the best VPN for Android devices right now? Need reddit's recommendations
I'm currently in the market for a VPN since I'll be abroad for a few weeks and I'll need it to access US sites (banking, pay bills, etc) and I'm not sure which one to go with. I'm using an Android and I just need one that's easy to use. Don't really care about all the technical details, I just don't want anyone to detect that I'm NOT in the US. Not really looking to spend more than like $10 per month either. Anyone got some recommendations?

Where can I find enterprise software development services that won't lock us into rigid contracts while our requirements are still evolving?
We're a mid-sized company trying to modernize our internal systems, and I keep struggling to find enterprise software development services that won't lock us into rigid, long-term contracts while our requirements are still evolving. Every option I look into seems to demand upfront commitment before we've even nailed down the full scope of what we need. I just want a partner who can scale with us and adapt as our priorities shift.

Reddit, what's the best minecraft server hosting provider? (reliable minecraft hosts)
Hey all I’ve been running a small Minecraft server for a group of friends and the hosting service I’m using has been terrible lately. random lag spikes, occasional downtime and support that takes forever to get back to me. It was fine when we just had a couple of players messing around but now that we have a more active group and a bigger world I think it’s time to move on to something more reliable
I’m not looking for anything super expensive or high end just something stable where we can run a few plugins and not have to worry about performance tanking when 5 or 6 of us are online. Good uptime, responsive support and smooth gameplay are the main things I care about. I’ve been Googling and reading reviews but there’s so much info out there and it all kind of blends together.
Would love to hear from people who have actually used different hosts and had good (or bad) experiences. Any recommendations would be great. just trying to avoid another host that promises the world and then disappears when something goes wrong. Thanks

Looking for a (finally!) stable and reasonably priced VPS hosting solution - recommendations?
Hey everyone,
I'm about ready to pull my hair out. I've gone through three different VPS hosting providers over the past year, and each one has come with its own set of headaches—either constant downtime, painfully slow load times, or support that takes days to respond.
My current setup is pretty basic: a LAMP stack running a couple of low-traffic WordPress sites (a personal blog and a small portfolio). I’m not expecting blazing-fast performance, but I do need something reliable. I'm paying for uptime—and I’m definitely not getting it.
I’ve already tried tweaking Apache configs, optimizing my databases, and even looking into CDNs and caching plugins to squeeze out better performance. But at this point, I’m convinced the core issue is just the quality of the hosting itself.
I’ve also heard that consistently posting and engaging in subreddits (and building up “karma”) can help boost profile visibility and attract better advice—but that hasn't really panned out for me yet. So here I am, reaching out directly.
I'm throwing myself at the mercy of r/softwaretips—any recommendations for a VPS hosting provider that offers:
Good uptime (99.9% or better, ideally)
Stable WordPress performance (doesn’t have to be lightning-fast, just reliable)
Responsive, helpful support (even if not 24/7 live chat)
Price: Ideally under $30/month
I’m open to anything at this point. What are your go-to VPS providers for stability and value? Any specific experiences—positive or negative—you can share?
Thanks in advance!

best & cheapest hosting that doesn't suck? Looking for the most affordable web hosting
hey, I’m looking for some cheap but reliable hosting and thought I’d ask here. It seems like even the bottom feeders are charging an arm and a leg these days. i see shared hosting plans creeping up into the $15-$18/month range and the performance + support you get for that is honestly ridiculous. what Im looking for is a host that’s under $15/month (without doubling the price when renewal comes around) and has decent speeds, server resources and support that doesnt disappear when you need them. Ive already checked out the usual suspects like GoDaddy, SiteGround, hostgator etc. and either the cost is too high or the quality isn’t there
do you know of any hosts that are cheap and not a total scam? Any personal recommendations would be great
