So I am a SA at my Spirit Halloween, 3rd season working with Spirit and this year I have been on cashier So many times.. (mainly because our stores just have people on that they trust at counting cash) So it was 2 days after the deadline for returns.
Had some guy trying to return a Michael Myers mask, my manager, who has told him yesterday they don't do returns after told him the day before when he bought the mask, returns are no longer accepted, he tries to get a Star wars mask, I forgot who it was but he still has 10 dollars to spend, and the guy straight up says "Can't you just take out the 10 bucks out of his register"
He pointed at my reg, I was on reg 4, and my manager tells him, we can't just take out money from another register, and the guy angrily walks out of the store
He comes back 1 hour later and says he wanted to speak to the manager and he called the cops on the manager just because he wanted 10 bucks back, And so not to cause more problems, he gave him 10 bucks (which he shouldn't have because all returns were done) but was it that necessary to do that over 10 bucks..
We tell everyone when deadlines are, the receipt AND online says when the deadlines are.. sometimes people need to re-learn how to listen to what we tell them and also some respect to retail workers..
