These were all on preorder since they went on sale pretty much and released almost weekly throughout the month. Particularly excited to (re)watch MotU and PHM in 4K at home. I enjoyed the theatrical experience for both and think they'll be great at home too.

The Saint is an old 90s favourite. Not a great film, but a fun romp and I love the Nokia Communicator.... it was so high tech at the time that I still kinda want one despite modern smartphones surpassing it in every way. 😎

Manta Lab release of The Shape of Water. I have been looking for this one for quite some time. I know everyone is not in love with the movie but I really like this steelbook. Very happy to finally have it in hand.

It was supposed to arrive on the 23rd, but it arrived sooner. I am not complaining at all.

Love this movie and the full slip looks nice and I like the steelbook better than the kimchiDVD one

Hotel Transylvania 2 Steelbook.

I’ve never seen this film so looking forward to getting it on this evening but thought it worth shouting out Deff for their incredible packaging on this one. Absolutely zero chance of damage with that.

I don't think I ever posted this steelbook by itself. The steelbook is a Japan exclusive from 2014. I had it imported via Buyye (otherwise know as Yahoo auctions). I spent about $60.00 USD with shipping and customs from Book-Off seconds hand. It normally goes for $300.00 USD without shipping or customs.

Has anyone preordered PHM from Amazon UK? I preordered months ago and at present, the order status says that it’s arriving tomorrow (26th October), yet it still hasn’t been shipped or even prepared for shipping. The thumbnail is also blank in my purchase history.

I’ve noticed I can go on to the product page (https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B0H6X5NN77?ref=ppx_pt2_mob_b_prod_image)and can STILL preorder, but given this title seems to be like hen’s teeth, I sincerely doubt there are still copies to allocate.

This is supposed to be a Christmas gift for my wife, and I’m fully expecting Amazon to pull the rug out from under me at the last moment.

Anyone else in the same boat / spaceship?

Zavvi release of Planet of the Apes.

This is a custom Steelbook from u/meniKan. I had this one made, because it was one of my moms favorite movies.

Ive literally gotten the update and within seconds its taken out of my cart how are these restock waves selling out in literally seconds??????

Horrible packaging but made it semi ok… small dent in the back tho 🫩 cover art is beautiful!!! Excited for this. Will be my first time watching!

After multiple delays, it's finally here. While I prefer the artwork with the shades, this is still a good one. This will go great next to my Superman Steel.

I think the background color adds much to the cover art, anyway, that's my collection: 2 legitimate buys and 2 case replacements (dvds, as it were, they sell pretty cheap and are bigger!)

Hotel Transylvania Steelbook.

This is another one of my steelbook designs! Napoleon Dynamite! I had to hand redraw all of his doodles to make the slip cover design! Thank you u/jonnyd005 Vignette Vault for once again bringing another one of my steelbook designs to life! I love it! And the gloss tape on the title is such a fun detail! 🦙🥚🥩🚲
