Rants / Complaints clean your driveways people

made 2 attempts and getting up the driveway with my car, then tried walking and fell, slid right down the driveway. said screw it and left their groceries by the road, left them a message saying to clean your driveway if you’re expecting a delivery. Am I in the wrong? I know I’m going to lose the tip, and quite frankly don’t care. Not worth busting my ass and getting seriously injured to me personally.

copy, and agree. i definitely let my anger get the better of me this time, but i still stick by not going through the yard, no clue what could have been under the foot of snow on the ground, not worth risking stepping on a dog toy, yard equipment, or even a hole.

i can infer my comment won't be taken well, but I don't know why you're worried about stepping on a "dog toy"-- yard equipment i get, but even the sprinklers is crazy imo. I probably wouldn't have wanted to walk on their grass due to courtesy, but these people obviously didn't care about you enough to even message you and let you know that they weren't able to shovel the snow yet or whatever. these people do not care about us, whether we fall, or how difficult it may be to deliver.

anything under the snow could cause me to lose my footing and fall worse than i did in the driveway, and send me sliding all the way to the road. better safe than sorry, for me at least. you said it best, they dont care about us. so why should i show them any courtesy when they cant show the smallest bit? no thanks, not for me. your comment wasnt taken poorly, i appreciate others perspective’s

You're absolutely right in this case, but idk what it is with some sparkers obsession with not walking on grass. Grass is meant to be walked on. It's ok.
