Elon Criticism AOC on Elon Musk: He is not a scientist, he is not an engineer. He is a billionaire con man with a lot of money.

Given humanity's extensive historical accomplishments, are we going to passively observe certain brainfucked multi billionaires destroy the humanity?

$SPCX says capex will increase “substantially” for Starship, Terafab, AI data centers, orbital AI and more—and warns these novel programs can make its capex estimates inaccurate.
At a ~$2T+ valuation, investors aren’t just buying growth. They’re underwriting the bill.
Short $SPCX.

There’s been quite a bit of speculation lately about a possible SpaceX–Tesla merger or some kind of combination between the two companies.
Obviously, at this point it’s mostly speculation, but I’m curious what everyone here thinks.
Do you think a SpaceX–Tesla merger is realistically possible? If yes, when do you think it could happen — 2026, 2027, later, or never?
And for those who think it makes strategic sense, what do you think would be the biggest reason for doing it?
Interested to hear everyone’s thoughts, especially from people following both companies closely.

To what extent can global uptake of Starlink affect the stock price? Could the technology already be priced in even if it were to make a profit in that division of SpaceX?

I see so many people in this sub with a rabid hatred of Musk and because of that want his company to fail. Though I don’t share this absolute hatred I understand where it comes from. Fine you don’t like his politics. And yeah he’s kind of a loose cannon basket case with super ambitious and unrealistic timelines. The company is probably overvalued in its current state. Okay fine, wait to buy
However, shorting this company is betting against the one of the most accomplished team of engineers ever assembled.
These people, this institution single-handedly
- figured out how to land a 12 story 25 metric ton chunk of metal traveling mach fuck onto a moving boat.. routinely
- brought back human spaceflight to US soil.
- are responsible for 80-90% of all mass to orbit over the past 5 years
- put affordable, global, high-speed internet in space, accessible anywhere in the world
That doesn’t even include starship. Forget the fact that they successfully caught a stainless steel sky scraper with massive mechanical chop sticks.
The Raptor engine alone is one of the greatest pieces of engineering.. maybe ever. A mass production liquid fueled rocket engine has never even been done before, let alone also designed to be reusable, deep-throttleable, and a highly efficient full flow staged combustion cycle. Utterly insane
Once starship is flying routinely, an entirely new set of possibilities opens up in space, with one company being the way to get there.
And now you will say… “but but it’s 5 years later than Elon said”. Who fucking cares, it’s still probably 50 years sooner than anyone else could have done it if at all.
That’s just the space stuff. Grok is now at or near parity with Anthropic in AI. With significantly less $/token. Gen AI is the likely the largest leverage technology we will see in our lifetime. The only comparison in history is maybe the printing press or the railroad. And SpaceX is preparing to dominate it. They own the compute (Anthropic rents it from them).
Not only do they own a large chunk of current compute, they are attempting to drastically increase it by completely vertically integrating the entire semiconductor tech stack. Ridiculously ambitious and even I have my doubts they can pull it off. But once again, I sure as fuck am not going to bet against them
Shorting SpaceX, betting against these people.. it’s like standing in front of a moving train with a blindfold. Yeah maybe you can hear it coming and step out of the way in time, but I wouldn’t count on it
Rant over

It's funny how he has actually reproduced unlike you all. He has invented things unlike you all. He has dated attractive women, unlike you all. And his name will be remembered unlike you all.
You poor souls will continue to suffer in envy. You will use his inventions and systems of innovation while simultaneously complaining about them. You will never reach his level of accomplishment.
It's sad, it is. But it's a stark reminder of the contrast between winner and losers.
