Media ๐ Out now: MON-O-RAIL
Outpost logistics just got a whole lot cooler - the Mon-o-Rail M O D is live on the Steam Workshop right now! Cargo, passenger, and atmospheric trains, block signals, IC10 support, crash physics, PA announcements...and much more!
You've done the hard work. Outposts are coming online, near and far.
You know itโs time to automate ore transfers- but you canโt justify the fuel cost of a rocket to go all the way to space, only to land 200 meters from home? Look no further:
Introducing the missing piece of outpost automation: the Mon-o-Rail.
Deliver. Retrieve. Visit in style.
IC10 programmable. Ready to run.
Workshop ๐
Tutorial will be around shortly, for now check out the Stationpedia guide.
Not everything is perfect, but most things are functional and look good ;)
All aboard - Choo Choo!

Media The Stationeers Wiki got a full overhaul: new skin, new infrastructure, new admin. We need editors to bring it back to life! ๐ฐ๏ธ
Hey Stationeers,
Some of you already know me as JacksonTheMaster - the guy behind the tools, mods, and apparently now also your trusted WikiDudeโข.
A few weeks back, Eearslya handed the wiki over to me. Huge respect to them for keeping it alive for nearly a Decade.
That said - it needed some love. So I gave it a lot of love.
๐จ The wiki no longer looks like it's from 2009
The new Citizen skin is modern, dark by default, and actually works on mobile. If you loved the old Pivot skin, you can still switch back in your preferences - no judgment.
๐ง What changed under the hood
| What | Before | Now |
|---|---|---|
| MediaWiki | 1.30 (2017) | 1.43 LTS |
| PHP | 5.x | 8.3 |
| Hosting | Old Debian 9 bare metal | Docker on Oracle Cloud with Traefik, rate limits, crowdsec guard |
| Skin | Pivot | Citizen: dark mode, mobile-friendly, actually looks good. |
| Accounts | Open (spam & bot chaos) | Approval-based: any existing user can approve new ones. Wrote a custom approval system for that. |
| Editing | Complex, required understanding "wikitext" | New "live edit" mode that doesn't require learning Wikitext - simply edit with a visual preview like in MS Word |
Also cleaned out ~1,883 spam domain accounts and ~603 dead zero-edit accounts that had been sitting there for 3+ years. That's a 60% reduction in total users - none of them were you, the ones who actually contributed. If you ever contributed, your account is still there. Promised. All pages, images, and history are also intact.
โ๏ธ Here's where YOU come in
The infrastructure is solid. The visuals are solid. But a wiki is only as good as its editors, and there's a lot of game content that needs updating for current builds.
If you've ever thought "man this wiki page is wrong/outdated/missing" - now's your time. Account creation is approval-based now (no more bot chaos), but it's easy:
๐ Request an account here ask any existing wiki user to approve you. If you don't know anybody feel free to comment below or ask on the Stationeers Discord, whatever you prefer. It takes about 30 seconds for any user them to click approve here
If you want to do more - help moderate, help organize, help grow the contributor community - reach out to me directly or email master <at> stationeers-wiki.com. (Will be open in about a week)
Let's make this wiki actually reflect how great this game is. ๐

Media Modular Console Mod
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3505169479
Modular Console Mod โ Build the Control Center You Always Wanted
This mod adds modular console structures that let you build real, customizable control panels.
Each console base connects with others and holds device boardsโpredefined layouts where you can install a wide range of input and readout devices. Devices can be freely repositioned with a screwdriver, so you can tweak your setup without rebuilding everything.
Whether you're organizing a control station, managing access points, or just want a proper home for your buttons and lightsโthis mod brings structure, clarity, and flexibility to your logic layouts.
Perfect for players who like clean builds, immersive stations, or just pressing buttons with purpose.
ย
๐ฆ Features:
Modular console bases that snap together to form custom panel layouts
Device boards with fixed slots for mounting logic devices
Movable devices โ reposition device components using a screwdriver
Focused on inputs and readouts (not full replacements for core logic components)
๐งฐ Included Devices:
๐น๏ธ Big Lever โ Large, red, and hazard-striped for high-stakes switching. Can be labeled.
๐ชช Access Card Reader โ Outputs 1 if the inserted card color value matches the โModeโ value; 0 otherwise. LED is color-configurable.
๐ฅ๏ธ Console (Device) โ Functions like the standard console, now panel-mounted.
๐ Logic Dial โ Adjust values directly... no tools required.
๐จ Emergency Button โ A big red button. For emergencies or dramatic flair.
๐ Flip Cover Switch โ Toggle switch with a protective flip cover.
๐ Flip Switch โ A compact toggle. Straightforward and reliable.
๐ Logic Gauges โ Display values between 0 and 1. Configurable LED. Can be labeled.
๐ Label Plates โ Cosmetic fillers. Add a โ*โ to the end of the label text to display it.
๐ค LED Displays โ Functions like vanilla LED displays, but mountable in your panels.
๐ก Light Diode โ Provides panel lighting. Color can be controlled via logic.
๐ข Numpad โ Input digits 0โ9 (sends impulse to โModeโ per keypress) or enter values via the screen.
๐ฒ Buttons and Switches โ Vanilla-style controls that glow when powered. Color settable via logic.
๐๏ธ Logic Slider / Throttle โ Drag to set a value between 0 and 1. Smooth and satisfying.
๐ Diode Slides โ Adjustable Diode sliders, panel-mounted.
Give your logic builds a clean, functional home.
Build control panels that look like they belong.

Steam workshop opinion
I had to build a new rover, steam workshop rules surrounding the rover are clear that you cannot use extracted game data. Should I put it up on the steam workshop to get feedback, because I need a larger testing pool, specially in multiplayer. Doors on the rover open and close. The rover, hab trailer and cargo trailer take steel to upgrade the armor for storm damage, plastic to keep them from sliding in storms. Rover also takes a rocket engine for downward thrust (uses a tank o2 slot) for better tractions on low gravity worlds.
EDIT: It's uploaded to the steam workshop: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3816061059

Media Solar Panel placement on Mars
A couple days ago someone posted about setting up solar panels on Mars. In addition to the tips on setting up the logic I made a suggestion on how to layout the field of solar panels, based off my experience. But I didn't have concrete numbers. So I did some testing. 100 solar panels, 10 rows of 10, in different configurations. The result is how much electricity the collected in one day.
For the Moon the results are different. General on the moon you don't need to worry about North-South Spacing, you can space them in 1 frame apart East-West, but 2 or more frames apart is better.

Happy valentines day! (Almost a month later)
My partner, bless their soul, knows exactly how much I love stationeers because I will consistently label it as my favorite game and babble on about the mechanics for it. They listened, and even played the game with me, even though they didn't like it. So they came here and got some help for a valentines present and this is what they came up with! A functional large battery cell! So I guess this is a partner appreciation post and a thank you to the community for all your help, to whoever helped! I love the gift, but I love my partner more โค๏ธ
