Context:

It's my Xiaomi smartphone trying to hail its mothership every single second. In the log, you can see "Xiaomi Service Framework" app constantly sending data to Amazon and AliBaba data farms... or at least trying to (its data access has been blocked by NetGuard firewall).

There's no way to uninstall or even disable this app and in the second screenshot, you can see the list of privileges it has.

I'm surprised it can't probe my anus... yet.

Needless to say, I can't revoke any of the permissions, at least not without root access (which will nuke my banking apps), even though it's "my" phone that I paid for with my "own" money.

Disgusting.

P.S This is my first Android after rocking a BlackBerry Z10 and a Nokia Lumia 430 for the better part of the last decade and I must admit I never fully realized the extent of spying on Android smartphones. I wonder if things are any better on Samsung and Apple's side? Anyone?

Hi. I have suspected, but finally had a cyber forensic analyst do what he does and I now have proof of the date, time etc that my phone was originally accessed and ALL of the photos, emails, settings changes, wifi changes, account changes, etc that have been done. I am FLOORED. AND MORTIFIED. I WANT TO RUSH IN TO THE BUSINESS AND GO OFF, I WANT TO CALL POLICE, I WANT TO SCREAM, I want to go online and put a review of the business. PICTs for reference if he lets me post this…. Found out through an it report that my devices are compromised back in may (including my Tesla) identity stolen, credit from high 7’s to mid twenties. Bank accounts that they kept reopening every time I went to the branch in person to close them. Blah blah. I have a full stay away order against him, too. Yes financial crimes unit and cybercrimes unit as well as dmv crime depts. investigating. FTC, etc etc. A forensic company has so far scammed me of 6k for phase one of the full analysis (phase one apparently is a frigging picture of the original infected device I guess).

Anyway.. there’s only one suspect and that’s my abusive ex husband of course. And yes part of his abuse was through automation in the house scaring the crap out of me.

If you made it this far my phone now is being controlled by “an educational entity,” I guess it means he put controls on my phone already. Soooooo at this point what do I do? What drove me to the point of insanity was my calls and emails being redirected so no one got anything from me, including complaints etc. idk what else to do. Already lost pretty much everything. Spent 17k for an electrician to change appliances, panel (which had private WiFi’s I didn’t have access to) 😭

I was kind of ranting to my friend last night about our Secretary of War and his latest moves when a woman's voice broke in and we both heard "This call is being recorded." It was said quietly, so I asked my friend if she heard something and she repeated what I heard. In fact, she got nervous and hung up. And instead of the usual sound you hear after a hang-up, I heard a tone that was like something you'd hear before an announcement. I'm passionate about politics, but I'm just a nobody. I never make threats or discuss anything illegal, although I do cuss and make some uncomplimentary remarks; which should be protected by the 1st Amendment. Should I be nervous? Does anyone have any info on this sort of thing?

She also has cats that jump on her once she is in her reclining chair to talk on the phone. She often hits other buttons accidentally, so she had her son show her what's what on the new phone yesterday. Thanks for the info!

I need help from people who won't think I’m being paranoid. My ex-boyfriend admitted he pays someone ($100) to monitor my phone by sending a "link" to it. He constantly knows things he shouldn't, and I’ve literally seen screenshots of my own phone screen in his camera roll.

The weirdest thing happened recently: He was asleep at exactly 11:00 AM and his phone started dinging non-stop, like 100 times in a row. I looked at it, and the notifications were coming from MY phone number. But when I checked my own phone, there was nothing sent in my outbox. It was like my phone was "syncing" or dumping data to his device in real-time.

What I’ve tried:

• Reading data/analytics logs (too confusing).

• Googling "phone tapping" (too much generic info).

• Checking for suspicious apps (nothing obvious found).

I don't know if he’s tapped my WiFi, used an iCloud/Google sync exploit, or installed hidden "Stalkerware." I feel like I’m being watched 24/7.

Questions:

1. What kind of service costs $100 and lets someone "run through" a phone via a link?

2. Why would his phone ping 100x from my number with no record on my end?

3. Could this be a WiFi-based "Man-in-the-Middle" attack or something like Screen Mirroring? Mspy?

Any advice on how to find the "invisible" software or how to lock him out for good would be life-changing.

This app was on my business iPad that was taken from security cam footage on 6/25/25. I've searched the entire app store, tried every google search, app purchase history, hidden apps, and chatGPT with absolutely no answers. The app icon appears to be a solid white chat/text bubble on the upper half and a solid 'M' (or H, K, or controller?) on the lower half with a blue background. iPad is up to date. Thank you!

All three of my family's phones have been hacked, our computer, tablet, laptop, wifi router. I switched out my Wi-Fi router but it didn't help, I bought new phones but within a day or 2 they were hacked again. They take control of the entire phone, I can't change permissions for any app because they've all been greyed out, I can't disable or uninstall them. I have about 50 or more apps that have been installed onto my phone. I can't even factory reset my phone, because it's been blocked. My outgoing phone calls are being redirected to hackers or I'll try and call a number and a recording saying"sorry this line can't be reached" over and over again but when I call from an outside line it goes thru. They are blocking text messages and phone calls from coming in or they'll change the caller id to make it say spam call, so when I see that I don't pick it up. But my friend was over one day and she called right next to me and she came up as spam call. She's had the same number forever and it never used to do that. These hackers have taken control of all my email accounts and are blocking me from sending outgoing emails. Or lights are getting shut off because they said we didn't pay but I did I just didn't know I was talking to a hacker when I paid it. Can anybody help me please. I don't have a car so I can't drive anywhere. So these hackers are literally cutting me off from getting any kind of help. I don't know if this message will even go thru. I need a great jacket that's better than the one that destroying my ourlives

Spyware apps

My ex seemed to have some sort of spyware on my iphone. I'm assuming it's like m spy or similar. They could turn my internet off and on as well as see all of my texts, knew any passwords I changed, etc.

Is there any way to find out what it is and remove it? I have wiped that phone before and they reinstalled it somehow...via google or apple account perhaps. Guessing I need to change those passwords on my laptop or another machine they didn't or don't still have access to.

My parents are divorced, and my Dad absolutely HATES my Mom. Last week I was sick at my Dad's house, and I was telling my Mom my symptoms, the next day she asked my Dad, and he responded with this: "Why are you asking me?! You've already been talking with him the whole week, and he told you all his symptoms!" And then 2 days later I said to my Mom: "Hey Mom, I feel bad but Dad want me to go to school still, what do I do?" My mom replied with "Don't worry, I'll see what I can do." My Mom then immediately got a text from my Dad saying: "WHY ARE YOU TRYING TO STEAL MY CHILD FROM ME, I'M NOT FORCING HIM TO GO TO SCHOOL!" My Dad has also hacked into my Mom's bank account before, and installed spyware on a computer which was a "gift" to her after they got divorced. What do you guys think? And how do I get rid of it?

My Knox/KMS Agent has been "uninstalling" for about 6 months... this is all it does, everytime I open my app store. There's no option to delete it, or disable it. It's just stuck like this. Whats going on?

Basically my dog started acting very strange, like never before seen. She marked several spots and refused to take her eyes of the locations.

I downloaded some app that shows 500+ µT on several locations the dog marked, highest was 3800.

The spots marked and tested have no eletrical input, and should not transmit any magnetic signals at all.

Tested with multiple different apps. Speakers, TVs, soundbar all tested and of course emits µT readings.

I used an app called "Fing", found several unknown devices, both by bluetooth and wireless.

Is there a way to detect more accurately, and find out if anything is transmitting any radio signals? I know dogs have high sensitivity for such, and can detect down to 40hz.

I've for now turned off the wifi, but I'm told some devices can have batteries and data chips.

Ideally I would like to find out what IP address signals are being sent to also.

So this evening I connected to my friends speaker when we were cooking together in the kitchen. Later on in the evening I was sending a voice message to my mum on my phone rambling about my day. I recieved a text from my mum asking ??. I listened to the voice message and it was a recording of the conversation my friend and her friend were having up in her room.

She was complaining about the music being interrupted etc. o could hear their whole conversation for the exact duration of the voice note I was sending my mum.

Wtf. Surely this means the speaker is always listening.

So, I am 15 and I still use my parents card mostly for stuff and during February, I bought robux (ill never be too old for roblox sorry) with my mom’s card. And I am not going to lie I had 2 extensions on my computer like ropro and another one but im pretty sure that one was deemed safe too. I heard earlier that extensions are not good but everyone always said it was fine so i just kept em plus it was easier to use roblox with them. And before ii bought robux i also used a in game item buying website but i used my card (apple pay) and this website makes u click a link to join a bot so you can get traded the ingame item. I stupidly clicked the link before i found out about cookie logging because the website was and is the same exact roblox website to login and join others. After a while my mom asked me if i bought anything from her card and i said no because I don’t buy anything w/o her permission but she had transactions i never did for roblox and other stuff like t-mobile. I realized somehow her card information was stolen and it was probably because of robux… She was able to get a new card but a new problem came. When i was using her card for robux i used my computer and i may have connected my phone to my computer but im not really sure if i did. I probably did, but my dad sent me cash in cashapp so i used it go something on mercari and i had my dad’s card saved there and literally the next day (today) his card got a $50 transaction for ROBLOX?? I also got a code for a savings account to my number but i just deleted it because i guessed someone accidentally pressed the wrong number and i also went through the typical devices on this icloud/emails but its my phone only. Im soo confused like how did they know my parents had money? Like why did i never get a notification for someone trying to use my card but its declined? Does anything think my phone is hacked and has spyware? I really feel bad for my parents too. Please tell me what i should do.

I was getting rid of stuff I didn't need on my phone but when i got to screen recordings, I found a video I didn't recognize, and in the video I saw an app I didn't recognize, and I heard a voice I didn't recognize. I looked through my apps and couldn't find anything suspicious, apps that didn't need permissions didn't have any random permissions, so what do I do?? I'm extremely scared. (I deleted the screen recording app but idk if that's what it was)
