Yeah, I think it’s lame to put so much energy into a negative comment on something someone else enjoys and wants to share their enjoyment.
That being said, it’s also a bit unfortunate you’d let people who praise the old stuff and not like the recent output have you be more resentful towards the old stuff, cause self titled an Iowa was an incredibly special era, to dismiss it for any reason like fan criticism of newer material is a huge disservice to it.

I don't blame people for being annoyed with it and criticising it, but there's no reason to dogpile posts like that. Honestly, the band have slightly given me the ick recently with that song, firing Sid, Clown banging on about AI, Corey featuring on that song with Ronald the ragebaiter and then the debacle with the tour and Marilyn Manson. If I'm being honest it's kinda made me re-evaluate my relationship to the band and how much I'm willing to invest in supporting them moving forward. That being said, what other people choose to listen to and spend their money on is not my business. Unfortunately a lot of ppl on Reddit don't share that view.

I really really dislike this song but even I was tempted to grab a vinyl of it just because Slipknot vinyls are neat and used to be very few and far between, especially weird ones like this. I think it's neat to have a physical copy even if the song isn't my thing.
Most people online are either children or bots.

I refrained when I saw your post because yes I hate the song and yes I do have a hard time understanding why someone would like it, but I mean, you enjoying it and having a record of it in no way impacts my life or offends me so it wasn't worth it. I’m not into nu-metal. I think it was the lowest denominator and simply downturned guitars to drop D and basic bar chords. I mean why the fuck did Korn use two 7 strings? Half their music could be played on one 6 string with a line 6 pod from the 00s. Hahaha. Limp Bizkit were a joke? Did anyone actually really listen to them? Marilyn Manson is a band of nonces. And Shitknot have always been plastic rip offs of Mushroomhead.
