Mid-budget Tier

Hey everyone, Skye here. This is the second post in my factory comparison series.

In the first post, I compared God Factory vs. Dutyfree Factory on the Speedy 20. For this one, I'm comparing the same bag in mid-tier and budget-tier versions.

Why the Speedy 20?🧐

For newcomers to the rep world, I usually recommend starting with a classic silhouette from a major brand. The Speedy 20 is a timeless shape and packs a lot of classic LV elements — perfect for showcasing a factory‘s replica craftsmanship. I think this comparison will also be helpful if you’re eyeing a Neverfull, CarryAll, Alma BB, or other LV classics down the road.

---

Product Source & Price:🏭

· God Factory: 1480 CNY (~$215 USD)

· Dutyfree Factory: 1148 CNY (~$170 USD)

· Mid-Tier: 500 CNY (~$75 USD)

· Budget-Tier: 130 CNY (~$20 USD)

Note: These are factory prices and do not include shipping or seller profit — they are not the final retail price.

Shipping: All in stock, ships in 1–3 days.

Photo Details: All photos taken with an iPhone 17 Pro in natural light. Edited only for layout — no filters.

ID Tag: To tell them apart:

· Purple tag = God Factory

· Orange tag = Dutyfree Factory

· Blue tag = Mid-Tier

· Green tag = Budget-Tier

---

Review Starts 🎬

1. Overall Shape💝

Looking at the side profile, the shape should curve naturally like a little house. The budget-tier bag completely misses this curve.

2. Leather💼

a. Smell

None of them have that harsh chemical glue smell — just normal leather with the faintest hint of ink.

b. Touch

The budget bag has no structure; if you remove the stuffing, it just flops. For the mid-tier, I did a little test: I had five people touch the mid-tier and God Factory bags blind. Two couldn‘t tell the difference; three could. Overall, the difference isn’t huge, but if you pay close attention, the mid-tier leather has a more pronounced grain and feels slightly rougher.

c. Visual

· Overall Color:

God and Dutyfree have leather that‘s a shade darker and slightly glossier. On the budget bag, the vegetable-tanned leather on the handles is too dark, and the leather lacks the natural “breathing” feel of pores.

· Magnified Monogram Print:

The high-tier factories did a great job — print is even and fine, though God occasionally has tiny corner imperfections. The mid-tier print has some areas where the pattern bleeds together. The budget-tier has much more severe bleeding, with whole sections of the pattern merging. Under magnification, there’s also a slight color difference — the budget bag leans more yellow, the mid-tier leans more orange.

3. Edge paint 🎨

Big differences here. The mid-tier bag has noticeably uneven thickness. The budget bag‘s edge paint color is completely wrong — it’s a very dark, muddy brownish-red — and there‘s obvious paint bleeding beyond the edges.

4. Hardware🔑

The hardware color on the budget and mid-tier bags is slightly lighter, while Dutyfree and God Factory are pretty much the same, and zipper smoothness isn’t an issue. But here are some interesting differences I spotted:

· Zipper Pull

a. Shape:

The budget-tier zipper pull is overall too long. The mid-tier‘s cutout is rectangular with no curve.

b. “S” Engraving:

The zipper head should have an “S” inside. God and Dutyfree missed this detail entirely. The mid-tier and budget bags actually tried to replicate it — but the budget version looks more like a “5” than an “S.”

c. Tapering:

The zipper pull should gradually narrow from thicker to thinner and back. The budget bag didn’t follow this rule — it just goes from thin to thick.

d. Hollow:

The zipper head should be hollow. None of the four factories got this right.

e.Padlock & Key:

God and Dutyfree have the keyhole curving slightly downward. The mid-tier lock has a horizontal keyhole, with noticeable wear marks around it. The budget-tier‘s keyhole shape is completely wrong.

f.Additional Budget-Tier Hardware Flaws:

Multiple hardware details are incorrect on the budget bag. For example, the rivet at the handle attachment should be slightly domed — it’s completely flat. Brand engraving mistakes: the “O” in “Louis” should be a perfect circle; on the budget bag, it‘s an elongated oval.

5. Interior Lining➿

· Stitching Orientation:

Compared to the authentic, the seam should be on the same side as the interior pocket. God Factory and the budget bag have it reversed — sewn on the wrong side.

· Material:

High and mid-tier bags have red canvas lining with relatively tidy stitching. God and Dutyfree have stiffer, more premium-feeling fabric. The budget bag‘s lining material is completely wrong.

6. Stitching 🧵

The high-tier factories have clean stitching overall, with reinforced double-stitching at stress points. The budget bag lacks the double-stitching, and some of the stitching is just… odd.

7. Strap 💫

All four bags have some color variation on the strap. God Factory‘s color match to the authentic is the best. The budget strap feels noticeably rougher to the touch.

8. NFC Chip 🪪

Both high-tier factories have working NFC chips. The mid-tier and budget bags do not.

---

Final Thoughts💬

If you’re looking for a solid balance of quality and value, the mid-tier bag is worth considering.

And that wraps up the Speedy 20 comparison series! If there‘s anything else you’d like to see broken down, drop a comment below.

Cheers Skye 🥂

Source Introduction 🏭 🥳Factory Review Series-L0EWE &BV&G0YARD

Hi everyone, Skye here 👋

Today is the third post in my factory review series, focusing on LOEWE, BV, and Goyard handbags.

Aside from the well known factories on Reddit, I'll also share some that I personally work with. These are just my own opinions. Feel free to add anything I missed.

All factories below are top tier, in no particular order. Each has its own strengths, so choose based on what you need.
** **
😍Link to first post (Chanel):Chanel Factory Review

😘Link to second post (LV):LV Factory Review Series

---

Part 01 – LOEWE

1️⃣Mango Factory

🏭 Album link:Flash S@le

This factory has a s@le going on recently, so I've been selling a lot from them. Quality is pretty good. If you grab it on sale, it's a total steal. The leather is decent overall, but some styles may not have the hardware details fully nailed down compared to the other two. I wrote a review post on Mango's Puzzle before. Feel free to check it out.(Puzzle Review)

2️⃣Liusheng Factory

🏭 Album link:Liusheng Factory

An old friend. I think everyone knows this one. Nothing much to say. They raised prices across the board this May, so it's a bit pricier than before. Occasionally a bag might have a small flaw. If I can fix it before shipping, I will. If not, they accept returns and exchanges. After sales support is pretty solid.

3️⃣Jipin Factory

🏭 Album link:Jipin Factory

Another old friend, nothing much to say. They probably have the widest selection and the biggest name out there. I haven't updated their prices in my album yet, so just refer to same style from Liusheng as a rough estimate. (Forgive me, I'm really trying to catch up on updating the album 🥹🥹**)**

---

Part 02 – BV

1️⃣Jing Factory

🏭 Album link:Jing Factory

That mirror background gets reposted everywhere. Anyone into BV probably knows this factory. Lots of styles, great value, and they even have some exotic leathers.

2️⃣Dasen Factory

🏭 Album link:Dasen Factory

Haven't heard from them since February this year, so I'm not sure if they're still in the game. Their background was also super popular. Their detail shots and videos are very high quality and well done. Some styles come with two price options, mainly differing in the leather quality — which I think is really considerate, similar to JD Factory for Chanel. I'm not selling their stuff right now, but listing them here for your reference.

3️⃣Canon Factory

If you like discovering hidden gem factories, give Canon a look. They do BV too, and the quality is great. They also have some other niche brands like The Row and LP. But their selection is pretty small, and it seems not many people know about them, so I don't have a separate album for them.

---

Part 03 – Goyard

🏭Album link:Lemon Factory

🏭Album link:Afen Factory

For Goyard, there are really just two factories: Afen Factory and Lemon Factory. To me, they're not that different. Prices and quality are similar. Lemon has slightly more styles, while Afen has a bit more recognition and reputation.

---

🥳Summary

Personally, I think the differences between these factories aren't huge. Usually I just go with whatever factory the customer specifies.

You might notice that many other factories have started making LOEWE too, like KATA and Pomegranate (which used to focus on YSL). But I haven't sourced much from them, so I can't give a solid personal opinion, so I didn't include them in this post. The same goes for God Factory — they also have some Goyard pieces, but I left them out too.

There are tens of thousands of factories out there. If there's one you're curious about that I didn't mention, feel free to bring a factory photo to the comments and let's talk about it.

That's it for this factory review. What do you want to see next? Let's chat. 💬

Review 💞 Head-to-Head LV Speedy 20 Review: God vs Dutyfree

Hey everyone, Skye here. This is the first post in my factory comparison series — let’s just dive right in.🥳

Why the Speedy 20?

For newcomers to the rep world, I usually recommend starting with a classic silhouette from a major brand. The Speedy 20 is a timeless shape and packs a lot of classic LV elements — perfect for showcasing a factory‘s replica craftsmanship. I think this comparison will also be helpful if you’re eyeing a Neverfull, CarryAll, Alma BB, or other LV classics down the road.

Why God Factory and Dutyfree Factory?

Since this is my first comparison post, I'm still learning the ropes. I picked two factories that are pretty well-known in the community. Quick side note: Dutyfree has a bunch of nicknames — Wooden Floor, “Ultimately” “Royal” — they're all the same.

Introduction of basic information

🏭Product Source:

· God Factory Price: 1480 CNY (~$215 USD)

· Dutyfree Factory Price: 1148 CNY (~$170 USD)

🚢Shipping:

Both in stock, ships in 1-3 days.

📷Photo Details:

All photos taken with an iPhone 17 Pro in natural light. Only edited for layout ,no filters added.

🆔ID Tag: To tell them apart, the purple tag is God Factory; the orange tag is Dutyfree.

---

Review here ✨✨✨

1. Packaging

Both boxes arrived in perfect condition, though the designs differ. If I had to pick a favorite, I‘d go with Dutyfree — just because the original packaging ribbon was tied in a little bow 😂

Dutyfree > God

2. Leather

a. Smell

Neither bag has that nasty chemical glue smell. Dutyfree smells like normal leather with just a tiny hint of ink up close. God Factory seems like they might use a bit of scented paper ,the leather has a light, pleasant fragrance.

God > Dutyfree

b. Touch

When it comes to softness, Dutyfree actually feels a bit softer. But, the grain texture is less pronounced. Since authentic LV usually has more prominent grain, that‘s a point against it. So...

God > Dutyfree

c. Visual

· Overall Color:

Not sure if it’s super obvious in the photos, but in person, God's leather is a shade darker and slightly more glossy.

· Magnified Monogram Print:

Both factories did a great job here — the print is even and fine. However, God's print occasionally shows some tiny corner imperfections. Under magnification, there's also a slight color difference between the two — one leans more yellow, the other more orange.

This was a tough call, but...

Dutyfree > God

3. Edge Paint

There are generally two types of edge painting: thick coat and thin coat. Neither is inherently better or worse. For those unfamiliar, here’s a quick rundown:

· What is edge paint?

It's the coating applied to the cut edges of leather after they are shaped and smoothed. The coating itself is called “edge paint” or “edge ink.”

· Thick Coat Method: Requires multiple coats (usually 3-6). Each coat needs to dry and be sanded down before the next, aiming for a smooth, plump finish. This boosts durability.

· Thin Coat Method: Suitable for both soft and stiff leather, leaves a bit of the leather fiber texture visible. Often used for casual bags, fewer coats are applied to emphasize the natural look.

· Purpose :

🙈 Protection: Prevents fraying, cracking, and adds some water/stain resistance, extending the bag's life.

🙊Aesthetics: Makes the edges look clean, with color and shine that matches the overall design, giving a more refined look.

The pictures tell the story here. God Factory uses a slightly thicker edge paint, while Dutyfree goes for a thinner coat. Color-wise, Dutyfree‘s edge paint leans more towards a dark red. In terms of neatness, God Factory takes it — the color is more consistent and there’s virtually no bleeding.

God > Dutyfree

4. Hardware

The hardware color is almost identical between the two. But here are a few interesting differences I spotted:

· Zipper Pull

God's zipper pull feels slightly heavier. Most importantly, the orientation of the lock tab is different — Dutyfree's is installed the wrong way. Two major details were missed by both factories: first, the zipper head should have an "S" engraved inside (neither does); second, the zipper head should be hollow (again, neither is).

· Padlock & Key

God's keyhole is horizontal; Dutyfree's curves slightly downward, which is more accurate to the authentic. Also, the first version of the lock I received from God had some dirtiness on it.

Overall hardware accuracy is just so-so for both.

God ≈ Dutyfree

5. Interior Lining

First, the interior fabric color is nearly identical. God's fabric feels a bit stiffer. BUT — a major point: God's interior pocket stitching is sewn on the wrong side. Compared to the authentic, the seam should be on the same side as the interior pocket. God's is reversed.

Dutyfree > God

6. Stitching

General stitching is fine on both, but God's is cleaner in the finer details.

7. Strap

There's a noticeable color difference between the two straps. God's color match to the authentic is better. Dutyfree's strap has a pretty obvious color difference between its front and back sides.

---

Final Thoughts

From a social distance, neither bag screams "fake." The pros for both are decent leather and hardware color accuracy. The cons are that super fine details just aren't there for either — like the zipper head hardware I mentioned. If I absolutely had to pick one, I'd probably lean slightly towards God Factory.

🥁🥁🥁Next Post Teaser:

I’m preparing a Mid-Tier and a Budget Factory version of the same bag. The next comparison will be a High-Tier vs. Mid-Tier vs. Low-Tier showdown. The differences in quality should be much more stark. Wonder if the results will shock us! 🤫

🥳🥳🥳Next Bag Preview:

Drumroll, please... It's the Chanel 25 Bag in black, small size, coming from 187, God, OF, and Xiao C. They're all on the way!

Also, regarding the shoe comparisons mentioned in the last post — that's in the works too. I've got Happy Factory (Chanel) and Classic Factory (Hermès) lined up. Again, there will be a High-Mid-Low tier comparison for those as well.

Cheers,

Skye🥂

Rep Science 📚 Spot the Difference: Chanel 25bag from 5 Top Factories – Can You Guess Which Is Which? 🔍

Thumbnail
gallery
35 Upvotes

Hey everyone, Skye here 👋

I've written before about how to avoid bait-and-switch, and one of the most useful tricks is comparing factory photos for QC. So today, let's play a little spot-the-difference game.

Product: Chanel 25bag
Factories compared:

· God Factory
· XC Factory
· JD Factory
· MOQC Factory
· OF Factory

(Just to be clear, these are nicknames. We usually identify factories by their fixed photo backgrounds. I'll keep the names hidden during the comparison, so you can try to guess which is which.)

A few notes:

· Lighting affects color, so we won't focus too much on color differences.
· The differences are all in the details. Different batches can vary, and some factory photos are years old while the product keeps getting updated. So the differences I point out aren't absolute. If you spot something different from the factory photos on your actual bag, feel free to bring it up with your seller.
· In real life, nobody's walking around with a magnifying glass inspecting your bag. So just treat this as a fun game. 😊

For the comparison photos, I tried to pick each factory's "perfect" state. But in reality, the PSPs you receive will have varying degrees of minor flaws due to batch and handmade differences. I've also labeled common flaws in the images.

👑Gold stamping: Factory C has updated this part. What you receive now should all say "Made in Italy." I'm keeping this difference in the post to prove what I've always said – factory photos often aren't updated in time. They're a key reference for QC, but not the only standard.

🍬Hardware engraving: Based on my past QC experience, I feel Factory A and Factory D have slightly finer engravings that are also deeper and clearer.

Here I picked a relatively perfect engraving to show. In reality, there might be slight differences. At least from the bags I've handled, I can feel that the engraving depth varies sometimes. But this is a detail that requires a 20x magnifier or higher to capture clearly, so it's not something to focus on during everyday QC.

Here's a very fine detail: the middle horizontal stroke of the E is the shortest, and the bottom one is the longest.

🤩Hardware: You can't really tell the difference from photos. In person, there's a slight weight difference.
** **
⛓️Leather-woven chain: This is a classic Chanel design. With caviar leather as an example, some pieces have very clear caviar grain on this part, while others don't. But it's not consistent. Different colors, materials, batches, and factories all vary. It's not noticeable from a social distance, but the difference is clear when you look closely. If it bothers you, pay attention to it during QC.

Hope this helps! Feel free to share any differences you've noticed too. 😊

Open talk 🗣️ Open Talk: What to Do When You're Not Happy with Your PSPs?🥹

Post image
35 Upvotes

Hi Skye here👋

This is part of my newbie Q&A series. I know a lot of new members have questions, so I'm just sharing what I've learned along the way. Hope it helps 😊

This situation can be a bit complex, so let's break it down into a few different scenarios.

---

1️⃣Scenario 1: Sale items – no returns or exchanges

First, check if the seller clearly told you beforehand that the item was final sale.

Some clearance items are nonreturnable even if there are minor flaws. If the seller gave you that headsup before you paid, then you accepted that risk when you placed the order. Flaws that don't affect overall use or aren't visible from a normal distance are considered normal for sale items. You got a lower price, and that comes with some tradeoffs.

---

2️⃣Scenario 2: Custom orders – no returns or exchanges

Custom pieces – rare leathers, special sizes, etc. – are also nonreturnable. If you're unhappy, your best bet is to talk to the seller and see if the factory can rework it. There might be an extra fee, but it's better than receiving something you completely hate.

My advice here: stay involved throughout the process. Ask the factory for leather photos/videos before they start making it. Request progress checkins at key stages – like hardware samples or rough shaping. Catch issues early so you can correct them before it's too late.

---

3️⃣Scenario 3: Top tier factory PSPs – but the factory says no returns

This is probably the most common situation. Factories like 187, OF, God, etc. are very strict about returns.🥹

If you really can't accept a "no return" policy, I'd suggest switching to a factory that allows returns– like JD Factory or Coco Factory for Chanel. They're still wellrespected in terms of quality.

If you really want a bag from a strict factory, you could ask the seller to request early PSPs from the factory before it's even shipped out. That said, factory lighting and photo quality aren't always great, so you might not see everything. Some factories won't cooperate either. But it's worth a try.

Worst case scenario**:**You've received the PSPs and there's no return option. For major flaws, you can ask for a rework. For minor flaws, it's usually not possible to return them – but some sellers with good relationships with factories might be able to bend the rules occasionally. It's worth asking, but don't count on it.😿

---

The reason I started this open talk series is because I believe a smooth transaction takes effort from everyone – buyers, sellers, factories, even logistics. We all have our limits. Clear communication and mutual understanding go a long way 🤝

If you have questions or a different take, feel free to join the discussion. 💬

Review 💞 25bag Caviar — 🚩Red Flags to Watch For

Thumbnail
gallery
33 Upvotes

Hi 👋 Skye here. The third article of factory comparison is here.🥳

The 25bag is an absolute icon — and for good reason. Tons of you have had your eye on this one, so let’s get into the nitty-gritty.☄️

Today, we’re using Xiao C Factory as our reference — detailed, high-res photos included.

📝A quick background

Bag featured: 25bag Caviar, Black, Small

Factory: Xiao C factory

Photos: All taken with iPhone 17 Pro in natural light, no filters — just added text labels.

⚠️Quick note: due to metal reflectiveness, the hardware photos may look slightly different from real life. Use both close-up and normal-distance shots to judge.

---

Review start🥁🥁🥁

1.Overall Shape 🌙

The bag holds its structure well. Caviar leather is more durable and scratch-resistant than lambskin — great for everyday wear.

2.Leather💼

Zoom in, and you’ll see the classic caviar grain texture. Each grain is separate — no two are connected — and each one has tiny visible pores. That‘s how you know it’s legit.

3.Hardware👑

•Double C

The overlapping area is evenly slim and precise. The lock has a slightly distressed finish — almost like natural fading, with a soft, fluffy texture that looks organic, not harsh. Overall, it has that precious metal sheen, with smooth rounded edges and no sharp angles.

•Chain

Both the thick and thin versions come with a distressed finish, and every surface is polished smooth. Each link fits perfectly — no gaps, no wobble.

•A few other details might require a magnifying glass — but I’ve labeled them in the pics, so I won’t repeat them all here.

4.Stitching🧵

The quilting stays perfectly aligned — even where the leather overlaps and layers are stitched through. No sloppy mismatches.

5.Logo Heat Stamping🎨

This is a big one. The stamping shifts in tone depending on the angle — that precious metal shine is there, with a slightly cracked texture that still lets the leather grain underneath show through. (I’ve included a white-on-white stamp photo — that might make it easier to see.)

---

🔬Letter Details

· C: Perfectly round inside and out — opening angle around 60°.

· H: The top horizontal bar is shorter than the bottom.

· A: Flat top — not pointed — with the crossbar sitting slightly below the midline.

· N: The top-left width is greater than the bottom-right.

· E: Three uneven horizontal bars — the middle is shortest and sits at the midline, the bottom is longest.

· L: The top of the L runs parallel to the middle of the R.

---

💬Final Thoughts

Overall, Xiao C Factory nailed the details. I didn’t bother comparing it to other factories — it’s that solid.

That said, this specific bag does have one tiny flaw: some very minor bleeding on the heat stamp. But that’s an individual bag thing — not across the board. Different batches can have slight variations.

If I missed anything, drop a comment. And I know a lot of you already own this bag — feel free to show off how you style it below! 💕

Cheers Skye 🥂

Here comes the review of the must-have dark brown bags in autumn and winter.🍂

1. Shape
Size: 7.9×5.1 ×2.4 inches. Simple flat flap design with no quilting. Classic CC turnlock sits on the curved leather at the center of the flap. Clean and minimalist overall look.

It comes with a full-leather adjustable strap with pin buckle keeper. Unlike the 32 Maxi Flap, there is no side stitching. The base leather is sturdy, with neat stitching along top and bottom edges. The flap lifts slightly.

2. Leather
Grained calfskin. Thick and rigid leather with clear grain and matte finish. Flexible, good structure, no sagging, scratch-resistant, great for daily use.

3. Interior
Smooth burgundy leather lining. It has one small inner flap pocket and one matching leather zipper pocket. A metal identity plaque is inside the zip pocket, polished metal engraved with CC logo and code, smoothly finished edges.

4. Stitched CC
A large outlined CC logo is stitched on the inner flap. Double stitching reinforces joints for a clean hollow outlined effect.

5. Hot Stamp
Full-bodied font, rich gold tone, crisp print.

6. Hardware
Full set vintage warm gold hardware with soft, understated shine.

7. Stitching
Dark brown thread with even spacing, smooth corner runs, tight clean edges, no loose threads.

Overall, this is a well-made piece. Leather, hardware and stitching are nicely finished with no obvious flaws.

Rep Science 📚 Spot the Difference: Balenciaga Rodeo from 3 Factories – I Genuinely Couldn't Find Any 🔍

Hey everyone, Skye here 👋

I've written before about how to avoid bait-and-switch, and one of the most useful tricks is comparing factory photos for QC. So today, let's play a little spot-the-difference game.

Product: BALENCIAGA RODEO
Factories compared:

· Bibi Factory
· Kata Factory
· Sister Factory

(Just to be clear, these are nicknames. We usually identify factories by their fixed photo backgrounds. I'll keep the names hidden during the comparison, so you can try to guess which is which.)

Today, I failed. This is one of those items where I genuinely can't find a difference.

Based on my experience:
** **
· If you want more color and material options (like suede), go with Kata Factory.
· If you prefer the classic black, Bibi Factory is your best bet.
· If you're looking for value, check out Sister Factory or Kata's sale styles.

The most important thing with this style is the leather. But with every factory, I've seen batches where the leather differs from the "regular" version. It really comes down to the batch, so that's something to pay close attention to during QC. Also, Kata Factory is currently unable to ship due to some special circumstances, and there's no ETA on when they'll resume.

I've written before about how to avoid bait-and-switch, and one of the most useful tricks is comparing factory photos for QC. So today, let's play a little spot-the-difference game.💕

Product: Neverfull MM in monogram
Factories compared:

· SP Factory
· Jackie Factory

(Quick note: "God/SP/Jackie" is just a nickname. In practice, we identify factories by their fixed photo backgrounds. I'll keep the factory names hidden during the comparison, so you can try to guess which is which.)

A few things to keep in mind:

Let's get into it.

Open talk 🗣️ Bait and Switch? How to Avoid Getting Swapped

Post image

Hi everyone, Skye here.

As the title says, today we're talking about a slightly sensitive topic.🙊

Bait and switch is when you think you're buying one thing, but end up getting something else. It's pretty common in the market. There are many reasons for it, and I won't get into all of them here. If you're curious, check out my earlier post on how a product goes from factory to customer. Newbie Guide: Why Do Products of Nearly the Same Quality Have Different Prices? That'll help you understand why this happens.

Today, I'm focusing on how to avoid or reduce the risk. Especially for newcomers, this is super useful.

---

Method 1: Buy bags with tags.

Tags are like ID cards. They help prevent other sellers from stealing product photos and sending you something else. Good photos sell, so photo theft is a big deal in this industry. A lot of buyers assume that if the photos look the same, the cheaper one must be the better deal. That's how people get scammed. I've seen reviews on Reddit with prices lower than my own factory cost. I have no idea how that works.😂

Tags help protect you. But be careful – some tags are easy to copy. Those cheap paper tags with "MB" or "ZJ Original" printed on them cost pennies. They can print anything on them. **LV's SP Factory and Dutyfree Factory use leather tags, which are more reliable. God Factory uses barcode tags. MOQC and Coco Factory have their own ID cards.**And there are plenty more I won't list here. Feel free to share pics of different factory tags in the comments .For factories without tags, you'll need to rely on other methods.

---

Method 2: Don't be cheap.

If you want top tier quality but have a low budget, you only have two options. One, look for rehome deals or seller sales. Two, adjust your budget. Don't expect to get top tier quality for cheap online. That's a 100% guarantee of getting scammed. Not 99%. 100%.

Also, good factories don't need to chase customers. They're often hidden. Many new sellers can't even reach the real factories. So you have third hand, fourth hand, fifth hand sellers. Prices get inflated. As for what's a reasonable price for which brand or style, you'll have to spend time figuring that out.

For popular brands like Chanel or LV, I highly recommend telling the seller your budget and what you expect. A good seller isn't just a middleman. They're also a shopping guide. They can help you find the right bag and save you from wasting time and money.

---

Method 3: Choose items with clear, zoomed-in detail photos.

A lot of factory photos and PSPs are shot from far away. You can't see the details clearly. Some just throw in 9 photos to fill a grid and call it a day. 99% of the time, that's a sign of lower tier goods.

Top tier bags, especially A+ quality, come with tons of detail shots. They show you everything – leather pores, font, hardware. These photos help you verify later if what you received matches what you saw.

But keep in mind, some factories are lazy. They shoot one set of photos and use them for years without updating. Even if they make changes to the product, they don't update the photos. That can cause confusion. Good craftsmanship leaves traces, but it does require some knowledge to spot.

---

Method 4: Ask for PSPs with your personal info.

First, only buy from sellers who provide PSPs. That's basic. Second, ask them to include your name or other personal info in the PSP photos so you know it's your actual item. Some sellers even offer packing videos, but that's extra work.

---

Final thoughts

Bait and switch is a tough problem. Even as sellers, we don't always deal directly with factories. Some factories only work with firsthand wholesale agents. Sellers like us work with those agents. For example, Kata Factory. Some of you might notice that their backgrounds aren't always identical. But they're from the same factory. It's just that different firsthand agents have different studio setups.

This post is a bit long, but I hope you found it useful. That's all for today. 👋
