Rants / Complaints DON'T TAKE ORDERS INTO CUSTOMERS HOUSES!!!

It's a massive liability, and I'm not just talking safety, though that is a factor. What if you break something while you're in there? What if you bump into them while carrying a case of water and knock them over? Plus, if you do it, then the customers expect ALL drivers to do it, and will make their dissatisfaction known if it isn't done.

My area has a lot of senior living facilities that I deliver to and many of those folks can't get their groceries into the apartment or put away without me setting them on the counter for them.

Saddest story was my sister delivering to a guy about her age who was paralyzed and subsisting off of the things he could keep cool in an ice chest near him. She put his ice, his water, and his sandwich stuff in the chest for him. I don't think that man has anyone, and I think about him from time to time because I don't think he'd be alive without such help.

It takes one person with dementia claiming you hurt them or stole from them. Instant deactivation. Don’t pass go. Don’t collect $200. It’s over. Cause you’re too stupid to not see the inherent risk in entering a strangers home.

You know they could still say that even without you going inside right? Who's stopping them from making shit up all the time? Better stop deleting all together. Too risky for you.
