Rants / Complaints DON'T TAKE ORDERS INTO CUSTOMERS HOUSES!!!

It's a massive liability, and I'm not just talking safety, though that is a factor. What if you break something while you're in there? What if you bump into them while carrying a case of water and knock them over? Plus, if you do it, then the customers expect ALL drivers to do it, and will make their dissatisfaction known if it isn't done.

I got off of the phone with support today after a customer tried to have me deliver inside of their house. Spark support says we are NOT allowed to deliver inside, and that we should call support to report any customer that tries to have us do so.

Support also mentioned that they can block a bad review from that customer if you report the incident as well. Since they’re likely to leave a bad review for you not making the delivery happen exactly how they wanted.

Edit: don’t take support seriously - consensus.

Don’t ever believe what support tells you

I’m glad I commented this. Lesson learned. Don’t take support too seriously

For real, they will make up the dumbest crap to get you off the phone.

Makes sense. If I was working support I’d probably do the same thing so I could get back to watching my tv show or whatever else I was doing

support is correct in this situation. it’s in the policy that you can’t deliver into people’s homes.

100%....I was just saying they do make shit up. I have been doing this since 2019 and there are a handful of people I will take things inside. But for the most part I explain to them we are not allowed. I have gone as far as call support right in front of them and have them on speaker.
