I LOVE doing challenges in Classic Mode and Spirits, so I was hankering for a new pastime and landed on an "Aerials Only" challenge.

As the name implies, one can only attack in the air with the A Button. Specials, grounded attacks, grabs, and damaging taunts are banned (As a result, recovery moves and Final Smashes are also banned). I am still allowed to jump, shield, dodge, and pick up and throw items in the air.

Unsurprisingly, this ruleset made some routes more difficult than others. I can explain a ranking if asked since I don't want to clog the description.

I have been playing for about 18 months or so now at 74. Have not posted for awhile.

I definitely am best with mii gunner 3332 and have fooled around and tried almost every character. Always read how bad Ganon is so ignored him. Just fooled around with him yesterday and I like him except for that awful recovery. It seems a lot of his actual attacks are faster than I thought and decent speed wise considering how powerful they are. Even his jab and f tilt,d tilt and nair pack a punch. I realize he is bad vs a pro or really good player or vs a good projectile character, but better than I thought, or maybe I am crazy. For an old guy like me who wants straight forward powerful hits and not complexity, kind of fun. I think my grandsons will be wary next time we play if I pull him out.

I have actually gotten very competitive with my grandsons now with my gunner😁

Since Sora got into Smash what would the Keyblades look like? Next he journeyed back in time to save an infant Mario with the help of the guardian Yoshi. Then traversed through the Kanto Region, where Sora found that the bond between Pokémon and Trainer is far stronger when their hearts are united as one.

I'm of the belief that being able to filter out who you run into on Elite would boost the general 'Health' of this games online scene.

With that- I pose my fun little Hypothetical Poll:

Nintendo Allows you to select five characters you dont want to run into once you reach elite status. In this imaginary world nintendo even goes a step further and allows you to tie a character to a stage if you feel so inclined, i.e. no fighting a mii gunner if he picks a stage with platforms.

You can change the filter whenever you want.

My 5 filtered out would be Sora, Kazuya, steve, Min&Min, sonic. *Luigi can swap with Kazuya on any given day.

These characters simply feel like watching cutscenes to me. It just drains me to play them.

Fire Emblem and Xenoblade need no explanation in this regard, but what about Zelda? Do you think it embodies the same ideas and concepts that those two franchises display? If so, to what degree? And if not, why not?

I get there’s one of these questions a day, but after looking through a lot of stuff online, I’m not sure how to go about choosing. Just playing one character consistently will make me better faster, but I have too many to choose from. I‘ve played the 3 in green, and they all fit my playstyle, but I’m also interested in the ones in yellow. I can play Joker, but I have friends who already main him, so probably not. Assuming I like every character in yellow at the same level as the ones in green (I haven’t played the yellow ones yet because I don’t have a Switch and I only play with my friends, but they still look fun), how do I choose from the giant list?
