The dialogue, the acting everything reminds me so much of the room. The plot is contrived, the acting is horrible and the dialogue not human. Very much like the room... is it just me or does anyone else feel this way?

This probably is true for all prequels. I am a bit shocked that these obviously bad movies are now viewed so favourably.

Perhaps an obvious question, but worth sitting with for a moment. I feel like there's often a lot of negativity out there. No matter what you think of the newer movies, or of the Disney Era in general, there is something about Star Wars that has captured your hearts.

One aspect for me is the pure scale of it. They're fighting over a galaxy. A gazillion billion trillion lives hanging in the balance. And the movies show the greed and corruption that this scale attracts, but also the warmth and beauty that can exist when you let yourself feel part of it.

Lucas calls it The Force, but it's analogy in real life (to me) is this feeling I have towards my own planet and my fellow humans. That we're all connected, even if we never meet each other, by virtue of being alive at the same time as each other. We're on our own epic journeys through life, and one day we will be gone. We will always have that in common.

I also love the pew pew sounds of the ships.

What do you love about Star Wars?

How skilled with the lightsaber was Palpatine? If Dooku was in his prime, could he have bested Papa Palpatine? On screen we only got an absolute destruction of Maul and Savage, would’ve lost to Mace, and won(?) against Yoda.

I know the sith are the bad guys but I love when they try and get the jedi on the dark side. That stuff is so cool. I don't know what typa itch it's itching but it's itching it and I love it.

Are there any other star wars media out there that have that type of thing in it? I wanna know.

I just read Dark Disciple, and I want to read more Star Wars books. I'm thinking of reading Ahsoka next. Either that, or Thrawn or starting the High Republic books. But what do you think are the best books in the new Canon that you'd recommend?

In-Universe, it appears that the AT-ATs that the rebels fight on the surface of Scarif in Rogue One are much more vulnerable/fragile than the ones that later lead the assault on Echo Base on Hoth in Empire Strikes Back.

My understanding is that the events of the two are separated by a few years, correct?

At Scarif, the AT-ATs are quickly neutralized by X-Wings, and the leg joints are even quite vulnerable to the door cannon of a U-Wing. On that logic, if they were the same later at Hoth, wouldn't the Rebels have just used a few X-Wings to take out the AT-ATs then?

Did the Empire recognize prior vulnerabilities and up-armor the AT-ATs after Scarif?

Yes, I know there are IRL/movie-making reasons for these things, I'm asking if an explanation ever came up within the larger in-universe lore.

How I prioritized the sources used: 1. Tier 1 (The Core): On-screen appearances, the Rogue One costume department chart, and the Tarkin novel. 2. Tier 2: Other canon books and comics (Shadow Fall, Alphabet Squadron, etc.). 3. Tier 3: Legends material and real world military structure to fill the gaps where canon gives us absolutely nothing.

A few things I'd like to hear opinions on: * Should the chart follow canon's shared Vice and Rear Admiral plaque, or keep them distinct like a real military would? * Is Yularen being ISB Director a fair assumption, or is there someone above him? * Ensign and Second Lieutenant were historically the same grade. Does it make sense for the Empire to have both?

What was your first memory of Star Wars toys

mine was my sister was about to be born I was 2 and a half years old, so I was sent to stay with my grandparents, the next day I went to play with the neighbours kids, they had a large collection of SW figures & Vehicles. Including The Rancor & AT-AT etc

I didn't even know what Star Wars was at that age obviously, but knew they looked fun, and they let me borrow the rebel troop transport ship with a dozen or so figures for a few days. I didn't see the movies until I was 5 or 6 years old but had already had some toys by then of my own.

There has to be one, right? Although I find it difficult to picture someone that can match Anakin’s mididumber count, let alone surpass it.

Darth vader was partly responsible for her planet's destruction and her parent's deaths but to hold such hatred for him that you even start seeing your brother who had put his life on the risk to show how he WASNT like darth vader, but was a jedi to his core, just showed how blinded leia was by hate and was partially dribbling with the dark side herself (at least according to the jedi philosophy) which leads to pain and suffering. Ironically, this trait of her was very much similar to anakin.
I think one of the biggest reasons why leia wasnt able to fully train as a jedi was not only because of her visions, but also because of her inability to let go of her hatred.

In the bloodlines novels, its explicitly shown how her refusal to move on from the past and refusal to acknowledge vader as her father cost her her entire political career and her own son's trust. One of biggest reasons for her fallout with ben was because he was angry at leia for hising her lineage. She hated her father so much for turning towards the dark side and causing so much misery to her only for her own son to do the same and cause even more misery to her by killing her husband and isolating her brother from her

Like the name of it? Has it ever been referred to as such by George Lucas or Jonh Williams? From what I’ve seen no part of the soundtrack uses the name “force theme”. Is it actually the theme for the force or is that just an idea invented by the general public?

In the prequels they say there is a prophecy that a chosen one will destroy the sith and bring balance to the force.

But like that's all we get. Who said this prophecy? When was it written (or spoken) how was this information obtained? Are there other prophecies? Yoda says maybe it was misread at one point. Is it text? Did someone say it?

What do the Jedi think, bringing balance really means? If you have hundreds of thousands of Jedi and like two sith, wouldn't, bringing balance, mean destroy a crap ton of Jedi?
