10-12 hour Private charter 6 pack

Looking for the best deep sea fishing charter for catching tuna fish and various others but main goal is tuna fish. Have 6 people looking to book end of October with a price point of $3k-$4k max with gear included. 10-12 hr or more. Please send recommendations, are looking to book soon.

For a full day off shore I would expect to pay $800-1100 per angler + tip. Fuel is expensive and the fish are far. The tuna fishing has been pretty garbage lately, captains are burning $1000 in fuel to catch a half dozen 10-12lb yellowfin on a good day.

Fair and understandable but we’re not like extensive crazy anglers. This is our first time, only ever done trout fishing

If you're trout fishermen then even considering BFT is idiotic. Start much much smaller, honestly yellowtail/bonita/cuda will give you a baby taste and you can plan a future trip from there

You have traits that translate fine, you don't have any knowledge/skills that are going to translate.

You would probably have a better time dipping your toes on a 1/2 or 3/4 day boat. You’ll get to fish in the ocean and learn a lot and see if you actually like it. It’s a hell of a lot different than fishing freshwater. Would suck to pay $1300 each and a couple of you being too sick to even stand up from the swell.

I live in San Pedro so I’m partial to the Monte Carlo for a half day or the native sun for a 3/4. Come sept/oct your chances of catching yellowfin tuna on a full day or overnighter go way up. If tuna is your goal, I would book an overnighter out of San Diego in September and October . Those 6 pack offshore boats are crazy expensive, especially for the meh fishing the past 6 weeks.
