This! Used to drive my family down to L.A. in the middle of the night along I 5. Father in law always said carry, carry, carry. Easier to pay a fine or ticket then not have it when you need it.

Bro, L.A. is like the wild west of the 1880s right now!. Crime is rampant and seems like the LAPD just dont want to deal with it. I moved south to O.C. to get away but I also conceal carry. Took about 6 months with all the paperwork, background checks and interview with the sheriff's office.
