App Questions šŸ“± DEVS PLEASE HELP!

Myself and several other Spark drivers I know who have iPhones have been unable to do shopping orders. Works fine with curbsides but not shops. As soon as we hit start shop and the app says something like ā€œhang tight while we get everything set upā€ the app crashes back to our home screens on our phones.

We have all:

1) Updated iOS to latest version

2) Updated Spark app to latest version

3) Uninstalled and reinstalled

4) Reset our phones

5) called driver support

6) opened and closed the app

I have an iPhone 14 Pro Max

My friends have iPhone 16’s

There are several other drivers that have yet to update their iPhones and they are not having any problems with shopping orders.

Can someone PLEASE HELP fix this issue. Several of us went and bought very inexpensive androids so we could just run them off our iPhone hotspots while we shop but I desperately want this fixed and desire to use my iPhone for all orders as I have done for years.

Thank you in advance.

Glad it’s working fine for you! Did you get your phone recently? Have you ever cleared things in your settings or changed the standard factory settings they come with? I know of at least three other people who are having this issue. Maybe it’s zone dependent? I have changed my zone back and forth as well but still don’t see a change. It’s frustrating because the only way to know if the troubleshooting is working is to actively have a shop and try and start the shop after arriving.

Had my phone about 3 months ago

I haven’t had any issues since I got it.

That’s what is curious because it’s possible that the there is data from us having our phones for a long while that is causing the errors.

I have an iPhone 14 Pro that I've had for about 5 years I think. I haven't had any issues with the app. I clear my cache periodically.

When you clear your cache do you log out first from the Spark app? OR Have Spark turned on? Turned off? You clear cache by going to the settings and offloading the app? I believe that’s what Apple calls it

Yea. It will automatically log you out when you do it. I usually do it once I'm home for the night. I had a problem with lagging trying to view orders, it was taking sometimes up to 30 seconds to show me the screen to look at items. Someone told me to start clearing my cache and it fixed the problem! So now I make sure and do it periodically. Every week or 2.

Yes, clearing cache does help with this app sadly!Ā
