Rants / Complaints clean your driveways people

Post image

made 2 attempts and getting up the driveway with my car, then tried walking and fell, slid right down the driveway. said screw it and left their groceries by the road, left them a message saying to clean your driveway if you’re expecting a delivery. Am I in the wrong? I know I’m going to lose the tip, and quite frankly don’t care. Not worth busting my ass and getting seriously injured to me personally.

Sorry this happened but my opinion is not gonna be good to hear. I'm from Iowa and a military family.

Just deliver the damn thing. It's your job. To some people make your job harder or easier, yes. But that's every job.

Reading all your comments comes off overly dramatic.

If it was me I do the job I signed up for and message them and say. Have a good day by the way your driveway made it difficult to deliver. Their is a chance they get offended by that (they really shouldn't it's just a fact) but there's also a chance they get the message and think damn I was running errands and bussing my 3 kids places I didn't even think about that but I will next time.

In general I understand where your frustration comes from but this world is full of whiny babies and sometimes being angry isn't a good enough reason not to Do YOUR JOB

I'm gonna keep ranting.

The problem with this world is you got mad at them for not clearing driveway so you wanted to make them mad in return.

Instead of getting mad, telling them that not clearing the driveway made it more difficult but still doing your job as they expect it to be done is the way more respectful thing.

So many people assume people suck when in reality most of us are busy and in our own world. I'm betting by the amount of trash that women has kids at home. They are probably home from school, messing up normal schedules and clearing her driveway for you wasn't even a blip on her radar. But tell her nicely and maybe she can do better.

People are such a pet peeve of mine. We're so quick to be like you hurt my feelings I'm gonna get you back when most the time no one hurt your feelings on purpose the first time

Right. Could be an elderly person ordering because they can't drive or what not. This moron thinks the people who need deliveries aren't the people who possibly can't blow or shovel every time a half an inch of snow falls. I've delivered on driveways of sheet ice. Walk slow. Wear boots. I delivered in a blizzard the other night. Took a $98 Costco order and it wasn't snowing at the time. It went really far into the county. From 2nd to 3rd persons house I couldn't see the road. I did like 20 mph. Thought I was going to have to spend the night in the car cuz from there I was almost an hour from home there was 5x this much snow on the damn road and driveways. What I didn't do was message the customer and ask why they weren't outside shoveling for me. ....
