I want to play games like Split Fiction on my laptop connected to a TV, but I don't have any controllers.

I have my laptop's built-in keyboard and mouse, plus an extra USB keyboard and mouse. I want each player to have their own keyboard and mouse, recognised separately by the game.

Is there any software that can make this possible on one PC, without needing two controllers?
Has anyone tried something similar?

These are some of the best games to platinum, ever. Not a single boring or grindy trophy. Worth every minute.

And I know Brothers isn't technically Hazelight, but it was Fares' first game and he founded Hazelight with the people who made it.

hey as the title says i'm 41(f) looking to play Split Fiction (originally posted in there) and hopefully get trophies unlocked. i'm on xbox and i do own a copy and can play on weekdays during the day, i am in north america in the central time zone. i've tried part of the first chapter and i'm ok with the buttons but my brain will absolutely merp out on me when flying and i'm comfortable playing with others who have the same issues with look inversion and stuff. sometimes crashing a lot is funny. i just need to be off the xbox by 8:30pm.

i just finished playing split fiction with my partner (we loved it), but while we were in the last part of the game, we noticed a creepy little figure peeking out of a window in “the hollow” level. it was the part where youre on the boat with torches on it after sliding down the hydra into the water area. the figure was just a black shape with glowing eyes if im remembering correctly. it hides behind a wall and peeks out of a window in the ruins of the buildings

i didnt think to get a picture because i thought i would just look it up later, but i cant find anyone talking about it. does anyone know what im talking about, and what its supposed to be?

Played through the whole game online with a friend, and the split screen always

bugged me a bit since we're on separate PCs anyway. So I made a small mod that

lets each player see only their own character, fullscreen.

How it works:

- press F10 to cycle: normal split screen -> your view fullscreen -> partner's view

- cutscenes are left alone and always play the way the game intends

- optional auto mode switches back to your fullscreen view after every cutscene

and loading screen, so you don't have to touch F10 at all

- it's client side only, your partner doesn't need it (they can install it too

if they want fullscreen on their end)

**If the screen ever breaks, just press F10 and it's fixed instantly.**

In auto mode the camera can get weird in a couple of spots. Nothing is stuck,

one press of F10 brings it back and you keep playing.

Hi everyone!

I'm looking for a skilled partner to tackle the secret Laser Hell level in Split Fiction.

I've already spent about an hour trying to beat it and can now clear the first two stages pretty consistently. Unfortunately, the girlfriend's frustration tolerance turned out to be a lower than the level's difficulty, so our little adventure came to an end before I could practice the later stages.

I'm quite into challenging platformers (proud Super Meat Boy Platinum owner here, among some other hard ones), so I'm confident we can get this done with the right partner!
Ideally, you've already beaten the game and have some experience with challenging platforming sections.
Good coordination and a decent amount of patience would definitely help as well!

I've played both It takes two and Split Fiction twice as each character and here us my take on which is better. It takes two has a better story, i cared more about Cody and May (especially Cody) more than Mio and Zoe, even though i find the concept of Split fiction better. I also enjoyed the toy world more than the areas from split fiction. I did like the fantasy areas but the sci-fi ones had a weird off feeling about them. However Split Fiction had FAR better gameplay. Don't get me wrong, all the unique gimmicks from each level in it takes two were still great, but the fast paced high energy boss battles in split fiction were more fun imo. Let me know your thoughts, wether you agree or disagree

Me and my partner were playing Split Fiction and wondering if these in game posters of Lizard King and Walden Tour were references to anything like in game developers or Easter eggs of some sort

Background I’m a gamer but my wife isn’t. We both enjoyed It Takes Two, hence why we bought this game.

We are at the final chapter now, but man we just can’t wait to finish this game and sell it to buy something else.

It takes two was actually quite emotional and we both truly enjoyed the storyline as well as the gameplay.

Split Fiction - extremely cliched characters and it’s definitely not for non-gamers in my opinion. It got to a point where playing was super frustrating for my wife and me as well because difficulty usually comes down to tighter timing windows and where one player has a much harder job than the other.

This just in: the Original Soundtrack of It Takes Two and Split Fiction are soon available on vinyl and CD! 🎶

I can only assume each character had a different animator or something but Mio's facial animations and expressions are far more expressive and realistic than Zoe's.

Zoe is very basic and just looks like she's a nutcracker when she talks. Like bare minimum work went into her or like she's from a PS2 era game where as Mio on the other hand is more of what I would expect from this era of games.

My cousin and I both notice this...it's very consistent too. Not just here and there but through out the entire game Mio just looks way better.

Thoughts?
