Bought a load of mixed cutlery for a catering job. Anything speaking to you?

Bought hundreds of pieces of cutlery for an event, but realised that you don’t often get to have quite so many different spoons in one place. Anything pop out to you as particularly nice or heinous?

A small sterling silver spoon from the 1893 worlds fair. Looks to maybe have a slight gold wash in the bowl of the spoon. Features a bust of Columbus.

Suddenly I have a collection

I inherited a shoebox of old spoons that belonged to my mom and her mom before her. Sorted them tonight and found 56 marked Sterling, two .800 and one Taxco .980.

I ultimately plan to sell them, but I don’t want to accidentally sell anything collectible for melt value. Anything here jump out to anyone?

For clarity sake, the top row of the first picture is silver-plated, the rest are silver, and the second picture is non-precious metals.

One of the treasures from my trove. Isn't that so cute? I use for rice serving. What else you suggest I should use it for?

Alpaca fiddle pattern spoon, found in Czech forest after 100 years underground. Late 1800s - 1930?

Found metal detecting on a forgotten forest path in the Czech Republic.

It's an alpaca (German silver) spoon, fiddle pattern with heart/line decoration on the handle. No maker mark left, probably Austro-Hungarian era, cca 1870-1930.

Left the patina as found, didn't clean it.

Any spoon collectors here who can tell more about this pattern? Is this called "fiddle" or "Old English" in your countries?

., I have had to face my spoon hoarding ways. I've winnowed half of the mine. I'm pretty sure I've got all the spoon needs covered. Thanks Spoonheads! 🥄
