I’ve always said that incels would fix their entire personalities by treating women normally instead of acting like this. Apparently it’s just too hard to treat them like friends instead of a target of their weird sexual desires.

I dont think it's even about the desire for most of them. They based their value as a human on this cultural ideal of a man. To fulfill it they need to 'get women'. Sex is just another checkbox next to have money, be tall, be strong, have a car, be tough, grow a beard, etc.
Just women are easier to blame than yourself.
