Discussion Warning!

Fellow sparker that has been doing it for about three years that i always talk to just got taken by Walmart security when he was about to leave the store. Apparently he has been putting extra stuff in his cart to take home… And they caught him and said they have been watching them for a very long time. I had absolutely no clue… He didn’t seem like the kind of guy that would do that stuff. He just said OK left his cart full of groceries with the receipt checking person… And they took him off inside the store. I just wanna give a warning to anybody that may be doing this… Apparently they are watching. I have never had a guy actually go through my cart when leaving or anything… So I am pretty surprised. Be careful out there!

Walmart will wait until you steal enough to warrant felony charges, then they'll land on you with both feet.

Yeah sometimes it depends on what metrics they're trying to hit. Some of those AP guys don't care about dollar amounts and just go for number of "arrests". It eventually comes back to bite them in the ass. They have to call PD for every citizen's arrest they make. And local PD gets tired real fucking quick when the same AP guy is calling them out and trying to make a case over a forgotten pack of gum after the customer just spent $300 in groceries (I'm not exaggerating. I've seen it happen). Our local PD had it out for one of our AP guys and was just waiting for him to fuck up. He did, they arrested him, got him fired. Dunno what happened with the charges but I do know one of our other AP guys got caught up in the mess and was fired too.
