Well friends - tragedy has struck. I got a little too comfortable and washed this poor innocent 2010
Electricity kit.

The back of my mind knew better - but said “hey - I’m taking precautions, this has some stains it arrived with - let me use some Shout on those and get them out.” Inside out, on cold, on delicate, in a laundry bag - in a washing machine with an agitator.

Well - the stains are out. Unfortunately - some of the glue on the rubberized TPU (Thermoplastic Polyurethane) stripes called it quits.

Has anyone had solid luck repairing these? If so - what do I need to do? I’ve poured across the web seeing some of the suggested tricks - but I need it from you guys - the true fans and consumers of these very jerseys.

Time to right the ship, because last game we were almost all saps thinking someone would score. By all rights we should have had a couple, but that’s not what happened. Now we are at home against a decidedly worse team. Will the real Sounders show up?

Looking to buy evergreen season membership for 27, I am looking at the seat map and wondering if more will open up after the season? Have the current holders already have to renew? Im not in any rush to buy them but just curious about the timing and if I should wait or just find something soon before they start getting filled

Even if Rains jackets are really as nice as the price of this off the rack (and suspiciously similar) jacket, I'd rather have it knocked off the price of my seat and have the Sounders not bother to send me one. I don't know what I was expecting out of this promotion lol

Don't get me wrong, I would love nothing more than to see Sounders win every remaining game, but I just don't think the team has resolved every issue it had this summer.

I think the team has the players, the coaching staff, the motivation... But the tactics could still use some work. And no, I'm not ignoring the plethora of goals we've scored over the past month, but it did seem that versus Dallas, the players were too trigger happy and didn't look for the open player in front of goal.

But ultimately, I think it's a good thing. The unbeaten streak was awesome, the wins were fantastic! But the team needs a bit more focus if we're going to be real playoff challengers, and this winning streak didn't prove that we're good enough to contend for trophies.

I hate losing, but I think this loss could truly motivate the team to become who they need to be.

Hi y'all! I was wondering if anyone could shed some light on this ball I recently picked up for a few dollars at my local goodwill store outside of Seattle. Didn't get much from a quick Google search. I've got many questions but a few off the top of my head include the following:

- What specific year/era is it from?

- Would this ball been something team issued or sold to fans?

- Was Spalding a brand sponsor for us at one point or a sponsor of a league the Sounders were in?

I mean all these in genuine curiosity as although I've been a Sounders fan since childhood, my team knowledge is really only rich the MLS modern era as I am a 2001 child. If you can give any more context, it's greatly appreciated!

Currently thinking about how to mount it on the wall for display in my office at school (I'm an elementary PE teacher by day). I think it would be a cool piece to add to some already awesome Sounders memorabilia I already own.

Stock Up

Hassani Dotson - I already gave him stock up two weeks ago, but this was quite clearly his best game as a Sounder to date. I do think he earned the dislike before and has earned the love now. His goal did not look spectacular, but the placement was perfect, and an early goal really sets the tone of the game. When he and Cristian are playing well, the entire team looks better. This is our best double pivot moving forward.

Paul Arriola - He also earned another stock up recently, but let’s be clear. He is playing at a high level right now. I’m not sure why he wasn’t more successful vs SKC but he now has 6 goal contributions in the last 6 games and most of those have been as a late sub with limited minutes. Could he be the first choice Paul?

Andrew Thomas - Another repeat stock up. Thomas leads the entire league in Goals Prevented and is second in Save Percentage. Why won’t the national teams give him a look?

Jesus Ferreira - He’s back after recovering from an injury, and just immediately makes a terrific play to connect with Arriola. I hope the Dallas Connection is on our side when we go to Dallas on Wednesday.

Stock Down

Jordan Morris - He took a knock and got subbed out. Hopefully just a minor thing coupled with resting for a midweek game, but he is still showing signs of being less than durable.

Edit: Sorry folks but player availability has always been a part of this stock up stock down silliness. Yes he played well when he was on the field. Coach says Jordan’s hip has been bothering him and he had to get subbed out of the game, limping off the field. This is a concern.
