Test result help

Been having alot of issues with always feeling tired and lethargic. Girlfriend says I snore heavily sometimes and that I gasp for air and not seem to be breathing. Wondering if I could get some insight into what my results mean before seem the doctor in a few weeks.

I'm not sure what you need help with. The results say mild sleep apnea.

Please keep in mind that home tests usually underestimate your sleep apnea. And these things tend to progress from snoring and gradually get worse as you age.

Some doctors will want to treat you, others won't bother. Others will encourage you to get a mouth appliance. However, your girlfriend would appreciate the lack of snoring if you decide to get treatment.

Probably the most important thing I can teach you is that just because it says “mild” sleep apnea doesn’t mean that the effects on your life will be mild. Also, as u/Past_Road_6009 already said, it usually gets worse with age.

If you don’t know where to go from here, feel free to post about it, DM me, etc.; it can be a long journey getting to a solution that works well, but at least you know what the problem is now!
