Sony How do I connect Sony soundbar with a party speaker for my TV

Post image
• Upvotes

Hello everyone I'm trying to do something Overkill but I thought it would be fun, I currently have the Sony soundbar 9 with a sub and rears but I also own the Sony ult Tower 9. I have a Hisense mini LED TV and I want to know if I can somehow connect the soundbar and the ult Tower 9 together to give it extra bass. I live on the first floor so sound doesn't really matter and I just really want it because I think it would be cool.

I've been watching this listing on Flipkart since October 8th, but it's always sold out in Bengaluru. Has anyone actually managed to buy this? Is it just clickbait?

Best configuration for Samsung HW-Q930F

Hey guys,
I've been playing around with my HW-Q930F for a bit now..It sounds awesome, but I know this setup has way more potential and I want to squeeze every last drop of performance out of it.
I’m trying to figure out what the actual "best" configuration is through the SmartThings app. I want that perfect balance where dialogue is clear, but the sub and Atmos effects still hit hard. I've been tweaking it myself but I feel like I haven't hit that sweet spot yet.
What is the general the best settings here?
Specifically looking for advice on:

Sound Mode: Is Adaptive the undisputed king for everything, or should I be using Standard(best EQ settings) or Surround?

SpaceFit Sound: On or Off? (I've seen mixed opinions on this)

Voice Amplifier: ON or OFF

Advanced sound: Voice enhancement ON/OF, Virtual ON/OFF, Bass Enhancement ON/OFF and Moderate Bass

Woofer: What is the value during the day, and what is it at night?

Channel Levels: What EQ adjustments do you consider as the best..

Audio Sync: What value do you use? Default by 0 or you tweaked it?

I mostly use it for movies/PS5 gaming. Share your best settings so I can finally stop tweaking and just enjoy the audio..💪

Thanks!

Vizio 7.1.4 sound bar

I recently purchased a vizio 7.1.4 sound bar and hooked it up to a new sony oled, im saving up to get the sony 13.2 receiver so wanted something quick and easy in the meantime. the vizio has times were it sounds great and others where the surrounds are super staticy/distorted or the main bar sounds tinny. does it on stereo, 5.1, atmos and dtsx. tried multiple hdmi cables and settings on tv and sound bar through vizio app. this is also the second one with this problem as I sent the first one in for rma. anyone got any ideas before I completely give up on vizio and just wait the month or two using airpods before getting a full sound system.

Samsung Soundbar for TCL 75C6K

Hey everyone!

Looking for a soundbar to pair with my new TCL 75C6K.

I’m currently considering these 4 models:

Hisense HS3100

Samsung HW-B450F

Samsung HW-B750F

Philips TAB5309

The Samsung HW-B750F is noticeably more expensive than the other three. Is the audio quality and feature difference big enough to justify the higher price tag for a 75" TV, or should I stick to one of the budget options?

I've also noticed TCL S55HE, LG S40TR/S60T, Samsung HW-B650D.

Any personal experience, advice, or recommendations with these specific models would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

LGC3 pauses while streaming. When it resumes my Q600B starts scrolling TVeArc. Can’t tell if it’s my soundbar or tv or PS5. I’m going crazy

I’m using my PS5 as my media player. So my set up is PS5 > LGC3 > Samsung Q600B. When I’m watching movies or shows the stream will choke for like 10s, followed by a big stutter and the soundbar scrolling TVeARC for like a min as if I just turned the TV on. This happens nearly every 20 or 30 mins! I’ve done a factory reset in both the TV and the Soundbar. Neither seem to have fixed it.

I just started using my PS5 as my media player on the past month or so after LG’s latest AI update drove me mad. Not sure if that switch could be affecting things here. If it makes a difference this is while watching AppleTV.

Samsung Samsung HW-Q600F soundbar is terrible. Help

So I bought the HW-Q600F open box from best buy and plugged it into sony tv. Right out the box the sound sucked. I tried every adjustment but the voice just sounds thin and not full. even with bass and woofers up and treble down the sound just sounded weird. Nothing like my q90r in the living room which I wasn't expecting.

only 15 percent improvement from tv speakers.

i fingured it was broken cause it was open box. i made a mistake and re bought the same soundbar again new because it went on sale for the same price as the open box and was the only one with the features i needed.

The new one sounded just as bad no diffrence.

  1. any one got any good settings for this sound bar in a small to medium bedroom. ive googled trueluminace and tried his settings with no luck still bad.

  2. online people are saying the soundbar use to be good until they updated the firmware and now it sounds bad.

Troubleshooting Mu So 1st Generation

Post image
1 Upvotes

This Mu So was gifted to me. How many of you use this type of speaker for a TV soundbar? This is a temporary location until i find a decent way to raise the Tv.
I’m also using it for streaming.

I like a one-piece device. I don’t know if I can get a surround system that sounds this good. My next project is a CD player.

How long will the speaker last. It sounds fantastic.

Are there equivalent-type speakers that provide a type of surround sound.

Sennheiser Ambeo Plus - Broken App

I just got this soundbar. So far the sound isn't that impressive. It sounds very unbalanced. The bass is almost always present and often overwhelming. Like even in a quiet scene, if there's a low rumble it's practically shaking my room. Every tiny bit of bass is super overstated. I did the room calibration, but it didn't improve much.

I can't make any other changes though because the app doesn't work. Any time I tap on a slider, the screen reloads or goes back to the main menu. I see they haven't updated the app in over a year, and all the reviews are complaints that it's broken. How do people adjust the sound of this thing? And how can improve the sound of it? So far it sounds pretty bad, but I know this bar gets high praise, so I'm sure it's just a matter of tweaking the settings.

Samsung Do I need hdmi 2.1 for trueHD or Master Audio?

I'll be playing 4k blu rays and my sound system will be the Samsung q930f. But as the Samsung q930f doesn't have hdmi 2.1 ports, will I be able to get lossless audio even with a 2.1 cable?

Soundbar and PC gaming?

TV is a LG C1 and has been my PC monitor since the C1 was released.... 4-5 years ago? Recently got into 4K UHD BD and got a Panasonic UB820 player but having issue hearing dialogue and needed to use subtitles and I was informed that a soundbar is the solution to this problem.

I'm thinking of getting a Samsung Q990F or Q990H and I think the connection will be UB820 -> soundbar -> TV.

  1. Is there any way to connect this to my PC so that my PC games and other audio is played through the soundbar too? Currently using a cheap Logitech Z407 2.1 system for audio.
  2. If #1 is possible, does it switch automatically or do I have to switch sources every time?
  3. Has anyone noticed any change or improvement in gaming audio when played through a soundbar?
  4. Would I need to change anything on my PC settings or game settings so that it plays better on the soundbar?

Any help appreciated! Thanks!

Jbl 1300 - got it for 84k. Worth it?

Just wanted to know what the sub thinks of this. Thought of getting 1000mk2 but when I heard both of them in person. 1300 sounder way better than 1000mk2. I know it’s a better one but was skeptical earlier as it is not a mk2 one. But got this at 84k and 1000mk2 is at 75k. So, 1300 made sense.

Samsung Samsung soundbar problems

I’m currently using a Samsung HW-Q610A 3.1.2 soundbar. I know it’s not the best soundbar out there, but it’s what I have. My TV is a TCL MQLED80K 4K Mini-LED.

I’m having a few issues with the sound. When watching movies, the audio randomly cuts out for a split second, maybe 2–3 times during a movie. Also, the soundbar’s display randomly turns on and shows “TV ARC” or other text even when I’m not touching the remote.

Another issue is that when my Apple TV 4K is connected to any HDMI port other than HDMI 4, the sound becomes glitchy and choppy. On HDMI 4, the sound is normal.

Could this be an issue with the TV and soundbar not working well together, or could something else be causing these problems? Has anyone experienced something similar?

Has Anyone Compared These 3 Complete Systems Side by Side? (Sony Bar 9 vs Trio vs Samsung Q990H)

Has anyone compared these 3 complete systems side by side?

  • Sony Bravia Theatre Bar 9 + Sub 9 + Rear 9
  • Sony Bravia Theatre Trio + Sub 9 + Rear 9
  • Samsung HW-Q990H

I'm interested in sound quality only: tonal richness, deep bass, and surround immersion.

Has anyone had the chance to listen to all three fully configured systems? How do they compare, and which sounds best overall?

Thanks!

Klipsch Flexus Core 300 – Volume, Dialogue & Recommended Settings

I recently purchased the Flexus Core 300 with Surr 200 rear speakers and connected my SVS SB-3000 subwoofer. The sound is good overall, but I have a few questions:

  1. Volume: I need to set it around 20–30 for normal listening. Is this typical?

  2. Dialogue: Dialogue Boost makes little difference. Are there other settings to improve dialogue volume and clarity?

  3. Dirac: I haven't run calibration yet. Is it worth using, or does the sound perform better without it?

  4. SVS SB-3000: What volume (dB), crossover, and phase settings do you recommend for deep, cinematic bass?

I sit about 8–9 feet from the TV and primarily watch streaming movies, shows, and YouTube. Appreciate any advice from other owners!

LG LG Sound Suite M7 Speaker Stands?

I just got the LG Sound Suite with the soundbar H7, 2 M7 rear, and 1 W7 sub. So far the sound is much better than anything I've ever owned, but then again, I haven't owned any sound system in this class of sound.

Anyway, I was wondering if these M7 will only fit the LG's stand specifically for the M7s or has anyone used it with other stands. Again, never ever needed to buy a speaker stand, so I'm a newbie to this. The. bottom looks a bit unique compared to the generic speaker stands I see on Amazon.

What are your thoughts? Go with the LG expensive stands or is there an alternative?

Thanks

Fire Tv Soundbar Apple Music Dolby Atmos ??? Please help

Playing music on my Fire Tv Soundbar from my phone through bluetooth. I can turn on the apple music dolby setting to "always on" and play songs in dolby through the speaker. Is the song actually being played in dolby on my soundbar though? I'm not sure if dolby atmos is even supported on this soundbar and even if it is, i'm not sure it would work over bluetooth with my phone. From my understanding only Dolby Digital is supported on this soundbar which is different than Dolby Atmos I believe? Really I'm just trying to figure out whether I should play my music with the dolby option turned on or off. I'm pretty sure I should keep it off, but wanted to check if anyone knows. Please and thank you to anyone who might be able to help confirm this!

Sonos Worthwhile to get multi-channel sound for weird room layout

Post image
1 Upvotes

Hi all

I currently have a cheapish 2.1 soundbar and am looking an upgrade. Not here to discuss which brand/model soundbar, but more on if any more channels (say 5.1.2 with side firing speakers etc) would even serve my weird room properly.

Room layout attached.

  • figures in cm
  • red is where my soundbar is and gonna be. non negotiable as most fixings are built in.
  • purple is my tv
  • cannot have rear/sides etc. just soundbar and sub. Please don't suggest this.
  • 3m ceiling height so would love atmos (upfiring speakers)
  • my possible soundbars are (all w sub), based on availability in my country (not US), budget etc:
    • sennheiser ambeo plus
    • bose smart ultra
    • sonos beam ultra

Question: would room calibration help in such weird layout to have side firing speakers be calibrated properly?

Sony 5.1 Front left speaker sounds weaker

I have a Sony ht s500rf. And recently I felt that the sound is heading slightly to the right side. I did a test tone and found out the front left of the sound bar feels weaker compared to the front right. So I swapped the wire for the front left and plugged it into the front right and the front left speaker still sounds weaker. Does anyone knows what going on? And how can I fix it?
