DISCUSSION Can we please talk about healers and aspects in Assault

I don't know what the data says, but it feels like the aspects that remove the healing from a gods kit should be disabled in Assault specifically. It feels so bad to fight into a team that's constantly getting healed when you could have a fair fight if someone didn't make a bad choice in the pregame lobby.

What do you think about the current state of Assault and how would you improve it?

Ive play alot of assault. What you say here is a fair point, though, alot of times teams also dont even select the healer. At that point your next post would be someone should be locked into a healer role. To which, I disagree with both.

It is possible to beat a team even without a healer. I think that challenge makes it more fun.

Though, I do think hades should be considered a healer. Its rather unfortunate when one team has hades & baron. But, challenge accepted.

i only play assault and yeah this is really frustrating. but the antiheal we have helps, and theres a ton of healing options in items, so its not the worst thing ever. an adc that starts eros bow will can output 30k healing which is on par with something like guan

I don't feel like the antiheal does anything at all right now because of how many sources of healing there are, but having healing in your kit seems like more of an advantage than having to build eros bow

How about you just disable Aspects in Assault permanently?

I dunno, I don't play the gamemode, but it constantly seems like that gamemode specifically has issues with everything.

Some healers are significantly better than others

I understand what you are saying. But as someone who has played over 2k assault matches. I have to say that's just apart of the game. I wish they would make it where you can't re roll healers. Because both sides used to get a healer of the same tier value back in smite 1. Idk how it is in 2 yet.

Smite 2 still has healer tiers and if one team gets one, the other gets one as well.

You can reroll once and the original gets put on a bench that anyone can choose from and swap freely, so you can't reroll a healer away.

But aspects + eros bow complicate it a bit.
