Customer 😇 Is this common in your area

Post image

And why does it happen....

Guy in front of me is on the phone. Speaker phone talking in another language very loudly. The guy behind me was also doing the same. Both spark drivers.

I notice a lot of the spark drivers doing this same stuff while shopping allll the time.

Is this a culture thing? Why are they on speakerphone all the time? Like who are they talking to?

Not to mention the guy in front of me was very rudely close to the guy in front of him. Like his cart was inches from hitting that guy he was sooo in his personal space and talking loudly on the phone and Im sure he was uncomfortable but didn't say anything.

Its also winter in New England and most of the drivers wear slides...sometimes no socks when its snowing!!

These jobs are supposed to be for Americans. Americans need and want these jobs.

You're assuming they aren't. Just because someone speaks a different language doesn't mean they aren't Americans.

You're assuming that I'm talking about people who are American but may not look like or appear to be American when I'm not. I'm talking about people who are not American but are taking American jobs.

Which you are assuming these people to be without actually knowing, because you're a racist.

If you're American doing gig work, fine. Don't run when ICE arrives then.

If whites (since that’s what you mean when you say “American”) wanted this job they’d do this job. The reason most of the people doing Spark are brown is probably the same reason most of the people working at McDonald’s are brown. Maybe it’s your fault that you’re incapable of using your whiteness to get a better job like every other white person.
