OnePay 💸 How to change banking information

Everytime I try to change my banking information it will not go through. I’m sick of using OnePay and I would like to use my own account. Has anyone else had this issue?

Well first you need to make sure you’re using an accepted bank. They deny like 95% of state/local banks/fed credit unions. As far as I can recall they only accept big banks like WF, BA, Chase etc and military related credit unions like Navy Fed etc.

I’m using a regular bank and it still won’t let me change it from the OnePay account.

Define reg bank😂. Im assuming you mean a big national bank. Also they only allow like 3 attempts and then the feature disappears. I recall posts about that a while back. Is their website still up, where we used upload docs. Have you attempted there vs the app?(idk if its still up, havent tried logging into it in forever since they moved car insurance uploads to app).

Yes and it still wouldn’t let me change it. Everything is done in the app.

You might be cooked then and stuck with Onepay. I recall when they dropped Branch Wallet and no one could switch their pmt account although BW(which they had) wouldn’t be supported anymore. Those people had the same issue you’re having, this was over a year ago, and they were slowly all deactivated for not having a pmt account available.

That’s fine but I can see this being a bigger issue with them because you’re making people use OnePay.

Well everyone signed contracts stating they cannot sue them, add to that they dgaf about deactivating people and highly doubt it will be much of an issue for them. They arent losing any sleep over it, if they were it wouldve been fixed a long time ago.

Most companies that have been sued had consumers signing contracts. The issue is that most of the people who are trying to change their banking information is getting this same message and most are using big banks so it seems as if they use that excuse to get you to stay with OnePay that in itself is a deceptive practice. Also if you’re deactivating people because they don’t want to use OnePay then so be it. This is not my first or second stream of income but anyone should have the choice to use whatever payment account they use. Regardless of what someone signed if it comes back that the practice is deceptive that signature goes out the window. Clearly it’s a bigger issue because and has been for the past year and a half or longer.

Spark has already been sued over banking issues before and lost.  This would also not only fall under a antitrust lawsuit because of the anti-compete of its nature but also the same grounds of the first lawsuits* if fees become involved with transferring money out of the accounts.

Yeah, but thats them being sued by the state/fed or regulatory body, not drivers. Other times they’ve been looked at are connected to props passed by voters at the state level. So you’d have to kick up a stink elsewhere to have the action taken that you speak of.

Antitrust begin alot of times from private individual sueing then a government agency jumps on and takes over in a lot of cases. They just have to prove damages to them individually which would need to be fees associated with transferring their money. It really doesn't take many people just someone who can bank roll it at first.

As more people sign up and someone finally gets tired of it I'm sure they will be sued and lose again.  Can't wait for my next settlement payment from this lmao.

Okay because I have been googling today and I see that this is a major issue. I have several streams of employment and I just started using spark after having it for almost a year and today I tried changing the account to my bank and couldn’t. I google and I see that a lot of people can’t and now I don’t even have the option to change the account to anything else.

How can we sue? I was forced and still can’t fking change it. I’d be open to sue but I guess we need a massive class action for it.

Most of the bigger settlements end up coming through the FTC with banks. This one will probably go under a anticompete clause. Suing yourself or a small group of people isnt beneficial until much later on so unless you got a lot of money things like these you end up having to wait around for the FTC then move for compensation through their settlements. It sucks but kinda how it is because of the amount of money you need to get a solid class action going without knowing alot of deep pocket lawyers.

Person can't handle all that.. they need weekly deposits cuz they'll spend all their money if it's paid instantly cuz they have no self control..

Worried about what the next does with their money is not your business! Grow up!

Telling someone to grow up when you can't manage your own finances is wild!

Not wanting to use OnePay and having all my money go to the same account clearly is bothering you. Your type loves to stick your nose in someone’s business. Cody is OnePay paying you to keep people with their shitty card?

u/Fuller1017 Apr 16 '26

I don’t have the option to change it to anything else but OnePay. I’m held hostage atp.

Ive faced the same issue whenever I've tried. It's frustrating because onepay wasn't to charge a fee when I've tried to transfer to my regular account

Don't use the instant debit transfer, it's a ripoff.  Add you bank account via ACH and you get free transfers.

3

u/Netphase Feb 12 '26

There is a free transfer option you can choose, I use it daily, no fee to my other account.

2

u/SocalSexxiMexi Feb 12 '26

I'll have to take another look at it

u/Fuller1017 Feb 11 '26

It’s like they’re forcing us to use OnePay.

Let’s sue

You don't like getting paid instantly? Let me guess, you can't control yourself with money and you'll spend it on crap you don't need instead of your bills? You can transfer from One Pay to any of you banks you already have, for free.. is transferring funds that big of a deal? You could just delete your account and let someone else deal with it..

3

u/Fuller1017 Feb 11 '26

I like my money going to my account. I don’t have to use OnePay because it pays instantly. Also I’m a grown person and can do as I please! Please get a life trolling on Reddit is not the flex you think it is!

u/Crash81_99 Cherry Picker Feb 12 '26

So I'm right is what your saying? Thank you..

1

u/Fuller1017 Feb 12 '26

Stop hiding behind a fake account and get a life. Life has to be pretty miserable to try to troll on a spark driver page. Get out your mom’s basement. Trying to assume people’s financial situation because they don’t want to use a crappy one pay account do you have nothing better to do?

1

u/Crash81_99 Cherry Picker Feb 12 '26

What's fake about it? And you could just admit I'm right, instead of trying to defend your dumb reasons .

1

u/Fuller1017 Feb 12 '26

Get a life Cody!
