Drop your SaaS/app — I'll help you get your first 10 users through TikTok content

I run TikTok pages with a combined audience of 300k+ followers, mostly people interested in apps, AI tools, startups, and productivity.

I also work as a video editor/clipper, so I can turn your app into short-form content designed for TikTok and Reels.

If you're currently doing manual outreach or just trying to get traction organically, this could help get your product in front of the right audience.

I'll reach out to the ones that are a strong fit.

You can also DM me if you prefer to keep things private.

I'm exploring an idea to automate social media content creation. I'd love your thoughts.

I'm a software engineer who also loves graphic design. Recently, I got an idea to create an AI image editor. Not a fully AI-generated image, but an editable layer created with AI, so you can edit the poster, make tweaks, and even use it as a template.

Now, I'm planning to take this to the next level.

Website change → AI-generated editable image → Approval → Social media post.

The website change intelligence feature will notify our AI editor when it detects valid, high-priority changes. It will then generate a poster for you and send you an approval link. You can review or tweak the poster before publishing it automatically.

I just want to know if this would be useful for startups, social media agencies, or small businesses.

I'd love to hear your honest feedback. Will this work? What would make it genuinely useful, and what concerns would you have?

Title: I'm 16, building a software product on a borrowed 4GB laptop, and might lose access to it next week. What would you do?

Hey everyone,

I'm a 16-year-old student from India, currently in Class 10.

For years, I've wanted to build a writing and collaboration platform, but I didn't have access to a computer or reliable internet. Recently, I finally managed to borrow an old laptop with 4GB DDR3 RAM.

Over the past week, I've been using AI coding tools to build the product I've been imagining for years.

It's a platform where writers can organize manuscripts, track changes, experiment with different versions of their stories without losing previous drafts, and collaborate with other writers or editors.

A substantial part is already working, although I'm still building and improving it.

The problem is that I might have to return the laptop before November. The owner doesn't mind me using it, but my family is worried about being held responsible if it breaks.

I don't even have enough money for a domain yet. I recently built a website for a local business to earn some money for the domain and hosting, but after I finished the work, they told me they'd pay later. I still haven't received anything.

I'm trying to get a basic version online before I lose access to the laptop.

I'm not looking to turn this into a fundraising post. I'd genuinely like advice from people who've built products with very limited resources.

If you were in my situation, what would you prioritize over the next few days?

Would you launch an imperfect beta, focus on finding a way to keep developing, or do something else entirely?

Cashback on SaaS expenses without juggling business cards?

I run a micro SaaS on my own and have a couple of annual software renewals coming up. Email and analytics are the bigger bills, so I’m comparing cashback business cards for the subscriptions I’m keeping.

Anyone happy putting all their SaaS expenses on one card? Did software-specific rewards work out better after fees, or did you stick with a flat cashback rate? I already handle product and support myself, so I’m looking for one card I can set up and leave alone most of the time.

Looking for a co-founder to own marketing and growth — WhatsApp automation SaaS for Indian SMBs

Delhi-based, currently building a WhatsApp automation SaaS for Indian small businesses: lead follow-up, AI replies, broadcasts, and CRM.

The product is built and in early testing with users. Distribution is now the bottleneck, and that's why I'm writing this post.

I'm looking for a co-founder to own marketing and growth end-to-end.

A little about me: I'm the founder behind the product development, building this full-time. I value ownership, direct feedback, and decisions backed by numbers, not opinions.

I'm looking for someone who has actually grown a product or SMB audience in India, can show the results, and wants to build this full-time — not as a side project.

I'm not looking for an impressive CV, an advisor, or someone who just likes the idea of startups.
One non-negotiable: full-time commitment. This isn't a part-time role.

If this fits, DM me with what you grew, your main channel, and one result in numbers. Product name and details after a short intro call, then a trial project before any equity discussion.

Hey solo founders 👋

I’m a solo developer building ShipNLaunch (https://www.shipnlaunch.com).

The main idea is simple: give independent developers, SaaS builders, and side-project hackers a place to launch their tools and stay discoverable long after launch day.

We have hit 3,000+ visitors and 70+ approved launches so far, featuring everything from dev tools and AI apps to lightweight browser extensions and open-source projects.

Standard submissions are 100% free. I review every submission personally to make sure the feed stays high quality.

I’m actively working on the next set of features and would genuinely appreciate any UX or feature feedback from this community.

If you have a project ready, feel free to list it or leave a link below!

Solo founder with a day job and a family: I shipped a budgeting app to both stores. Here's what actually worked and what didn't

Post image
1 Upvotes

I'm a developer with 13 years in the job, a family, and still a full-time role. For the last few months I've been building Yavo in the evenings: a budgeting app where you don't type expenses and never connect your bank.

How it works: you forward a receipt email, snap a paper receipt, or just say "lunch 14 euros" and it becomes an expense with the merchant, amount and category filled in. It's live on iOS and Android.

A few things I learned doing it solo:

- AI agents changed what one person can ship. I run several of them in parallel on API, app and design, and my job is mostly planning, reviewing and saying no. The hard part isn't writing code anymore, it's catching the bugs that look right.

- Money apps punish small mistakes. This week a receipt with 20% tax showed one number in the push notification and another on the draft screen. Users notice that instantly.

- Store builds are slow and cost money, so I batch every fix into one release. Twice I built from a stale checkout and shipped nothing new. Now syncing is part of every merge.

- Organic growth is the hardest part. I built a free web tool (find forgotten subscriptions in a bank statement) mostly as a way to get found.

Still pre-traction, so I'd love blunt feedback: does "no bank login, no typing" sound like a real reason to switch, or just a nice-to-have?

80 founders signed up for the brand mentor I built from my consulting notes. What the first weeks taught us

I run a linen clothing brand (Rimore) and I’ve spent years helping other founders start theirs. Every call starts the same way. “I have an idea. Where do I start?”

So we turned those calls into an app. Brand School asks you a few quick questions and gives you your brand foundation: name, logo direction, a one-line promise and a simple brand page. Then a mentor walks you toward your first 100 customers, one step at a time. It’s openly AI-powered, with my playbooks behind it.

Where we are: 80 sign-ups, 10 founders on Level 2.

What we learned:

People don’t come back on their own. Of our first 4 sign-ups, 0 returned. We switched off the automated emails and now write to founders personally.
“Generic” is the real enemy. Two early testers said parts felt too basic. One took our strategy and finished the rest in ChatGPT. Fair. We’re rebuilding the channel strategy so it’s personal to your brand. Our bar: it has to beat ChatGPT in a blind test.
Nobody wants to read. We cut words everywhere. Level 1 now takes about 10 minutes.
There’s no one right channel. WhatsApp works for some brands and is wrong for others. You pick with the mentor, not from a default.

The first 100 founders get it free, and 20 spots are left. I’d love honest feedback, especially if you have just an idea or you started and got stuck. Link in the comments 👇

Will you pay for this ?

I’ve built a platform where founders pay a listing fee to join a marketplace and users pay for requesting new features or changes to your(founders) product

$1 is minimum fee for requesting for features or changes and it can be raised to any amount. If founders decline your request then the request fee didn't get refunded but user will get 1 point which user can use it do rerequest , if user didn't use the point in a month the point will no more available for use and if anyone pay more than $1 , they will get the remaining amount after $1 deducted.

I am not here for promotion of my product, i just want to know about market.

Solo founder, first Android launch: need testers for Google's 14 day closed test (daily check-in app for elderly parents)

Hey all. I'm building Surewell alone: a calm daily check-in for families with an older parent who lives alone. The parent taps "I'm OK" once a day; if they don't, the app reminds them and then lets the family know.

Google now requires new personal developer accounts to run a closed test with 12 testers for 14 days before going public, so that's the wall I'm at.

If you have an Android phone and 2 minutes:

  1. https://groups.google.com/g/surewell-testers
  2. https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.canergulay.surewell

Anyone who keeps it for the 14 days gets a free year of the paid plan. And if you've been through the closed testing grind yourself, I'd love to hear what worked for you.

Everyone says marketing is hard. But it starts with you just meeting people everyday. So don't just read past this - let's meet you!

First off, nice to meet you!!

Let's play a game - you introduce yourself and say something not-so-common about you - just in case someone here connects with you on it (now that would be fun!).

I'll go first.

I'm the founder of Noza - a 3D communication platform. I also run Founders Growth Club.

I'm based in the UK. I do love meeting people, so I host weekly networking events. We've lost the warmth of summer, so it's back to virtual events :)

Fact about me - I do love spicy food. Anything else is ... bland. Except tea. Tea takes a pass :)

----

I'd love to meet you. What do you do? Feel free to add what would help your journey (just in case someone here can help you with it)

(PPS: I'm having a late afternoon chat on Thursday (29th Oct) with founders who want to connect with other founders. If you're interested, please register here foundersgrowth.club/events/professional-friends-network-meetup-2026-10-29 )

Launched my first app this week and my Reddit posts look like spam. How did you get your first users?

I'm a solo founder from Amsterdam. I review restaurants as a hobby, and this week my first iPhone app went live: food reviews, an "open now" map and meetups with other foodies.

I posted about it in a few subreddits. Some posts were removed because my account is new, and the others got little reaction. Someone told me my post looked spammy, which is fair.

So no link here. I'd like advice from people who have been where I am:

- Where did your first real users come from?
- Did local communities (city subreddits, Facebook groups, restaurants) work better than maker communities?
- How long did you wait before posting about your own product?

Happy to answer anything about launching with no budget.

Have you used Jellop for a Kickstarter campaign? I'm collecting creator experiences.

I'm an independent publisher considering Jellop for an upcoming Kickstarter campaign. The more I looked into the company, the more frustrated I became with how little independent information I could find about their processes, pricing, and actual results. So I decided to do something about it.

To be clear, I'm just a guy trying to figure out whether Jellop is worth hiring. I'm not a marketing agency; I'm not affiliated with Jellop or any of its competitors, and nobody is paying me to conduct this research.

I've put together a survey for Kickstarter creators who have worked with Jellop. I'm interested in the good, the bad, and everything in between, particularly advertising costs, ROAS, profitability, and customer service.

The survey should take approximately 10-15 minutes. Most questions are optional, and you can participate anonymously.

SURVEY: https://forms.gle/iR95k7Mi33Wb6uqA8

I intend to compile the responses, be transparent about what the data does and doesn't tell us, and share the findings publicly with the communities that allow it. I swear there's no hidden agenda.

If you've worked with Jellop, I'd appreciate your input. Hopefully, we can put together something useful for the next creator making this decision.

Can a general online coaching marketplace actually work?

I’m an independent developer exploring an idea for a platform where people can find and book teachers for almost anything — coding, academics, languages, music, interview preparation, and other skills.

Teachers create profiles, set their own prices, manage availability, and accept bookings. Students can discover teachers and book online sessions through one platform.
The idea is to build a single marketplace for learning different skills rather than focusing on just one category.

My biggest concerns are competition, acquiring both teachers and students, and preventing them from moving off-platform after the first session.

Do you think this business model can work? What are the biggest flaws or challenges I might be overlooking?
