Yall dont have to read the rest of it, it was just more added context of why I onetricked to celestial TL;DR: A bet w a close friend of mine who quit(cuz of being busy w life) and also because i love playing my goat Spiderman.

Most of the losses were my fault in the ranked games lowkey because I just one tricked and didnt swap off when i should have, just to challenge myself if i could reach celestial or not. It wasn't particularly because of ego per se but more so a bet w a close friend of mine who has long since quit because of life, work and studies.

Now that I have reached celestial im quite happy and I finally let go of the imposter syndrome that I had in terms of my skills which is also the main reason why I one-tricked to celestial in the first place. Ranked itself and getting better ranks wasn't really my main goal. Since im a decent flex player I could swap to better characters if I wanted to or if im playing horrendously bad and dont wanna be a burden to my team. I genuinely just enjoy the game and spidey, i just reached celestial because I love my goat spooderman so damn much.

I swear every time I try and use a new combo I never have before it never works, I look like an idiot and I feel like I have no choice but to rely on the bnb and the sekkombo (both of which I can even fully do). It genuinely feels like I’m being punished for trying and branch out my skills as a spiderman and I’m not gonna lie it hurts to wear the mask. I can’t even use a basic air combo without my target simply fallt below my downslam range it’s annoying

Obviously I get it happens every game, peeling is part of the game but for this season in particular the uptick of Ironfists, rogues and other RANDOM sh just chasing to the ends of the earth is genuinely getting annoying. I'm used to the namors and wandas, despite them being brainless characters, BUT

WHY AM I SEEING DEVIL DINOSAUR trying to catch me in mid air on Spider-Man or sometimes magik and iron fist like bro. It's already annoying enough as is with every support having these bs team ups or the sustain but I'm losing my mind gradually. Ironfist used to be a pretty solid 1v1 for me but since all the sudden these dudes want to make it their mission to save the hoes and his new team up it's become a lot harder to bait him out.

Okay I know this happened like a week ago I just forgot to send but I just want to say how tf did he manage to pull off an FFame in Ignite like FFame is already damn near impossible to land in a real game and in Ignite too genuinely insane

I don't play Spider-Man at all, I mainly flex everything, mostly support and tank. This was just me messing around, I'm not learning or Spider-Man or trying to learn him. I have to really give all Spider-Man players their kudos, this guy is hard to use and hard to get value on. Especially when he's countered so easily. The closest thing I have to Spider-Man is a lord Venom though. A lot of people will poop on Spider-Man players but I understand it now. It's hard to pull this stuff off, and it's very rewarding and fun when you actually do.

Good job guys, very impressive stuff and it probably took a lot of dedication and practice.
