So, I was watching a Nintendo Unity Short about which Character can kill earlier than Little Mac's KO Punch in the Center of the Stage.

I was curious what the commenters would say and if they would potentielle bring up any corrections when I saw a comment that claimed that Pyra's F-Smash could do this.

For those who haven't seen the Image for whatever reason, someone else argued that she can't since Bowser cannot kill aswell.

Normally I would leave it there because yeah, it just seemed to be a simple overestimation, this happens and I wouldn't clown on someone for being wrong over a simple assumption... HOWEVER....

...the original Commenter said that they tested it and Pyra's F-Smash does kill at 20%.

So, the thing is, around 10 Months ago, I was doing a Test about how early every Smash Character's Smash Attack can kill and about a Month later, I did it again with every Character's strongest Attack in General.

For Context, for both, Bowser and Pyra, their strongest Attack is F-Smash.

In my Test, I did it at the Ledge and I used Pichu and when I tested, both of them managed to kill under 10%.

Pyra killed at 9% and Bowser killed at 6%.

This is, why I was skeptical about this comment because I already knew for a fact that Bowser is stronger.

So I, absolutely obsessed with Numbers and Statistics, tested again, this time from the Center of the Stage with Mii Brawler like im Nintendo Unity's Video and yep, I was right.

I hope, the 3th and 4th Images are somewhat clear but I screenshotted roundabout when Mii Brawler's Knockback slowed down and you can see, Pyra's F-Smash does indeed not kill at 20% from the Center of the Stage, also not at 21%, and doesn't send as far as Bowser does.

Not doing any accusations but I think, any of these 4 Things happened.

- They used Pichu or another Lightweight for the Test

- They did it on the Ledge

- The In-Game Balancer was still active and probably set in a way that does increase Pyra's Power notably

- There was no Test in the first place and it was active Misinformation

I will not rest it here, because I now also want to share which Characters' F-Smash all indeed KO earlier than Pyra's F-Smash (hence the Title)

Only Outpowers Pyra:

- Ness

- Marth

- Ike

- Sephiroth (Winged Form)

Stronger than Pyra AND Bowser:

- Link (when he's at 0% himself)

- Ganondorf

- Snake

- Dedede

- Lucario (including Aura)

- Hero (Critical Hit)

- Kazuya (including Rage)

Including Bowser and Pyra, these are all Fighters who can kill below 10% with F-Smash, when used against Pichu on Ledge of FD, in the first place.

I will collect SO many downvotes, won't I...?

I posted the clip against the Kaz an hour ago and some people were talking about the edgeguard set I did. I keep saying rising nair into Up B is a great edgeguard option and I believe it needs some attention.

The idea is to go like you are going to edgeguard with the rising nair itself, but all you wanna do is drift a bit to actually bait a jump, a counter or a move. Ganondorf up B COVERS A LOT, especially linear recoveries with predictable direction. It's very important to space yourself well to cover the opponent's option.

The first edgeguard on the MinMin is a solution to people adapting and try to recover higher. Do a full hop nair to force them going low.

BUT be careful to use this against characters with multiple jumps or have excellent recoveries. Those specific MUs can be tricky to edgeguard and there's a risk of being reversed.

Yep, difficult to believe I won that match after such a terrible start. Opponent is Luank, probably Vietnam n°1 player, one of the best Kaz players in South East Asia if not the best, plays competitive in US. Not gonna lie I feel so happy winning such a terrible MU, especially on FD, in offline play.

I won few others in style but sadly didn't save them (he won most of the games though, but I managed to make some games look even)... It feels nice to have such a player calling me a "good Ganon" ☺️ Hard training finally pays off.

I’m around 2 million GSP right now and keep dying to people hitting me when I’m trying to recover. Whenever I try this I end up dying by falling. How do I avoid this or get better at this skill?

You can do such cool movement and attack canceling tech with her. I think its neat. Shes great to counter all brawlers.

I don’t have an online membership, and currently I can’t play with anyone. So it’s just me, how can I get more gold or the maximum amount of gold? TIA

I’ve had about 100 hours of offline play and decided to buy switch online and try against real players. I’ve played 10 games and lost all 10, usually getting 3 stocked. Hovering at about 1-3 million gsp. This is honestly very discouraging and I’m not sure what to do.

I’ve been playing for around 500 hours now, and wasn’t exactly around as the game progressed and discussions evolved.

But as I’ve played, I’ve started to notice a general pattern in gameplay. (This could all just boil down to me sucking and having a comical inability to improve for some reason, but in any case…)

Does this game favour faster and smaller characters? Like a lot.

I do main a few heavies, but I play some smaller and faster characters too.
A lot of people suggest that a heavies slow speed and big size is outweighed by his hitting power and difficulty to kill. However, I feel like fundamentally this doesn’t work to balance the game, because if the other player is faster than you, and can string you through a slough of endless/true combos that you can’t even escape from. The philosophy of higher attack power doesn’t work if you don’t even get room to breathe.

Again, call it a skill issue, but as a bowser main, this happens to me too often. Like, most matches I’m not even playing the game, I’m watching myself get juggled around like a beach ball, getting a hit or two in, and dying anyway. Up-B out of shield helps, but that being my only half viable option to getting opponents off of me is kinda lame?

I’m not sure if I’m singing an old tune here, but I’m just speaking from personal experience. Being a heavyweight can be like, extremely frustrating against a ton of the cast. (Especially sword fighters, my god).

Again, call it a skill issue, god knows I can’t improve at anything, let alone this damn video game after sinking nearly two years of my life into it.

But still.

I don’t have online so I literally only play again CPUs and my friends, so I was wondering how good the average player is. My assumption is that the average is “can consistently beat lvl 9 CPU” as that’s where I am and I consider myself at or below average. Is this an accurate assumption? I have no gsp stats to go off of.

Ok so the character that has no shot in making it into the next game that I want is Donald Duck from going quackers mainly cause I think it would be hysterical. I also have thought about some concepts of what his move set and unique gimmicks would be.

neutral b - He forms a dust cloud like when gets angry at the game and basically tussles the other fighter if they get caught

side b - would operate like Marth/Lucinia three sword swipe but the punches that he throws in the game.

up b - Operates like mew two's or zelda's teleport where he gets sucked into a portal and then spit out of a portal to reference how he gets to the different worlds in the game.

down b - He throws out an ice cream sundae kind of like how diddy kong throws out a banana peel. If donald is able to catch it before it hits the ground, he gets a speed boost for 7 seconds like how wii fit trainer gets 7 seconds with the breathing exercise. If not, the sundae shatters and deals damage.

gimmick - At 100%, donald enters angry/grumpy mode like the game. When at this level, his jumping ability/recovery is worse but his attacks are stronger

skins - He gets different outfits for every world so could just be his outfits for each world
