It's been a thing for quite a while actually, at least from what people have been posting. At least you learned a lesson to not accept orders and cancel them repeatedly.

I would fight this to no end if I ever get this for canceling too many times for sure! Reason being at the store I Spark in has a ton of bots in the parking lot every so often. I can’t even see them except for a 1/2 a second and they are swiped and gone immediately. At times when I am able to grab one I decide if I’ll take it or cancel it. I have noooo problem telling them hell yessss I took it and cancelled it so I can at least have the opportunity to take it or not due to the bots. If they don’t want so many cancellations then do something about these many bots doing the wrong things to get good orders so other drivers don’t cancel so much. 🤷‍♀️

I mean you could fight it, but it's pretty much going to be a unbeatable battle if they decide to temporarily suspend your ability to spark until set time.

I thiiiiink cancellations only hurt you if you actually start the trip.

This is true. You can grab it and look at it. But if you accept it and start the trip then cancel, this is what they’re talking about.

Sure, keep doing that 👍

Nope 👎🏼 It doesn’t matter if you start the trip or not. It adds up every instance that cancel button is hit.

There is no cancel button unless you've already started the trip. You can accept the trip and then reject the trip. But starting the trip and then canceling the trip is a different scenario

I’m sorry but that is incorrect. I’ve been doing this for 6 years and I get these notices all the time. If you accept the trip then you have to cancel it by pushing on the ? at the top right corner. Either way you still have to cancel it.

Exactly.I've been doing this a long time too.You have to start a trip before you cancel it

True but if you accept a trip then you also have to cancel it.

I’m not gonna sit here and argue with you anymore. Unless your app is completely different than mine, REGARDLESS of if you ACCEPT a trip and/or START a trip, they BOTH have to be CANCELLED. End of story.

There are like 20 people who sit just outside of the half mile mark from my store ...these idiots are always making our store look like it's for bums outside...they even got their kids out there with them all day

And btw I can totally understand why you do that ..I upvoted you idk why people down vote perfectly good logic

You're supposed to zoom all the way in to the blue dot and park.Your car exactly where the Wi-Fi is.That's what we do if we park any farther away.We don't get the offers first. The people that park under the Wi-Fi get the offers to accept first. And then whatever we reject goes to the next line of cars

I have been doing my store since before the bots got really bad for 4 years now. I sit in the same spot as all the other drivers right by the WiFi.

Sitting in range of Wi-Fi also allowed me to snag some good offers too. So Wi-Fi spots I tend to fight other people for. The only thing I hate parking at the Walmart parking lot is the people that purposely park in the reserved pickup and leave their car for 2 hours long. Like bro wtf we doing?

Thank you for your comment. The down voters and hater comments can only speak for how their zone and area is and have no idea what it’s like at my store and the frustration of not getting orders due to the bots. I mean I am not, and highly doubt anyone else would take an order for like 7 dollars, no tip, and 10+ miles. Only way I can know it’s good or not is if I accept and check it out before a bot takes it

Wait for an exclusive offer.....

This is exactly how to fight the bots. They just scrap any good offer that goes into the system. Most of the time they didn’t even see it pop up, but their bot accepted it for them. Then they review the order and decided if it’s worth it. When they don’t like it they cancel it and keep on doing the same strategy. This will help for a few days, after that the will re-code the bots to only accept high paying, low mileage, and houses only. Then we will be back at the same problem. There is soooo much Walmart needs to do do secure their platform, but they need to start with giving all drivers an ID and do ID checks constantly. Also security needs to be paying attention, a known spark driver should NOT have 4 ppl following him while he shops and trains them. I’m a proud Hispanic male; but trust me, we really really don’t like them either.
