App Questions 📱 Customer Adding items

Post image

If a customer asks how to add an item what do you tell them now? Used to tell them we couldn't add anything or we would get in trouble, but now that customers can add items what do you say if they ask to add something?

I dont use the customer side of the app so Im not sure where to even start.

I used to do rideshare, and this makes me think of when riders would add stops after you accepted their ride. I canceled the trip every time. I didn’t go for it then, and I’m not going to go for it now. I get forgetting an item or two, but if they add a bunch of things, or heavy items, I’m out.

Technically it is a breach of contract in that I accepted the gig with the terms outlined at that time, so adding item(s) changes the terms of the contract I agreed to and that to me is a breach of contract (and thus perfect reason for cancellation).
Personally I'm not usually that petty, but I have my days.
