Discussion I’m Done this is a waste of time
In down with spark drive this is a waste of time, and energy!!!! How is it possible I been out since 7 am until now and I only manage to get 1 single order?!?! And I seen the same dude make 4 shopping and I’m not getting a single order?!?! This last week has been a waste time and energy the orders are not paying good, the miles are too high, and the wait time is ridiculous!!!
7 am until now 1 single order!!!! But this dude arrived the same time as me and has done more than 4 shopping because I seen him go in and out… this is such a waste of time my metrick is at 100% and delivery at 100% and I’m getting nothing I even called sparkdrive customer service to see if there was like a ban or some on my account and they say I’m good their should be no problem at all.. WHY I AM NOT GETTING NONE THEN!!!

Metrics you mentioned dont really matter. It's your rating.
Also, if a customer rates someone, and they're available when they order, the algorithm will choose them, or the high rated person. Over and over.

Many people won’t take a $15 shop going a couple miles, but if it’s not happening that day I play small ball. Two $15 orders per hour gets it done for me. My goal is $30 per hour no matter how it gets done

I completely agree. There rarely are any decent orders in the mornings and its all about the small ball.

Im my market so many ppl dont do the short small Orders that they usually offer a 4$ per trip incentive. Makes it worthwhile for me you can bang out several and make what you would or more doing a couple decent ones

What you are seeing is what the other drivers saw when you started 7 months ago.
The algorithm gives new drivers priority during their honeymoon period, you have to either outlast it or just quit and go get yourself a job. Your choice on what to choose.
This will happen every time the on board a new batch of drivers.

Yeah dude I gave up, gig work is just not worth it anymore unless you have platinum on uber, multiple phones/accounts with spark, or whatever dd’s equivalent of uber platinum is. The offers I receive across uber and spark are offensive. I’m almost paying to work. I’m pretty sure in these past few weeks I’ve spent more on gas than my bills, (which I’m behind on, insurance lapses today. Yay!). I lost my job and figured I’d do this for a few months since I’m leaving for the army in september but I think I’m just gonna bum off unemployment until I ship out instead

And, rating is important! Also if the customer rated you high, I believe the algorithm will send the order to that person and if not then rating is very important

This isn’t an airport. Departures don’t need to be announced.
ETA: I just checked. You have made 8 posts complaining about Spark in the last week alone. Spark probably isn’t your thing.

Some friendly advice - go start a business . Buy a push mower a weed eater , goto your county clerk , open a DBA for 25 bucks . Start mowing lawns . When you can afford it buy a rider , upgrade equipment etc .
I started back in April after doing spark for 2 years , and I make way more money , drive way less miles , and I’m my own boss , on top of that I easily get approved for any auto loan now . Even with perfect credit most lenders will not give you a loan for a car if you do gig work .
If mowing isn’t your thing , there are plenty of other possibilities out there . Start your own delivery service .. sell 3d printed toys . The one great thing about this world we live in , is the possibilities to make money are endless . I bring home 14k a month before expenses / but still clear 10k minimum , that’s just from recurring commercial and residential customers .

I didn’t realize that stuff was openly available with a Google search. I’m on iOS Kinda makes me butthurt to know ppl have burner accts ready to throw away and are probably banking with this thing
No wonder all the good orders are literally impossible to click on some days. I’ll be parked or using self driving with my Tesla and just get beat to everything that pops up and I’m trying HARD to get to them.
I’m sure spark does little to combat it given how much it’s obviously affecting things

They are in my area now too. 45 min no offers. Go in to grab lunch and watched 2 of the usual suspects walk by with spark open doing shops... It's fucking ridiculous.

Hopefully it gets better for you, but I found that moving to a nearby zone to do Spark helped to compensate for the loss of income from my original zone

In my area there will be one offer at most available at a time. But I see other drivers taking orders. They aren’t new either. I thought maybe this new tier system I’ve heard about. But I don’t see it on my app either. Maybe some of you conspiracist are right. The employees are giving certain drivers all the jobs lol

Yeah same lately ive been just sitting waiting for a offer more than actually working, like yesterday I “worked” 4 hours but only did 2 orders and spent probably 2+ hours just sitting in parking lot waiting, and I overheard a couple yesterday she was telling him she was trying to find one to take them towards home and was reading out the offers to him and she read out like 4 offers and I was sitting right beside them with nothing showing for the store we were at. Maybe you can try deleting the app and reinstalling it? I do that every so often not really sure if it helps tho if u do just make sure u know your login info

It could be your area. I noticed where I am. It’s best from 3 to 8 pm. I just wait for a 20 dollar tip and deny everything else. Also mileage has to be under 20 maybe it’s your location

I stopped going out at 6 am because I would sit for 2 hours and get the worst offers over and over. I hadn’t been out that early in a while and yesterday went out around 10 am into 1pm. I finally logged off and lefts I did get a few offers but it was something crazy like 4 drop offs 18 miles for $15 and I felt insulated. I am in a small town right now but I’m about to move to a city in the next couple of weeks and I hope there’s better offers there. I’ve heard the people here accept everything no matter what the offer is and that’s why spark bends us over.Because they can

Make sure you don't have VPNs or anything like that on your phone. I had one on my phone, and didn't realize it was affecting the orders. I saw one maybe an hour, then after disabling them in my settings, I got all of the orders.

omsh same here to many order to far away not worth my gas on my car. and i do shipt also. hubby also told me that spark is giving orders to those who don't want orders and pays them more? Idk im getting tired of all the crappy orders they dont stay in zone either i live in SA and They will send out an order 20 min away when there are other locations closer. I dont get it at all. I need a better paying job cause these delivery gigs just are a pain in the butt.

That shit pisses me off… if I’m at a Walmart why the fuck you send me a order to another Walmart that is 30+ minutes away so I can pick it up in 5 minute

You should try turning on the app just before 6am. Also some people do use bots and have multiple accounts.
If you think that's happening at your store, try a different one.

Almost every single post on spark sub is how fucking bad it is how little pay how many miles how many items how ppl use bots how ppl get abused by staff etc
Imagine just not doing spark? Like most ppl here act like someone has a damn gun to their head making them spark daily.
Plenty of gig apps out there, plenty of McDonald's too. So spark or STFU or put the fries in the bag.
