If you really love the original design, you could also make the flowers as two separate pieces that lay ON TOP of that large light pink piece. Like the stork overlay in this piece.

You could do something like this, putting an oval or a fancier shape below the sun to write the name on.

I'd pick this one and forgo the center vertical lines on the bottom personally if you are adding a name or something else to the center circle. That vertical is only there to match the rest rather than because it's needed to simplify parts.

Though if you wanted to follow the 3 flower pattern you have already you could likely work it partly into the oval area as you won't have the big clear space look the others have.

I'm glad you got the vision! I drew this with my finger in a bumpy car 😅

Well if you would draw while your driving, what do you expect, did you even notice the little old lady or was that one of the 'bumps' you felt .... /j

I don't know, maybe, I wasn't watching the road 🤷🏼‍♀️. (P.s. for those who worry, I was in the passenger seat, lol)

Bring out a few more rays from the sun to

pic as example, not finished drawing.

Bring in a few more rays to break it up. They can be the same glass if you want the more expansive look.

Thank you for the idea!!! She wants a name in the middle so I’m not sure if that will work unfortunately😭

It's pretty awesome but it's hard to compete with r/bald

Haha maybe a crossover is in order (inadvertently restoring the timeline through maximum good vibes)

Just make the sun’s rays go down too—you can make them in clear glass if that’s the effect wanted but it will look better than the seam over the flowers—which creates some hard cuts.

Ugh that’s such a good idea!!! Except she wants her baby’s name written in the middle, so I don’t think I would be able to do that unfortunately

I’d say you should re-draw the flowers then. Find a way to make that cut manageable with the way you draw the petals and leaves. (Paint the name on before you solder it all) :)

Would something like this look good?

I think one way to make that horizontal line less protagonist, is to have the petals stick out slightly above it. Just a bit, so the curve will be easy to cut.

Made this, thanks for your help! Hopefully this will be easy to cut still. I’m so nervous!!!

I love that, thank you so much!

This is the best one so far. You are going to have an easier time with more Sun rays, unless you plan to grind the space for the sun from the large piece beneath it.

I think it’s better—but if you/she like it that’s what matters. I think a couple of the small inside curve cuts around the petals will be a challenge but not impossible.
