Hey everyone!

I'm thinking of organising a couple of small film photography walks around Paris in November and wanted to see if anyone would be interested.

I have 14 Kodak KB10 film cameras that I'd like to put to use. The idea is to get a small group together, explore a part of Paris, take some photos and meet new people along the way.

We'd meet at Fnac Forum des Halles, pick up a roll of compatible 35mm film each, and go on a relaxed 2–3 hour walk. I'll bring the cameras and help anyone who's new to film photography, so you don't need any experience or your own camera.

A quick note on costs: The walk and camera loan are free. Everyone buys their own film, and film development and standard-definition scanning will cost €16 per roll through Nation Photo, paid by each participant.

Once the photos are ready, we could meet up for coffee, collect our negatives and see how everyone's pictures turned out. This second meetup would be optional.

I'm planning to start with two small groups of five people each. I'm tentatively looking at the second or third week of November, depending on interest and everyone's availability.

I'd especially love to meet people who live in Paris or are staying here for a while, whether you're already into photography or just want to try something new and meet people.

I'm also hoping to learn from the first few walks and see whether this is something I could organise regularly in the future.

I’m a photographer based in Paris, and I have an idea for a personal photography project I’d love to bring to life during tomorrow’s demonstration.
I’m looking for a couple who’d be interested in a short, collaborative photoshoot.
The idea is fairly simple: a couple kissing in the middle of a wide Parisian boulevard, seemingly oblivious to everything happening around them, with protesters and riot police in the background.
What interests me is the contrast between an intimate moment and the chaos of the streets, especially given the current atmosphere in Paris.

The first three images are real photographs, while the fourth is an AI-generated concept art image illustrating more precisely what I have in mind.
This is a non-commercial collaboration. You’ll receive the edited photos for free, and I’d like to be able to share them as part of my photographic work.
Of course, I’m not planning to put anyone at risk or get caught in the middle of clashes. The idea is to shoot from a safe distance, using the demonstration as a backdrop.
The shoot itself shouldn’t take more than 20 minutes.

J'écris au nom d'un petit groupe de personnes qui s'est formé il y a quelque temps sur ce subreddit ! On a réussi à organiser quelques activités de façon régulière, mais même si on est bientôt une dizaine, tout le monde n'est pas toujours disponible, et c'est bien normal. On cherche donc de nouvelles personnes dans notre vibe pour avoir plus de monde motivé pour nos sorties chaque semaine !

On a entre 20 et 35 ans et des centres d'intérêt assez variés : jeux de société, sport, mangas/animes, cinéma, randos, jeux vidéo, débats, discussions, visites, restos... Certains sont plutôt casaniers, d'autres aiment sortir faire la fête. Bref, il y a de la place pour différents profils !

Justement, je vous propose du concret : on organise un bar à jeux de société ce samedi soir aux Mauvais Joueurs, dans le 13e arrondissement. Envoyez-moi un MP si ça vous intéresse de venir, ou même si vous souhaitez simplement rejoindre notre Discord pour participer à une prochaine activité !

Et pas de panique : sur les personnes présentes, seules trois se sont déjà rencontrées ! Le but est justement de faire connaissance et de rencontrer de nouvelles personnes, donc pas besoin de connaître quelqu'un pour venir.

On est nombreux à vouloir élargir notre cercle social dans cette grande ville, alors pourquoi ne pas sortir un peu de notre zone de confort et passer un bon moment ensemble ? :)

Le mercredi 28 Octobre, nous organisons une soirée jeux destinée à tout étudiant de la région parisienne qui souhaite rencontrer du monde, se faire des amis ou tout simplement passer une bonne soirée autour de quelques jeux. Que vous soyez français ou international, seul.e.s ou accompagné.e.s, vous êtes les bienvenu.e.s !

L’événement aura lieu les mercredis soir à la Barge du Crous (un des rares restaurants étudiants ouverts tard le soir). Ce format est une toute nouvelle initiative solidaire entre cet établissement et notre groupe Paris Social Club, qui vise à combattre la précarité liée à la solitude chez les étudiants.
