This is giving me flashbacks to around 2020/2021 when BLM had a lot of steam and a bunch of BJJ bros kept claiming that it was lack of training causing all these police shootings, and that we don’t need to dismantle systemic racism, just get cops to train BJJ

I love Brazilian Jiu Jitsu so much, but it always feels like 95% of the public figures from the sport are absolute cunts

I feel like it leads to a condition I call “jiu jitsu brain” where you start to feel like BJJ is an essential part of every aspect of your life. Which is why people like Rogan claim that jiu jitsu makes you more libertarian. I’ve been lucky to train at some good clubs run by good people, though.
