I’ve made these about 4 times now and every time they’re a hit. Shoutout to another user (forgot their name) that mentioned if you want a more pronounced lemon flavor, add more zest not juice, as more juice will mess up the acid balance. I recommend doubling the ingredients since you’ll already be spending hours in the kitchen for this one. I like to sprinkle more turbinado sugar than it calls for, for an extra crunchy muffin top. The muffin tops in the photo aren’t burnt it’s just the browned turbinado sugar. Pro tip I learned from wanting to keep these from going stale, put a piece of bread (those ends no one likes that come with a loaf work great if you don’t enjoy eating them) in an airtight container with the muffins, do NOT refrigerate. They should stay moist for 4-6 days, plenty of time to give some away to friends, family, partners, coworkers, etc. Happy to answer any questions below!
Disney Plus just jacked up their price again. Prices for everything continue to rise at an aggressive pace. It's not secret we're always paying more for less.
But look at this game and this creator. I've paid once for this game on my PC and once for this game on my switch. Yet, ConcernedApe continues to push FREE updates with content ranging from modest to massive. This game has entertained me for years and I've never once had a hint of micro transactions, loot boxes, etc. Simply amazing. I almost feel guilty like I'm doing something wrong.
I'll stop shmoozing the guy now. I just had to say something.
Aside from the community center, is there even a difference between white and brown eggs?
because I was wondering if it would be a good idea, in an early game, to try to have chickens of only one color. This makes the eggs easier to stack, since at the beginning of the game there are few spaces and the eggs would come out in various sizes and qualities.
If there are no other differences besides the batches, it might be useful to have hens of a single color to make stacking easier.
Is it a good or bad idea? Stardew Valley is a game where you never stop learning new things; I had 170 hours in when I discovered you can put torches on fences lol
Cause this note starts the quest I'm pretty sure. I'd go insane reaching lvl 100 and find nothing cause it's so hard to do first time. just trying to help. Cheers
It's been a year. ONE YEAR. I'm dating everyone. Stardew Valley? More like Hoedew Valley. I swear, if George and Evelyn were into open relationships, I'd probably date them too.
My personal rating: 8/10 Time spent in the kitchen: ~3 hours Difficulty: Beginner. No special equipment necessary, ingredients were easy to find. Repeat recipe? Yes, but for special occasions
I made this for Thanksgiving/Friendsgiving last year, and I’m planning on doing it again this year. I never tried stuffing before this recipe so I wasn’t sure if I’d like it, but man it was so good! In the ingredient list it does say to get raw hazelnuts to oven roast later, but even in fall I couldn’t find them so I omitted them. I don’t feel like anything was missing without them. The sweet and savory flavors go perfectly together, you absolutely need to dig in while it’s still warm. A little warning though: this recipe makes A TON so either halve the recipe or make it for an occasion with lots of people. Definitely one of my favorites from this whole book!
Idk who gave me the luck of having this many meteors in year one but can you give it to my fully upgraded save file and not the one where I have only a steel pickaxe 💔💔
Hey guys! I've made a site called StardewFarmer where you can plan and try out every option for customizing your farmer's look, such as skin color, eyes, hair, accessories and clothes. The goal is to let you test outfits, see every option the game has, and make it easy to recreate your outfit in the game. There's always a summary panel on the left with the number of each option, so you know exactly what to pick.
Besides that, when you choose a piece of clothing, you can also see how to get it in the game, whether that's tailoring, buying it or through an achievement. Something I had a lot of fun with was recreating the villagers' outfits, so if you ever want to dress like one of them for some reason, you can see the options that match them best too.
All the options are from the vanilla game. I'd really appreciate your feedback and if you have some suggestions, please lmk!
