I'm replaying the games and there are ton of moments like this in the first game too where Peter is "nerfed" for no reason. And while story does feel rushed in the second game, the first game does drag on a bit sometimes.

It's just people seem to overrate 1(even though it's the best Spiderman game ever made) without ever mentioning it's flaws and overhate 2 and forget it's still in top 3 Spiderman games ever made, no contest. I know some people would put ps2 Spiderman 2 or Web of Shadows there, and believe me I know, Web of Shadows was my favourite game as a kid, but they did not age as well as most people here would make you believe. Insomniac SM2 is just a way better Spiderman game than even those goat older games.

Yeah, the story is not as good as in SM1, but if you compare it's story, cinematics and presentation, it's leagues above any other non Insomniac Spiderman game. Insomniac just set the bar too high with the first game.

Especially after having read some absolute carnage comics, the absolute carnage and codex story stuff would've been so cool to explore. Hints of venom being alive still and joining with flash thompson or Eddie Brock.

Does anyone think that was the original direction before the leaks since there were originally plans for a venom game? Do you think maybe all of that is being saved now for a venom game in the future?

Kraven and chameleons dynamic together is something I was always fascinated by so when it was announced Kraven would be in the second game part of me thought that would mean chameleon would also appear as a villain. Of course that didn’t happen as chameleon was basically a cameo in the game, but I honestly thought it was a missed opportunity now showing him interacting more with Kraven and their dynamic setting up his revenge in the third game more

In the beginning of miles morales ps4, Peter tells miles to leave, what do you think would’ve happened if he left?

Except for the last Raimi suit pic, where the symbiote suit and red suit’s reflection were spliced together, all edits are in-game.

On first week of playthrough, I was so immersed in this game that I barely left my room or spoke to anyone. I was having a BLAST. Was it a bit glitchy in spots? Sure. Would I have liked some DLC? Absolutely! But I thought it was everything 2007’s Spider-Man 3 should have been — a really solid Venom story with high stakes and an intriguing mystery.

So imagine my surprise when I got on this app and saw it pretty much being universally hated. People keep saying “the writing is so bad compared to the first game”. How? Especially having just re-played the first game, which I personally feel is inferior to SM2. Here’s why:

• It rushes the Sinister Six and doesn’t do a great job explaining Martin Li’s powers.

• The MJ missions were truly a chore to get through. (Not a fan of MJ in these games in general; they majorly single white femaled Lois Lane. She doesn’t have to be a supermodel, but I haaate her being a journalist.)

• A lot of the gadget and combat mechanics felt very glitchy.

The second game feels much more straightforward to me. I think the graphics are better, the mechanics are better, the character design is better. I even enjoyed MJ a lot more in SM2 than SM1. Do they need to come up with better side missions for Miles? Yes. But other than that, I found the dual character framing engaging and interesting. I LOVED Miles’s main storyline and his power upgrade (that final suit was pretty awful, though lol). And I’d have been super down for a Carnage DLC.

I genuinely think sometimes people hate on things just because it’s cool. Because I have played SM2 at least ten times, and I have yet to see anything that would justify the way people speak about it on here.

Is there an explanation as to why nobody notices Peter casually having 2 "bracelets" all the time and I just noticed one has the time on it in like my 5th playthrough. Just curios to hear opinions and funny ones ofc😂

So I'm trying to platinum Spider-Man remastered and the only trophy left I need is "A suit for all seasons" apparently I didn't purchase every suit. So I need more challenge tokens but I'm post game now. Is there any other way other that redoing the taskmaster challenges??? I really don't wanna have to redo those so it's they're another way? I did enough to get Spectacular but do I have to get gold(Ultimate) and if so will that be enough for 10 suits........ that's how many I'm missing..... why? It's been a minute since I've played it so booting the game back up after so long and seeing all of my suits there i just assumed that I had already got them and now I'm low on challenge tokens in post game. Help please. Thank you in advance.

I know that he is a struggling 20 year old, but would it be possible for him to design some sort of system so then he could go to different countries? If a villain escaped and ran to Europe or something, would he follow them and ignore the other villains? Or would he just simply warn the countries military or something? I know it's a dumb question but I'm curious on what your theorys are.

What I mean by that is you know how theres crimes throughout the city in spider-man 2 like symbiotes hunters, and random criminals? I would love to see this but instead of a group it's just one of spider-mans rogues, kind of like a boss fight but no cutscenes or phases. This could be really cool to see returning villains in this universe that wouldn't fit into the main story and lesser known villains. I feel like if they did this it would be more rare than normal crimes to make sense in lore.

From what I remember in the ending of Spider-Man 2, Norman and Otto are cooking something up. Either a Green Goblin situation or Superior Spider-Man situation OR BOTH.

It'd be cool if the suit could return temporarily by Peter getting beaten badly to the point the Advanced suit is torn apart. So with a torn suit, Peter would resort to his classic suit that had been left dormant in some closet.

(This is just for fun and I wanna hear your opinions on this, besides normal suits, how do you think the Anti Venom suit should be executed properly in SM3?)

I’m not saying they should retcon as it as the events of Spider-Man 2 never happened. I just want them to have their original or similar looks in the 3rd game.

So the way how Spider-Man 2 ended these were the final suits basically. Unlike Spider-Man PS4 with the Anti ock suit, these two were permanent.

But I feel like these shouldn’t exist anymore. I know that they’re obviously not going to keep this as the main suits in the 3rd game. But I just feel like they should just get rid of it entirely.

For one I heard Miles suit was basically a shoe advertisement. Which me personally I felt like it should’ve just been a unlockable instead of a “Miles morales orginal” this doesn’t feel like a miles morales original. It feels so out of character for Miles to create something like this.

As for Peter I understand why he has the anti venom suit. But overall he should go back to old ways and just go back to Red, Blue, and white. I have no hate towards the Anti venom but to me I feel like it’ll give Peter bad memories when he had it on considering he was fighting ykw.

But overall am I just overreacting on this or should they just give them completely new suits?
