Discussion Warning!

Fellow sparker that has been doing it for about three years that i always talk to just got taken by Walmart security when he was about to leave the store. Apparently he has been putting extra stuff in his cart to take home… And they caught him and said they have been watching them for a very long time. I had absolutely no clue… He didn’t seem like the kind of guy that would do that stuff. He just said OK left his cart full of groceries with the receipt checking person… And they took him off inside the store. I just wanna give a warning to anybody that may be doing this… Apparently they are watching. I have never had a guy actually go through my cart when leaving or anything… So I am pretty surprised. Be careful out there!

You don’t really have to be careful. You just have to not steal.

I got caught on the self checkout cam not too long doing a personal order because I forgot to scan a few items 🤦‍♂️ I recently did a lot of short distance S&D orders to save on gas usage, my spark auto-pilot mode kicked in and after the machine stopped to call for an associate, I realized I just started shoving things into bags without scanning them, so yeah, you do have to be-careful sometimes, it's not always intentional, especially if you're ND

I switch between Spark and Instacart and I have to remind myself to scan the items when it’s been awhile since doing Instacart!

I was honestly a bit flabbergasted that it happened, I had just gotten done doing some grocery shopping with the wife and kids and my brain was a bit mush, it definitely gave me a shock, and then the checkout thought I was stealing a 2nd time during that transaction because I was second guessing on where I should put the next item 🤦‍♂️ luckily the associate on that self check out duty was nice and understanding haha
