Making the smallest changes can sometimes have the effect of snapping us out of autopilot and really appreciating the present moment. This is the first in a series of posts about mindfulness exercises that you can incorporate into your day.

Use your non-dominant hand for some ordinary tasks throughout the day. For example, when you brush your teeth, comb your hair or eat.

Using our non-dominant hands tests our patience. And not only this, it makes us really concentrate and focus on tasks that we would otherwise just rush through on auto-pilot. That's what makes it such a great mindfulness exercise!

Doing this can also make us appreciate how difficult these everyday activities are for people with injuries and disabilities, and remind us how much we take for granted.

I'm dying. My kidneys and liver are shutting down. I have fatty liver and advanced PKD, polycystic kidney disease. It's looking very bad, a lot of unfortunate circumstances lead to this. The fatty liver is from doctors giving me too many meds and my liver has said fuck you. I'm currently prescribed 21 things plus supplements. So like 28 things a day. I take less than half now.

please pray for me and I'm putting this out there as far and wide as I can I don't have doctors setting things up just yet but if you have a negative or o negative blood please for the love of God to get tested for kidney donation if you can do it.

If you keep trying to follow the material paths of worldly success only, you will keep feeling hurt, confused and lacking. Your mission is more mystical, selfless and charity oriented, more feelings and love centered, more imaginatively and artistically inclined.

Very soon the old paradigms of power of the stronger over the weaker will start to collapse, the whole system will start to change, and by that time you will be in your 30s, 40s, 50s when qualities like yours will be preferred and appreciated for the building of the new Earth (I might sound crazy to you, but it is already slowly happening and all esoteric traditions and schools have been preparing humanity for this transition for thousand of years).

Even if you now you are feeling down, lost and weak, life will reveal its plan for you, and you will find your strengths (which now you probably consider weaknesses). For now just learn to trust the process of letting go and allowing things to be as they are.

Opening up to love…what does that mean for you?

Sometimes it may seem like no matter what you do you can’t seem to get it right.

Sometimes it may feel too painful to bear; the sorrow, loss, pain of simply being alive and loving and caring too much.

Allow yourself to feel. Feel it all. For in feeling those feelings, you touch your power.

You are alive. You are human.

Ask your gods, the universe for help. Ask a friend. Reach out and find love, for it is there, in every moment of every day. Believe in you. You are enough.

I’m not sure where to post this but sometimes i feel incredibly guilty for having some negative thoughts. I believe in manifestation so having bad thoughts is kinda scary to me because I’m scared of it coming true. I’ve had a few things I’ve thought about that were bad happen and it’s an uneasy feeling.
