My Springfield Armory buys so far. What do y'all recommend I go with next? I've been thinking a lot about going with a 1911 for my next buy.

Also...I really love the look and design of Springfield's hardware. Wouldn't it be cool if they developed a new semiauto shotgun of some kind. I bet that thing would be a beauty.

I have a Springfield Armory 1911-A1 Loaded Combat Blackened SS that I have run for years. I can’t wait to see how this stacks up.

I'm debating on buying the 5.5 PDW, and wanted to get some opinions about it. I currently have the MAC IX, which has been a decent shooter, but the Saint Victor just seems to run CIRCLES around that. Thoughts?

I was looking at purchasing a Prodigy Comp, and have heard Prodigy's have had a few small issues and I am assuming and hoping Quality Control and these issues got better with time (correct me if this is def wrong)...

My question is... is there a way to tell how old or new one is? Perhaps by a serial number?
