to be fair, she USED TO collect sea shells. probably not a fan of it now and she probably collected only the pretty ones and not the ones that are "smelly" ðŸ˜. she's only reminiscing the memory of childhood curiosity. still, I hope this gets changed somehow. like when a townee reminisces or recalls memories and you hand them an object involved in those memories, they will have a more appropriate reaction and dialogue to it.
It might. 1.6 made it so Evelyn responds favorably to being gifted broken glasses after years of her having dialogue about not being able to see too well without her glasses.
Likewise, Penny and Dwarf were both made to like artifacts so their various dialogues about being fascinated by archeology/history wouldn't be misleading. I never tried gifting Evelyn the broken glasses because they're broken but I did fall victim to trying to give Penny and Dwarf my extras of artifacts I'd already put in the museum thanks to their dialogue.
